The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Research Administrator, Grants and Contracts, UNLV Sponsored Programs [R0147163]
This position is located in Las Vegas, Nevada in the Office of Sponsored Programs on the UNLV campus. UNLV Administration offers eligible employees the opportunity to work remote from home, in the office, and/or on a flexible schedule.
ROLE of the POSITION
The Research Administrator is responsible for the review and set up of grants and contracts for research, service projects, and other creative activities. This position acts as the liaison between the faculty and the sponsors. The Research Administrator manages a high volume, complex portfolio and performs the following duties:
Reviews awards and non-competitive proposals for accuracy and compliance
Obtains fully executed award documents and prepares internal documentation for award entry into Workday,
Enters new awards, amendments, corrections and other data entries into Workday
Administers sponsored program awards for programmatic compliance,
Reviews budgets and any changes in scope of work or personnel during life cycle of awards,
Acts as the liaison between the faculty and the sponsors and serves as the UNLV Point of Contact,
Assists faculty with award-related questions
Aids with developing and providing relevant training and presentations to faculty and staff,
Manages the transfer process of awards into and out of the university
Prepares Subaward agreements
Primary Job Duties
Reviews terms and conditions for all agreements other than contracts on behalf of the University. Responsible for getting agreement fully executed by both parties.
Formal acceptance of grants; ensures grant terms are compliant to institution. Compares proposal with agreement and makes sure agreements are accurate with appropriate scope, budget, and terms and conditions. Ensures any projects with compliance components have all of the proper documentation and that all internal and external procedures and policies have been followed.
Enters awards and amendments into Workday for review; responsible for the data entry of all corrections into Workday - editing of data, additional terms and conditions, uploading documents, adding additional award lines.
Preparation of subcontracts to other institutions and other entities so that project work can be done and monitored efficiently. Must flow down provisions from prime award and conform to NSHE policy. Incorrect subcontracts can cause audit, invoicing and legal complications.
Ensure the research and other sponsored programs community receives an appropriate level of grants management training.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Development Operations and Events Coordinator, Lee Business School [R0147181].
ROLE of the POSITION
The Development Operations and Events Coordinator plays a key role in advancing the development operational and donor relations efforts of the Lee Business School by managing a broad portfolio of responsibilities that span high-profile event coordination, support of the development team/officers, financial oversight, and external/internal communications. This position reports to the Director of Finance and Business Administration but will also take direction from and complete assigned tasks as instructed by the Senior Director of Development. Both functions are integral to the success of the role and are to be carried out as instructed.
The Coordinator is responsible for the planning, execution, logistics, and vendor management for events, including, but not limited to, the Nevada Business Hall of Fame, Thought Leader Series, Outlook, Lee Scholar Luncheon, and the Scholarship Donor Luncheon. Duties include facilitating pre-event planning meetings; coordinating and processing payment for all event logistics such as space reservations, catering, developing invitations, mailing list, and tracking RSVPs; media/AV support, registration, and parking; creating and managing event timelines; overseeing onsite operations and vendor relations; ensuring contract compliance; and conducting post-event evaluations and reporting. The Coordinator is expected to maintain proactive and transparent communication with all stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle. Occasional evening and weekend work is required.
Equally important, the Coordinator supports operations, including but not limited to, processing spend authorizations and expense reports for the Development Team, generating invoices, tracking payments, managing budgets, and handling financial reporting, endowment tracking, and donation processing in coordination with the UNLV Foundation and Lee Business School departments, centers, and units. This role ensures timely notification to department chairs and center directors regarding received gifts, fund transfers, as well as participates in donor stewardship activities, and maintains consistent communication and customer service to support compliance and proper use of gift funds.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong intuition and foresight-proactively anticipating needs, identifying gaps, and initiating solutions with minimal direction. This collaborative role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a customer service-oriented approach in working with diverse internal and external partners.
This position is considered essential and
may
be eligible for a limited Flexible Work Schedule (FWS), with the bulk of work performed on campus.

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Assistant Systems Administrator to lead and support the implementation, administration, and ongoing enhancement of ND AHEC's Salesforce-based data systems. This position exists to ensure the effective design, development, and management of advanced health workforce data tracking, using Salesforce and Formstack.
Duties & Responsibilities:
User Support & System Optimization (50%):
* Communicate with systems admin to build out project modules and troubleshoot workflows
* Communicate regularly with the system administrator to build, test, and refine project modules and workflow configurations.
* Respond to user inquiries and provide timely, effective support for system issues and data access challenges.
* Identify common user issues or barriers and collaborate with administrators to optimize interface design and workflow logic.
* Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features and updates to ensure smooth deployment and usability.
* Facilitate feedback loops between users and technical staff to inform system improvements and prioritize enhancements.
Data Management (25%):
* Review and validate Excel data files for accuracy, formatting, and completeness
* Standardize and clean data to ensure successful batch uploads to Salesforce
* Communicate with data owners to resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies
Data Analysis (25%):
* Design and implement custom fields and objects to support program-specific data tracking
* Build page layouts, workflows, and approval processes to streamline operations

Specific Skills or Equipment Required:
All necessary software, including access to Salesforce, will be provided by ND AHEC. The employee is expected to have access to a reliable computer and internet connection and a quiet, professional remote work environment. The candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support users effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
* At least 2 years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Salesforce, including experience with custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and permission sets.
* Experience performing data management tasks, such as cleaning, importing, and validating data from Excel or other data sources.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for data analysis and performance tracking.
* Experience providing technical support and user training, with strong communication skills to support adoption and effective use of Salesforce among diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in evaluating or implementing Salesforce AppExchange tools is preferred but not required.

ROLE of the POSITION
This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs. This schedule will be flexible to accommodate library hour changes, end of semester hours, special projects or events.
The Administrative Assistant III works in the Library Administration office and reports to the Executive Assistant to the Dean. This position provides administrative services for the Libraries serving as support for operations. This position processes travel transactions and training registrations for all library employees, tracks professional development allocations, establishes and implements procedures and desk manuals, transcribes and distributes written minutes, summaries. In addition, this position supports administrative functions for the various Library Administration units including Libraries' Human Resources, Libraries Communication & Events, and Libraries Business & Finance. Efficient and positive internal customer service is essential in supporting the student-facing library services. This is a “front office” position and assists the Library Administration student employees with callers and visitors to the department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

ROLE of the POSITION
The Admission Counselor, reporting directly to the Admission Coordinator in the Office of Admissions, maintains a high level of internal and external public contact serving as a liaison between the Office of Admissions, various academic units, and other organizations within the University. The Admission Counselor is responsible for outreach efforts in the recruiting of prospective undergraduate students to the University. Outreach efforts include conducting admission presentations; setting up and hosting workshops for prospective students and families on navigating the application and admission process; participate in recruitment events to provide admission assistance/guidance; bringing prospective students and their families to the campus; making calls to prospects and inquiries for admission counseling; and proactively communicating with admitted students to ensure the students will matriculate. Additionally, the incumbent will make determinations regarding eligibility for admissions based on knowledge and experience of records, transcripts, NSHE policies and official documents in making evaluations against the appropriate criterion; and recommending educational goals and admission requirements to potential students.
To reach their audience, Admission Counselors are responsible for planning and managing recruitment activities in assigned territories. The counselors assume responsibility for implementing communication initiatives that provide individualized engagement with prospective students in order to attract the demographic in their target areas set by the Director of Recruitment. Counselors stay abreast of changes that occur in their target populations and identify potential barriers to recruiting and admitting new students. They take independent initiative to act in response to such barriers when possible and recommend action to the Associate Director when larger barriers arrive.
This position is also responsible for providing leadership in carrying out special initiatives as assigned by the Director or Associate Director of Recruitment. The Admission Counselor will be expected to travel both in and out of state and work irregular hours, especially during peak recruitment periods throughout the cycle.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited college or university. ABDs may be considered, but credentials must be obtained prior to the start date. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate the potential for excellence in both research and teaching, as evidenced by a portfolio of high-quality published and/or ongoing research and effective teaching evaluations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA) is strongly preferred. Our primary teaching needs are in accounting information systems and data analytics, but we will also consider audit, financial, and managerial. ROLE of the POSITION
Student Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas invites applications for the Senior Staff Psychiatrist position. CAPS is an IACS-Accredited center within the Student Wellness unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, integrated service model dedicated to serving a diverse student population. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
The Senior Staff Psychiatrist position exists to enhance the behavioral, mental and physical health of students by providing high levels of psychiatric care. The Senior Staff Psychiatrist works as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team and primary function is to provide clinical care to students. The Senior Staff Psychiatrist participates in the Psychiatry resident training program by facilitating clinical supervision of PGY-3 psychiatry residents rotating within Student Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS). The Senior Staff Psychiatrist engages in continuous monitoring of both their own clinical services, as well as those of their supervised residents, to strive to improve services as indicated and in line with patient needs. The Senior Staff Psychiatrist is an active participant in case conference meetings and acts as a lead clinical consultant to Student Wellness Center staff, as indicated, regarding psychiatric care and complex/high risk clinical concerns.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Clinical Care:
Evaluate and treat patients for psychiatric conditions.
Prescribe psychiatric medication, monitor medication effectiveness, and provide follow-up care.
Assess for risk, create safety plans, and facilitate hospitalization for students that constitute danger to self or others.
Act as a lead in responding to psychiatric emergencies and provide back-up crisis care for other clinicians as needed.
Routinely consult with CAPS counseling staff about shared clients to ensure consistent clinical care and diagnostic impressions.
Generate patient correspondence.
Arrange for the appropriate transfer and discharge of patients.
Maintain timely patient treatment records.
Provide culturally competent care to our diverse campus population.
Comply with federal and state laws and regulations governing the practice of medicine. Provide clinical services consistent with APA ethical and professional standards and follow CAPS and Student Wellness Center policies and procedures.
Teaching/Supervision:
Participate in the training and clinical supervision of PGY-3 psychiatric residents as needed.
Act as a lead clinical staff member by assisting psychiatric residents with risk assessments and case consultation related to complex clinical matters.
Support CAPS training programs via seminar facilitation and provision of didactic lectures.
Complete supervisory and training tasks consistent with psychiatric residency program guidelines, APA ethical and professional standards, observe state laws, and CAPS/SWC policies.
Engage in monitoring of clinical services of supervised residents to strive to improve services as indicated and in line with patient needs.
Provide training to CAPS/SWC staff regarding psychiatric treatment and medications.
Administrative and Collaborative Meetings:
Participate in staff meetings, Clinical Assessment Team (CAT), Integrated Care Team, monthly unit meetings, and other meetings as indicated.
Typically, during slower clinical times and in consultation with your supervisor, complete other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, completing a quality improvement study, reviewing/editing policies and procedures, reviewing/editing of psychiatry note templates, participating on search committees, etc.

This position requires an MD or DO from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Candidates must have at least 1-3 years of supervisory experience.

ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Associate Dean/Division Director, Research and Education, the Service Excellence and Safety Manager provides leadership and oversight of patron experience and safety operations within the University Libraries. The Manager oversees the Service Excellence and Safety unit in the UNLV University Libraries Research and Education Division and is responsible for the development of policies and procedures and managing their implementation, that will provide a level of protection and prevention that is appropriate for the scope, depth, an breadth of University Libraries' staff, users, and assets within Lied Library and branches (School of Medicine Library, Architecture Library, Teacher Development Resource Library, and the Music Library) including supervision of 1 full time Security Officer (Safety Operations Coordinator) and indirect supervision of up to 10 student employees. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

ROLE of the POSITION
Student Wellness at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2) for Student Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) to join a dynamic, integrated service delivery unit that includes a counseling center, health center, behavioral health team, wellness promotion department as well as offices for disability services, military and veteran services, CARE advocacy, and student conduct. Student Wellness provides a comprehensive array of health and wellness services that are responsive to the needs of our diverse population.
The AA2 facilitates CAPS on site front desk operations and provides clerical and management support to the department. Clerical and management support duties include but are not limited to: answering telephones, scheduling, confirming and canceling appointments, client registration and check-in/checkout, assisting with computer testing, clerical tasks, and assisting students with general questions about services. The AA2 also creates and modifies client account records, demonstrates good customer service skills at all times, and participates in creating a learning environment. The AA2 works collaboratively with other administrative assistants and clinical staff. Computer programs used are Microsoft Office, Student Information Systems and an electronic health record. This position requires confidentiality, professionalism, and superior interpersonal skills.

ROLE of the POSITION
Academic Advisor positions are responsible for providing academic advising to undergraduate students in individual and group advising settings. The Academic Advisor provides expertise in degree requirements and may be involved with representing the advising center at events and other assigned special projects geared to enhance student success. The Academic Advisor must have/develop knowledge of general core requirements for each major within the Division of Health Sciences as well as policies and procedures of the university. Academic Advisors must be familiar with admissions, registration systems and financial aid processes to assist students. Skills also include the utilization of professional judgment in assisting students with choosing/confirming an area of study and determining the appropriate courses for the degree. Having the ability to develop and deliver presentations as well as articulate and convey policies and procedures are essential functions.
Under the supervision of advising center leadership, the Academic Advisor position must possess professional and social skills and be responsive to work closely with faculty, staff, students and parents/families from diverse backgrounds. The Academic Advisor position is expected to work on-campus and to meet with students in-person, as well as conduct virtual and phone advising as requested by students.
The Academic Advisor will be highly functional with regard to decision-making and problem solving skills. Effective time management and ability to balance a wide variety of tasks and student caseloads in an efficient and effective manner are vital to the success of this position. It is essential that this person adhere to student confidentiality guidelines (FERPA) and possess a high regard for ethics. Knowledge of other technologies related to academic advising and presentations is preferred.
Academic Advisors will utilize proactive advising practices. Proactive advising includes coordinated, collaborative, personalized, and intentional outreach strategies and practices designed to anticipate potential barriers to student success, provide timely interventions, and invite meaningful engagement between advisors and students. By anticipating barriers, providing interventions, and inviting engagement, proactive advising strategies and practices support improved student experiences and outcomes.
PROFILE of the DEPARTMENT/COLLEGE
This advising position will serve the Division of Health Sciences Advising Center (working with the following schools: Integrated Health, Nursing and Public Health), part of the Student and Academic Success (S.A.S.) team. The S.A.S. team is responsible for leading campus-wide initiatives that support enrollment growth and equitable student success through academic and student success programming to promote retention, progression, timely degree completion, and career readiness while closing achievement gaps. Student and Academic Success teams work closely with department chairs and faculty across the campus to support student academic success efforts, the implementation of student-centered and equitable academic advising practices, and deliver impactful student academic support programming from First-Year Experience through graduation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

One or more years of experience working with archival or cultural heritage materials and processes; grant projects and part time work are considered valuable experience.
Demonstrated experience with software development technologies and practices, especially related to open-source technologies used for archives and cultural heritage practices.
Demonstrated experience with digitization best practices, including work with creating robust online digital collections. Familiarity with researcher needs and use of digital collections and associated services.
Familiarity with web content standards, metadata standards, and file format specifications.

This position should have a basic knowledge of NCAA rules as it pertains to assigned job duties and the scope of employment. ROLE of the POSITION
The position provides a broad range of IT assistance to University Police Department personnel regarding technical needs and equipment usage. The IT Technician 3 will install software, resolve general technology needs, assist with use, error resolution, network connections, password reset, and service request coordination, referral, and escalation. Serve as initial point of contact for general IT service requests. Document all requests and related communication in the appropriate service management tool. A few other responsibilities include: deploy technology equipment, move, deliver, and setup hardware to user requirements. Update inventory to reflect location and possession of property. Test implementation of new systems, and conduct and update inventory of department technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or equivalent and four years of experience utilizing the fundamentals of typical computer systems, operating systems, applications, and peripherals, two years of which must have included IT work experience in a user support role; OR one year of relevant experience as an IT Technician II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
SALARY
Grade 30 Step 1, salary $52,200. "Step" means the number assigned by the Division of Human Resource Management to identify a specific rate of pay within a grade. Per Nevada Administrative Code (NAC 284.170), salaries for initial appointments for classified positions typically begin at Step 1.

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Program Manager, Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Lee Business School [R0140355].
ROLE of the POSITION
The program manager will report to the Executive Director of the Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (the Center) and manage the daily business operations essential to the Center's mission. This person will be a primary front-line community engagement contact for the Center and will work with and support the Center Executive Director and Research Director to develop, execute, and maintain Center programs. This position will also manage the logistics of Center events, prepare, track and report annual budgets, and process financial documents. The position will also perform administrative duties as well as supervise and coordinate the activities of Center graduate assistants. The program manager must work in a timely, accurate, and cordial manner with external stakeholders and donors, as well as internal entities spanning from upper administration to staff in various campus departments/units. This position is essential to the operations of the Center.
In addition, the program manager will serve as the Campus Director as outlined by the Blackstone Launch Pad (BLP) agreement until the termination of the grant. The BLP Campus Director is responsible for overall program oversight, management, delivery and results, including but not limited to:
Develops and executes strategic plan for BLP Program on their campus
Adheres to BLP brand guidelines
Builds relationships with other campus entrepreneurship resources (e.g., professors, student clubs, incubators/accelerators, competitions, etc.) for whom BLP Program can act as a concierge to help interested students navigate the Institution
Regularly communicates with students via newsletter or other channel to promote campus and BLP network programming and content
Completes semi-annual reports to be submitted to Foundation
Nominates and supports the most appropriate students to participate in BLP signature events, programs and showcase opportunities
The program manager serves as a public operations contact for the Center and is responsible for the management of its daily operations, as well as responsible for managing programs and activities offered by the Center. This position reports to the Director and will work with the Director and Research Director to interface professionally with community partners, external advisory groups, and the center to meet its goals and objectives. This position is established as the centralized point of contact and disseminates UNLV policies, strategies, and objectives pertaining to the Center's mission. The incumbent is expected to serve and represent the center on various committees and groups with appropriate university departments and programs, government officials, and the community.
This regular work hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, though some night and weekend work will be required. Schedule may be flexed, when appropriate and as approved by supervisor, but this position is not eligible for 100% remote work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 3-5 years of experience in budget management, office operations management, and event implementation. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include: Master's degree, 1-3 years of supervisory experience, familiarity working in a higher education setting, and skilled use of software such as StartUp Tree and Workday.
