Essential Functions Provide telephone, in-person and online support for current computer and mobile operating systems and Microsoft office suite, as well as support for major on campus IT systems such as email and Blackboard. Assist in assuring continuous availability of University of Nebraska systems and associated applications within the infrastructure portfolio, including on-premise, cloud, and third-party hosted solutions. Implement and manage servers and applications. Will work closely with other specialists to troubleshoot problems, monitor services, and ensure performance, capacity and uptime meet University service level agreements within a 24x7 operation. Requires regular interaction with other networking, systems, and telecom professionals in the delivery of services and with end-users to provide tier-II and tier-III support.
