Schedule: This is a temporary position with work shifts from May 28 - June 1, 2025. Individuals must be available to work throughout the entire 4-day event in order to be considered. Individuals must also be flexible and able to work any shift assigned throughout the event (see below).
Orientation: Wednesday, May 28: The University will provide a paid detailed orientation session. In this session you will be given Reunion staff shirts and name badges along with the dress code. If you do not show up for orientation and/or your scheduled shift, you will not be eligible for future Reunion Work.We will also provide specific instructions on the use of our walkie-talkie handheld radios that will be the primary method of communication between Transportation Dispatchers and Shuttle Drivers. Forensic Psychology (ELMHS) - Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Forensic Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship at Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System is offered through the Forensic Neuropsychiatry division of the Tulane Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The goal of the fellowship is to enhance and broaden the fellow's forensic assessment skills. Under supervision, fellows will conduct forensic evaluations at an inpatient forensic hospital (Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System - ELMHS) and in private cases. Fellows will perform a wide variety of forensic mental health assessments with forensic patients, incarcerated individuals, as well as those in the community.
A wide range of evaluations are requested at the ELMHS forensic state hospital and include: competency to stand trial (CST) evaluations, evaluations for malingering, psychodiagnostic clarification, intellectual and cognitive evaluations, and violence risk evaluations. Evaluees are justice-involved individuals who have been adjudicated not guilty by reason of insanity (NGRI) or deemed incompetent to stand trial by the court. Fellows will be responsible for selecting, administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests with the goal of writing high-quality integrated forensic reports.
Additional forensic assessment opportunities are available through conducting private evaluations in person in the greater New Orleans area and as a remote evaluator. The scope of evaluation questions are broad and come from referrals from attorneys, courts, and medico-legal professionals. Typical forensic cases will encompass both criminal and civil areas, although the majority of referrals are for criminal evaluations. Referrals include competency to stand trial evaluations, violence risk assessments, mitigation/resentencing evaluations, and trauma and PTSD evaluations in both federal and state court. A large portion of case referrals are for criminal responsibility evaluations.
Fellows will also have the opportunity to participate in administrative and clinical meetings, conduct forensic research, and when possible, supervise other trainees under the umbrella supervision of a licensed psychologist. Fellows will attend forensic training seminars and scheduled didactics, including landmark case seminars and expert witness seminars. The forensic fellow is responsible for leading the ACGME-required Forensic Journal Club/Research Seminar. Participation in the annual mock trial conducted jointly with the Tulane Law Clinic and the Tulane Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship is expected. Additionally, opportunities to observe a board-certified psychologist testify and receive supervision on report writing for court and discussion of expert witness skills is a frequent activity.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Completion of a Psy.D. or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology at an APA-accredited program by the start of the fellowship.
* Completion of an APA-accredited internship with an emphasis on forensic psychology by the start of the fellowship.
* Eligibility for state or provincial licensure or certification for the independent practice of psychology by the start of the fellowship.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:
1. Ability to use and interpret forensic psychological assessment instruments and the ability to obtain relevant data through third-party data gathering and a comprehensive forensic interview.
2. Ability to integrate results and formulate interpretations consistent with data, relevant to the conclusions related to the legal question.
3. Excellent forensic report-writing skills, including the ability to write an accurate, comprehensive, and defensible integrated forensic report focused on the referral/psycholegal issue.
4. Experience in reviewing and summarizing case records.

6. Ability and willingness to travel/commute when required.
7. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in high-stress situations.

9. Ability to initiate and manage forensic research projects and perform empirical literature searches.

The USC department of Facilities Planning and Management (FPM) - Engineering Services is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer.
THE WORK YOU WILL DO
The Fire Protection Engineer serves as technical support for all department programs. This position provides leadership and direction on project operations and activities such as the assessment, design, plan, schedule, budget and scope of services. Identifies appropriate strategies to ensure delivery of quality of services with available resources. Provides technical expertise, support, and management to FPM as it relates to fire protection building infrastructure. Interprets federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance with existing regulations.
The Engineering Services department consists of technical experts in the areas of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and commissioning. The team is responsible for technical scope development, assessment reports, and design reviews, along with providing construction administration technical support. The engineering team works in tandem with Project Managers and Shop Managers to ensure that all technical aspects of systems, whether new, repairs or replacements, meet the needs of the University. The engineering team also drives the standards within the USC Facility Design Guidelines. The Engineering Services department is focused on quality control & quality assurance for construction projects on USC campuses including new buildings, tenant improvements, and renovations.
The Fire Protection Engineer
Performs engineering assessment, analysis and scoping for assigned projects. Provides technical support for the development of documentation for bid and construction. Ensures project drawings and specifications comply with university standards and specifications along with federal, state, and local requirements. Provides construction phase support such as review of submittals, documents interpretation and field observation.
Develops, monitors, and implements policies, processes, standards and guidelines for various facility fire protection systems to maintain quality control of project types and sizes. Recommends best industry practices in support of improving unit processes for meeting user and facility needs.
Manages and negotiates consultant services on assigned projects. Monitors and evaluates the appropriateness and progress performed and completed by licensed or certified consultants.
Oversees, initiates, and reviews feasibility studies to determine whether design concepts are compatible within existing infrastructures. Develops and recommends changes to design concepts, as necessary. Reviews inspections of current building fire protection systems. Determines whether systems need to be repaired, replaced, or retrofitted. Recommends equipment or systems to install.
Conducts quality assurance reviews to ensure that required work is satisfactorily performed and completed by certified consultants.
Monitors operation, maintenance, and development of fire protection systems. Assists with resolution of performance issues.
Identifies problems and determines resolution within operating parameters and constraints. Assists with troubleshooting issues with various facility systems.
Gathers facts and figures to support budget development. Monitors and reconciles budget activity. Provides forecasts and projections to develop a budget.
Prepares reports as needed.
Provides leadership and guidance to staff, student workers or contractors, as assigned. Leads and facilitates inter-department committees to improve on efficiency and effectiveness of delivering services to end users, as directed.
Displays strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Displays strong technical background in fire protection systems, including but not limited to fire alarm, fire sprinkler, gaseous suppression systems, and pre-action systems.
Displays strong organizational skills including workload management and time management
The work hours for the team are between Monday-Friday within the hours of 6:00AM-5:00PM. This position has a flexible work schedule within these hours. A hybrid schedule (including in-office and work from home) is also available for this position. Work schedules may change at any time to accommodate business needs.
Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $99,442.58-$120,000. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
