Experience in discharge planning within a level 1 or large academic medical center.
Proficiency in EPIC charting is mandatory.
BLS certification is required, and CCM certification is preferred but not mandatory.
BSN preferred, ADN considered.

Responsibilities
Records vital signs accurately and reports any changes to the RN. Performs venipuncture when ordered.
Performs computerized EKGs according to policy and procedure and provides copies for the patient's chart and the heart station.
Informs RN of any unusual occurrences or changes in patient's condition.
Provides comfort measures to patient and family members as needed.
Orders, labels, delivers, and maintains records of lab specimens.
Keeps assigned work area clean and stocked.
Contributes to the efficient operation of the unit. Demonstrates the goal of customer satisfaction through interaction with patient family members and other healthcare providers in a compassionate, respectful, courteous, confidential, and caring manner.
Attends and participates in appropriate in-service programs, unit meetings, and quality improvement projects.
