ROLE of the POSITION
The UNLV Lee Business School and Department of Finance seek applications for the position of Lee Assistant / Associate Professor of Finance. In 2012, the Ted and Doris Lee Family pledged a $15 million naming gift for the Lee Business School. Part of that gift includes the endowment of ten Lee Scholar professorships across the Lee Business School. The Lee Professor will demonstrate excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service. Preference will be given to Senior Assistant or Associate Professor rank.
Requirements of the position include conducting significant research leading to high-quality refereed publications and performing service activities for the department, school, university, and profession. This position involves teaching in undergraduate and/or graduate-level finance courses. Interested candidates may be involved in executive education and professional certificate programs.

PROFILE of the DEPARTMENT
The Department of Finance is a vibrant and rapidly growing department that offers a comprehensive curriculum, including Gen-Ed level financial literacy courses; two undergraduate majors in Finance and Insurance & Risk Management; a concentration in Banking; and the Master of Science in Quantitative Finance, with a Ph.D. program expected to launch soon. Since 2022, enrollment in finance courses has nearly tripled, reflecting the department's momentum and reputation for excellence. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Ph.D. in Finance (or a closely related field) from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
* For consideration at the rank of Assistant Professor: Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for excellence in research and teaching. Evidence may include a pipeline of high-quality working papers, publications in reputable journals, and effective teaching evaluations. The successful candidate will show promise of developing a sustained record of impactful scholarship and teaching effectiveness at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
* For consideration at the rank of Associate Professor: Candidates must have an established record of scholarly achievement commensurate with the rank of Associate Professor at a research-intensive university. This includes a portfolio of publications in leading finance and related journals, demonstrated teaching excellence, and a record of service contributions to the department, school, university, or profession. Candidates should show evidence of national or international recognition in their field and the ability to contribute to the department's continued growth and reputation.

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is seeking a community-centered Extension Education Project Coordinator in Hawthorne, NV to support senior programming, Tribal food production efforts, and youth agricultural education.
In this part-time role (80% FTE), you will implement the Veggies for Seniors program, teach the Too Good for Drugs curriculum at Hawthorne Junior High and Schurz Elementary, and support youth activities within the Walker River FRTEP (Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program). You will also assist with Tribal hoop house and food production projects, helping strengthen local food systems, promote health and wellness, and expand hands-on agricultural learning for seniors, youth, and families.
This position offers an opportunity to work closely with Tribal communities, elders, youth, and local partners to deliver culturally responsive, research-based programming that enhances community health, agricultural knowledge, and food sovereignty.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and report on the Veggies for Seniors program, including scheduling, distribution, data tracking, and community engagement.
Teach the Too Good for Drugs curriculum at Hawthorne Junior High and Schurz Elementary School.
Support youth learning in the Walker River FRTEP program through hands-on agriculture, nutrition, and STEM activities.
Assist with Tribal hoop house and food production projects, including planting, harvesting, and educational demonstrations.
Deliver agriculture and youth education programs in partnership with Tribal communities, schools, senior centers, and local organizations.
Conduct outreach, maintain positive community relationships, and promote awareness of Extension programs.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; OR a Master's degree and one year of related experience.

This is a larger project requiring the development of multiple modules comprising an integrated system. Modules are currently in different states of development (i.e. completed, in progress, not yet started). We have a clear idea of the remaining development we would like to achieve. After discussing a new module's specifications and requirements, then development begins. The freelancer will be expected to provide daily or weekly status updates and the project manager (PM) will be available to answer questions to guide the design. The developer will work as a collaborative team with one other full-stack developer on this complex project. Both developers and the PM will work together on the project and meet virtually using a screenshare 1-3 times per week. Prior development has usually utilized sprint planning to define the next 1-2 weeks of development priorities. This is followed by testing new development at frequent intervals during daily or weekly meetings, and the PM providing guidance on minor modifications to improve the user experience. One role of this position will be assisting to upgrade this older system using the latest technology tools to ensure business continuity for critical operations and data management for the next several years. The PM is a subject-matter expert that defines system requirements and provides design guidance but is not an IT professional. The PM also performs testing of new functionality. ROLE of the POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Special Collections and Archives, the Director provides strategic leadership and direction for the Oral History Research Center (OHRC) within the University Libraries. They are responsible for overseeing the entire program, including collecting oral histories; developing new projects; conducting research; creating question sets; identifying, interviewing, and recording narrators; and transcribing and editing interviews consistent with current best practices in the field of Oral History. They supervise a team of 1-2 project managers, as well as a varying number of part-time editors, office assistants, and students as projects demand. They are responsible for the administration of the center, including reporting requirements, budget creation and management, policy creation, and setting priorities in alignment with the division and library strategic plans. This is a highly collaborative role and the Director is expected to work across Special Collections, the University Libraries, UNLV, and the Las Vegas community to build relationships, cultivate and steward donors, promote the collection and use of oral histories, and ensure the long-term success of the OHRC. The Director is also a key member of the Special Collections and Archives Area Leads Team, the cross-divisional leadership team for the unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is seeking a motivated and community-focused instructor with strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve as a Temporary Part-Time Extension Instructor. This position supports the Storey County and Dayton communities and reports to the Extension County Coordinator for Carson City and Storey County.
As a key part of our Extension team, the Extension Instructor will deliver high-quality, research-based programming to youth, adults, and seniors throughout Storey County and Dayton. This temporary part-time position focuses on direct education delivery, community outreach, participant recruitment and retention, program data collection, and support of grant-funded initiatives. The successful candidate will work with diverse audiences, collaborate with community partners, maintain program records, and contribute to statewide Extension goals.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct education and programming in schools, community centers, and public sites.
Develop and implement strategies for participant recruitment and retention.
Foster strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Collect and manage participant demographics, attendance records, and program evaluation data.
Support community events, Extension projects, and statewide programming efforts.
Source instructional materials and manage inventory per University and State guidelines.
Communicate programming needs, concerns, and successes with the supervisor and statewide teams.
Travel within Storey County and Dayton, and occasionally outside the county for trainings or events.
Required Qualifications
Candidate has graduated from high school or equivalent education
Candidate has experience in areas such as agriculture, horticulture, community development, health and nutrition, human and family development, and natural resources in urban and rural areas

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with diverse socioeconomic and cultural groups.

The incumbent will lead/expand the development of memory disorders research in the College of Nursing. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will maintain a high level of external grant-supported research, disseminate research findings, and promote the translation of research findings into practice working closely with practice colleagues. The incumbent will mentor junior faculty, clinician scientists, and students; participate in the development and submission of interdisciplinary grant applications for centers and training programs; and maintain individual extramural funding.

MINIMUM:
Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or related field.
If a nurse, the applicant must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida.
