Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The main purpose of the UNC Greensboro Police Officer position is to protect and serve the students, faculty, staff and visitors of University of North Carolina Greensboro through law enforcement and crime prevention. Our officers and employees are highly trained and dedicated individuals whose personal mission is to make sure campus community's experience at UNCG is not only memorable and successful, but also safe. Position Summary
Positions in this banded class perform law enforcement work at a University campus or other State facility. With full powers of arrest, positions enforce the laws of the State and the United States Government. Positions have law enforcement authority ranging from traffic control to criminal investigations within a limited geographic jurisdiction. Work involves patrolling an assigned area for response to complaints or calls for detection of violations in the enforcement of State laws and applicable regulations. Duties include apprehending observed violators committing offenses, investigating violations or complaints to assess and handle cases, collecting and preservation of evidence and the chain of custody, testifying in court proceedings, and performing related work. Positions may serve as a patrol officer, detective squad member, crime prevention officer, or in some police organizations as a lead officer on an assigned shift.
Positions at this level have an advanced level of training and experience compared to the Police Officer positions.
Master Police Officer I: Candidates will have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and six years of experience as a sworn local, state, or federal law enforcement officer. An advanced degree (JD, Masters, Doctorate) reduces the minimum experience required by one year. The recruitment salary for this level is $60,016 - $65,274.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
* At least probationary certification from the NC CJETSC as a commissioned police officer and successful completion of the appointing agency's designated field training program for newly appointed Campus Police Officers.
Note: Lateral hires who are already certified NC law enforcement officers and not first hired as a Police Officer Trainee may be assigned this classification conditional on successful completion of the field training program designated by the Agency Head. Out-of-state lateral hires must be NC CJETSC certification eligible.

* In addition, the UNC Greensboro Police Department requires candidates to possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License; and pass an in-depth background investigation, which includes driver's history and criminal history with no felony convictions, psychological testing, drug screening, and physical.
* Must successfully complete the university's orientation course and a twelve-week department field training program during the probationary period; must satisfactorily complete the state-mandated probationary period.
* The selected candidate must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and deal with the public and representatives of the criminal justice system in a professional manner.
* The candidate(s) for this position will be considered an 'ESSENTIAL' Emergency Duty Employee.

Position Summary
The School of Art at UNC Greensboro seeks a non-tenure track faculty member who will serve as Academic Professional: Assistant Professor of New Media and Design and the Assistant Digital Director. The School of Art is home to over 700 students across BFA and BA studio, arts administration, art education, and art history programs; and an MFA studio art major program.
As a 12-month faculty appointment, the Assistant Digital Director is expected to work with the School of Art's Digital Director, faculty and the Director of Art to provide support for educational programs, which includes management, coordination, and upkeep of the digital facilities as well as advice and guidance regarding technological changes and advances. Digital facilities include approximately 150 computers across two PC and three Mac digital classrooms, the laptop cart, the digital print lab, and additional computers throughout the building dedicated to digital production, as well as digital fabrication equipment, photographic equipment, and audio/visual display equipment both here in the Gatewood building and at Greensboro Project Space, the School of Art's downtown gallery space. This is a three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.
The Assistant Digital Director will teach a 2/2 load across a wide array of courses in digital art. The School of Art's New Media and Design program encompasses a range of conceptual and technological approaches relevant to contemporary art and design practices. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate education and will provide service to the university, college and/or school. Ideal candidates will have strengths in areas such as interactive art, digital art, image/video making and design. In the cover letter, candidates should describe their experience teaching diverse students, and their experience with skills-based and culturally responsive pedagogies.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Digital Director will:
* Manage digital facilities including five computer labs and a laptop computer cart; digital printing facilities, and equipment check out.
* Maintain scheduled hours in the digital studios and classrooms to assist students and faculty with application of software and digital techniques and technologies as they relate to classroom instruction.
* Supervise undergraduate and graduate student assistants.

* Continue education and remain current regarding innovations in hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications

Position Summary
The School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is recruiting for a certified registered nurse anesthetist faculty member in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. We are seeking an innovative and talented individual who is actively engaged in evidence-based practice and education and who wants to advance the teaching, service, and scholarship/research mission of the UNCG School of Nursing.

Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The Controller's Office, part of the Division of Finance and Administration, is responsible for processing all University disbursements, general ledger accounting, construction accounting, cash management, and fixed assets. Position Summary
The Director of the Foundation's Accounting and Investment Officer provides strategic, technical, and operational leadership for all accounting, reporting, and governance functions related to UNCG's associated entities, endowment administration, and investment activity.
This position ensures accuracy, transparency, and compliance across foundation and investment accounting; coordinates directly with the University's outsourced investment management and custodial service providers; and serves as UNCG's lead accounting liaison with external advisors and auditors.
The Director works closely with the University Reporting, Operations, Budget, and Advancement teams to ensure consistent financial integration, accurate consolidation, and adherence to the University's Investment Policy Statement (IPS) and Investment Management Agreement (IMA).

The Center for Youth, Family, and Community Partnerships (CYFCP) builds the capacity of families, service providers, researchers, teachers, and communities to promote the well-being of children and youth. Position Summary
The Family Peer Implementation Coordinator will provide leadership and coordination for the implementation of Family Peer services with the selected provider agencies. The Family Peer Implementation Coordinator will provide formal and informal training and technical assistance opportunities around best practices for implementation of Family Peer Support. The Family Training Coordinator will work with their program team members to develop the trainings and certifications, in line with national certification and training standards (e.g., the National Federation of Families' National Family Peer Specialist Certification). The Family Peer Implementation Coordinator will support Family Peer Specialist Implementation sites in recruiting, hiring, training, supporting, integrating, and evaluating Family Peer Specialists (FPS) to provide direct support to families across NC.
Minimum Qualifications

Position Summary
The HRL Buildings and Dining Planner/Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the University's preventive maintenance program. This position performs administrative and technical work in planning, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance activities across campus facilities and operations. Work includes collaborating with trade shops, troubleshooting maintenance issues, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards. The School of Education (SOE)
The SOE equips the next generation of educators, counselors, researchers, and leaders to teach, counsel, and advocate in ways that expand opportunity and strengthen communities. The School offers a broad portfolio of academic programs across five departments, including top-ranked offerings in Counselor Education (11th nationally) and Library and Information Sciences (29th overall, with School Library Media ranked 10th). Online graduate programs in education have also earned recognition from U.S. News & World Report.
With a student body of approximately 1,500, among the most diverse in the UNC system, roughly 75% are enrolled in graduate programs and 25% in undergraduate programs. As part of UNCG's mission to provide access to higher education, the School's student body represents the breadth of experiences and backgrounds of the state and region: 47.1% are the first in their families to go to college, 9.5% come from out of state, and 39.3% come from groups that are historically underrepresented in higher education.
Academic Departments and Programs
The SOE comprises five academic departments: Counseling and Educational Development (CED), Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations (ELC), Information, Library, and Research Sciences (ILRS), Specialized Education Services (SES), and Teacher Education and Higher Education (TEHE). The School offers a comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs designed to prepare school leaders for a variety of educational settings. At the undergraduate level, students can pursue initial licensure in a range of disciplines, including early childhood, elementary, middle grades, special education, and the arts, often in collaboration with other academic units across campus.

Position Summary
Role of the Dean
At a time when the field of education is undergoing enormous challenge and change, the next Dean will lead the School of Education (SOE), ensuring effective operation of the administration, and uniting and energizing the School community around a shared identity that conveys the potential of the School. As the face of the SOE, the Dean communicates the vision and mission of the School to the community and professional constituencies while seeking public and private funds to support its goals.
The Dean reports to the Provost and will partner with the other nine Deans at the University. As one of the School's chief academic and administrative officers, the Dean is supported by a talented team of five department chairs, two associate deans (Academic Affairs and Student Success; Research), and one Business Officer. The School's annual operating budget is approximately $10.5 million, and in FY25 alone, it garnered nearly $6 million in new philanthropic commitments.
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
* An earned doctorate in education or a related field and a distinguished scholarly record commensurate with a tenured appointment at the level of full professor in the School of Education at UNC Greensboro.
* Experience in the administration of a large academic unit, including strategic and financial planning, with a track record of successful leadership.

The School of Music is part of the College of Visual and Performing Arts, a community of artists with over 1,600 undergraduate and graduate students. CVPA is the largest visual and performing arts unit within the University of North Carolina system and is recognized for its comprehensive array of graduate programs and the success of its graduates. The School of Music enrolls over 550 Undergraduate and graduate students.

Studies in music have been offered at UNCG since its opening in 1892. Courses for music majors who were looking to teach or perform were offered in solfeggio, ear training, and history of music. Position Summary
The School of Music at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro invites applications for an Assistant Professor of String Bass to start August 1, 2026.
We seek an artist/teacher committed to inclusive pedagogy and with demonstrated experience engaging students from diverse musical, social, and cultural backgrounds. The ideal candidate is a highly accomplished and versatile musician-teacher dedicated to access and excellence for all students. They will be a skilled and successful teacher of undergraduate and graduate students. They will fulfill duties and responsibilities commensurate with academic positions at a leading institution. The successful candidate will teach a studio of undergraduate and graduate string bass students. The successful candidate will be committed to contributing to the musical and intellectual life of the school and fostering engagement throughout the university and in the community. As a member of the School of Music faculty, the Assistant Professor of Bass will contribute to ongoing inclusive excellence initiatives in the school.

The Human Health Sciences Program
The Human Health Sciences Program at UNC Greensboro invites applications for a full- time, 10-month, professional-track (non-tenure) faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank with an August 3, 2026, start date. The program recognizes the critical role of quality teaching; Professional Track faculty members are fully integrated into the department and receive full benefits. The Human Health Sciences degree is explicitly interdisciplinary, drawing from a range of disciplines related to allied health fields, with a focus on Interprofessional Education. The Department of Recreation and Wellness (RecWell) is housed in the Division of Student Affairs. Position Summary
The Athletic Trainer is the primary responder responsible for providing care for routine and emergent injuries sustained during Club Sports events. Playing a vital role in the department's emergency action plan, AT's work with the Competitive Sports Staff to ensure club participants, spectators and visitors are afforded a reasonably safe participation environment.
Task & Supervision
AT's report directly to the Assistant Director of Competitive Sports and may receive additional direction from all members of the Competitive Sports Leadership Team (Competitive Sports Coordinator and Graduate Assistant/Intern) and the supervising physician. These staff members respond to emergencies providing efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured abiding by the department's emergency action plan. In addition, AT's are responsible for treating minor injuries.
In addition to providing immediate care, AT's are responsible for determining a participant's fitness for returning to play including evaluating the potential for sustained concussions. AT's should monitor environmental factors that may impact participant and spectator safety. In the event of the need to deny participation or modify a play schedule, these staff must exhibit strong leadership and communication to ensure potential risks are mitigated.
AT's daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the follow:

The Economist will become a key member of a dynamic research team by providing critical research expertise for complex, high-dimensional data analyses. The Economist will collaborate on a broad portfolio of grant- and contract-funded research and analysis projects. Trainees will provide individual psychotherapy, group counseling, workshops, and outreach services. Supervision is provided weekly by a senior staff clinician and will also include group supervision opportunities. In addition, trainees will attend staff meetings, case conferences, and training seminars. Trainees will gain experience in most aspects of a university counseling center. Our clinically diverse staff members bring extensive clinical and supervision/training experience and truly enjoy working with trainees. Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The Department of Recreation and Wellness (RecWell) is housed in the Division of Student Affairs. RecWell fosters comprehensive wellness by engaging students and the UNCG community in experiential and educational opportunities. Position Summary
The lifeguard position is responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and participants by monitoring water activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing emergency assistance when necessary. Lifeguards are responsible for educating all patrons of pool policies and procedures to maintain the safety of all people using the pool and or waterfront. Strong communication skills, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role.

Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
UNC Greensboro University Libraries invites applications for the position of Collections Strategist Librarian. Reporting to the Head, Technical Services, the Collections Strategist Librarian has Libraries-wide responsibility for building and managing the Libraries' collections. The Collections Strategist coordinates strategic collection building with innovative management of existing content to embrace new models in scholarly publishing and communication to ensure that the collections meet the university's teaching, learning, and research missions.
Position Summary
This position will manage central collection development funds (annual budget $3.5 million) under the direction of the Head, Technical Services; Administer the selection and renewal of e-resources and additional collections resources in consultation with the Collection Management Team and individual Library Liaisons; Craft and implement strategies for collection development, budget planning, and management; Lead and manage resource access activities including licensing review and negotiation and facilitating access to licensed content; Collect and analyze cost, usage, and other relevant data to ensure that the collections budget is being spent as efficiently as possible.
This position will participate in evaluating vendor offers; Prepare and present information to appropriate library groups to help inform collections decisions; participate in vendor negotiations; Serve as the primary contact for collection assessment activities that may include program reviews, accreditation reports, and internal assessments; Provide leadership for collections space planning; Incorporate data-driven and user-focused assessment methodologies to analyze the Libraries' current collection management program; Design interpretive reports and data visualizations to best present and communicate how the Libraries judiciously develop its collections in an environment of change in scholarly communications and publishing; Encourage a culture of innovation, collaboration, and shared stewardship responsibilities that serve the university's needs and the Libraries' strategic goals. This position will also supervise one librarian and one support staff member.
Minimum Qualifications
* An ALA-accredited master's degree, or comparable graduate degree.
* Minimum of three years of professional experience in building and managing library collections in physical and digital formats, including management of funds.
* Demonstrated evidence of successful implementation of data-informed strategies.
* Experience working with library consortia.
* Demonstrated evidence of success working independently, as well as collaboratively, in planning, coordinating, and implementing effective projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing.
