Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Firme Coding Administrative Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating essential administrative and programmatic tasks supporting curriculum implementation, event logistics, mentorship coordination, data management, and community communications, ensuring operational excellence and participant success within the Firme Coding Initiative. Responsibilities include facilitating program orientations, managing schedules, preparing virtual and physical learning environments, coordinating mentorship activities, tracking participant progress, compiling detailed data reports, assisting with community engagement events, and maintaining clear and consistent communication channels among all program stakeholders.
* Organizes and conducts orientation sessions and assessments to tailor curriculum to individual needs.
* Tracks attendance, curriculum progress, and skill assessments across all program phases.
* Coordinates mentorship pairings, aligning fellows with mentors based on professional interests.
* Administratively supports program outreach through content creation, including digital storytelling and success stories.
* Performs general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
* Supports internal and external communications by preparing newsletters, reports, and promotional materials.

Qualifications
* Equivalent to four (4) years of full-time, general office clerical and administrative support experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed.
* Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in a business or job-related field may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Knowledge of methods for organizing and facilitating program orientations, assessments, and instructional activities. Skill in preparing and coordinating virtual and physical learning spaces, ensuring instructional materials, technology, and resources are accessible and well-organized. Ability to support instructors and mentors in delivering workshops on digital literacy, critical thinking, and coding fundamentals, while maintaining adaptability for variable schedules, including occasional evenings, weekends, and local travel to program or partner locations.
* Knowledge of standard administrative procedures and communication practices used in program operations. Skill in coordinating schedules, maintaining calendars, arranging meetings, and producing routine correspondence, announcements, and internal communications. Ability to ensure timely distribution of program documents and materials and to apply effective organizational techniques that support smooth workflow, clear communication, and consistent delivery of program activities.
* Knowledge of data-tracking practices and record-management standards used to monitor participant progress and program outcomes. Skill in maintaining accurate digital and physical records, compiling data for reports, and documenting qualitative feedback to inform continuous improvement. Ability to generate evaluation summaries that support grant reporting, partnership proposals, and broader program assessment needs.
* Knowledge of mentorship frameworks and stakeholder engagement principles used to connect fellows with industry professionals. Skill in coordinating mentorship pairings, scheduling and documenting meetings, and supporting networking events. Ability to provide responsive communication, deliver routine guidance to mentors and fellows, and ensure logistical and relational support that strengthens mentorship participation and program engagement.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

* The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $23.35 - $ 24.29 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $23.35 - $ 34.02 per hour.
* HOURS: Part-Time; 15 hours per week; Variable schedule (may include evenings and weekends); involves off-site work and local travel; reliable transportation is essential.
* This is a Temporary position; end date to be determined.
* The position is currently hybrid ( up to 5 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.

The Teaching and Learning Librarian with a focus in open education will help lead and shape the Library's efforts to support and develop the work of open education across the Auraria Campus. This position will participate in outreach and develop structures to deepen relationships between Auraria Library and those involved in open education initiatives and course materials affordability. As a Library faculty member, the librarian participates on Library and campus-wide committees and in CU Denver faculty governance. _Research Support_
+ Provides leadership and support for Auraria Library's open education initiatives in collaboration with campus stakeholders.
+ Collaborates with colleagues and stakeholders to assess, implement, and maintain platforms and tools that support the creation and use of OER.
+ Monitors and educates internal and external stakeholders on developments in OER, including trends, legislation, public policy, and best practices.
+ Advises faculty, researchers, and students on intellectual property rights, including copyright, fair use, author rights, and open access.

This posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions for the 2025-2026 academic year will be made. What you will do:
The Lecturer(s) selected will teach in the Accounting discipline at the CU Denver Business School. Classes taught will be at either the undergraduate or graduate level and will generally be limited to three credit hours. Classes will be facilitated in varying modalities (in person, hybrid, remote or online).
Duties include delivery of tailored instruction to a variety of language and cultural backgrounds in accordance with prescribed curricular objectives and outcomes, preparing for each class ahead of time with balanced rigorous lesson plans, assessing student progress according to curricular objectives and outcomes, and adhering to program policies and procedures by reporting student offenses (plagiarism, cheating, absences, etc.).
Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Master's degree or terminal degree in Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Fiscal Reporting, Fiscal Management, Financial Forecasting, or a directly related field from an accredited institution and additional certifications, licensures, and/or trainings as applicable.
Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred Qualifications)
Prior experience teaching in Accounting.
Professional certification/licensure in accounting or allied field, e.g., CPA. CMA, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and proficiency in related discipline.
Demonstrated interest in mentoring and teaching in related discipline.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities.

Currently, the department has about 300 students who are pursuing BS degrees in chemistry, BS degrees in biochemistry, or MS degrees in Chemistry. Multiple certificate programs are also available at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This posting will establish and maintain a pool of part-time lecturers with experience teaching Chemistry or Biochemistry courses per semester for the Department of Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver.
By submitting your application, you will become part of an applicant pool. Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary, non-tenure track positions and will teach no more than two courses per semester. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of the department and subject to budgetary approval. The Chemistry department will contact you if there is an opening that suits your qualifications. Teaching assignments vary and can be lectures and/or lab courses, depending on the student enrollment and needs.

The teaching load for this lecturer position is a maximum of two Chemistry or Biochemistry courses per semester. The lecturer will teach the assigned course(s), hold office hours, and submit grades at the end of each semester accordingly.

MS in Chemistry or Biochemistry or a closely related field is required
Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching.
Experience in online or hybrid delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $1,615 - 1808 per credit hour accordingly.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.

This posting establishes a pool of candidates to fill temporary, non-tenure track lecturer positions to teach one or more undergraduate level courses as needed in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on a part-time semester-by-semester basis for SY26/26. Courses will vary from term to term. This position is paid on a per-course basis. Assignments are dependent upon student enrollments and are paid on a per course basis. There are no travel and relocation expenses available.
Lecturer

Teach one to three classes as assigned per term.
Prepare for each class session and deliver balanced, rigorous lessons via Canvas and Zoom in accordance with prescribed curricular objectives and outcomes.
Hold weekly office hours as appropriate per course allocation.
Assess student progress according to curricular objectives and adhere to program policies.
Record attendance and grades both online and offline, and be accessible for communication with students.
Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
A Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field and industrial and/or research experience is required for teaching undergraduate level courses.
A PhD degree in mechanical engineering or related fields is required to teach graduate level courses.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field is required to teach undergraduate labs.
Substitution\: A combination of education and related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
For graduate level courses\: experience in higher education environment us preferred.
For undergraduate level courses\: teaching experience in higher education environment is preferred.
For undergraduate labs\: industrial experience is preferred.
