The Plant Systems Specialist is a critical role responsible for plant floor systems and OT infrastructure. Position Summary:
This position provides support to the SNS Department. Coordinates the delivery, storage and care of food products, supplies and equipment maintained in the district's warehouse.
Monitors and orders commodity products and assures their safe storage, proper and timely usage, and inventory.
Assists and contributes to the development of the district's annual commodity forecast, food and supply bids.
Coordinates with menu planner on available food for menus, new food needed and for any menu changes.
Assists menu planner in estimating budget to purchase supplies.
Performs site visits, ensures USDA compliances.
Reviews yearly bids of Request for Proposals
Acts as liaison to coordinate with vendors on product issues and deliveries.

Position Summary:

Essential Duties:

Cleans and sanitizes the caferteria space, and all equipment.
Performs the duties of the cafeteria supervisor in the absence of the cafeteria supervisor.
Assists the cafeteria supervisor in clerical and record keeping responsibilities including menu planning and inventories.
Attends training courses as appropriate for continuous development of skills and successfully complete training certifications will be expected.
