Responsibilities:
* Assists the pharmacist with medication distribution, delivering medication, refilling automated dispensing cabinets, and exchanging emergency medication carts.
* Participate in filling of medication orders maintaining patient profiles, performing prepackaging.
* Prepare IV admixtures/chemotherapy and controlled substance orders.
* Assists the pharmacist with medication review, including but not limited to computer order entry, monitoring allergies, enforcing formulary decisions, and evaluating drug interactions.
* Accurately completes departmental documentation and billing by the end of each scheduled shift in accordance with department procedures. Examples included, but are not limited to, dispensing and compounding records, refrigerator logs, hood-cleaning records, chemotherapy compounding records, patient/department billing, and controlled substance delivery records.
* Where applicable, complete clinical workload documentation (manual or electronic) by the end of each scheduled shift in accordance with Department procedures.
* Effectively uses information systems, robotics, and other applications to prepare medication labels and assist with dispensing medications.
* Demonstrate a service orientation in all interpersonal relations. Conveys a positive, professional image.
* Prepare drug information responses and medication use evaluations.
* Develops and maintains a clean, organized, and adequately stocked work environment.

Job Summary
The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, Library and Archives seeks an intern to increase access and discovery to a collection of nineteenth and early twentieth century correspondence from the American Entomological Society, the oldest continuously operating entomological society in America, established in 1859. This internship offers pre-professional experience in digitization and preservation reformatting, creating and editing structured descriptive metadata, and data entry in digital asset and information management systems. This is a temporary position with a fixed amount of funding. The individual may work a maximum of 19 hours per week and up to 900 hours total. The individual will report to the Brooke Dolan Archivist.
Essential Functions
* Use digital capture equipment and software to scan paper correspondence.
* Create folder level metadata including the use of taxonomies and authority files for controlled vocabularies according to industry descriptive practices and institutional guidelines.
* Upload and publish digitized correspondence and associated metadata to online content management systems.
Required Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's program in library science, archives administration, public history, or museum studies program to be considered.
* Minimum of 0-2 years years of experience.
* Excellent attention to detail; ability to follow instructions when handling materials and performing digital imaging tasks.
* Computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate shared documents and data systems.
* Familiarity with basic archival theory, principles, and practices.
* Ability to work effectively under supervision and independently.

Job Description
A Forensic Nurse Examiner Apprentice is specially trained and certified by the Maryland Board of Nursing to provide comprehensive care to adults, adolescents and children who have been impacted by sexual assault, intimate partner violence, child abuse, human trafficking and non-intentional trauma. The Apprentice works under the general direction of the Forensic Nurse Examiner Manager.
Principal Duties:
Duties will be completed with assistance from an experienced FNE and under the direction of the manager until certification is achieved as a Forensic Nurse Examiner by the Maryland Board of Nursing. After certification, duties will be performed independently.
1. Assists in performing forensic evidentiary examinations on victims and alleged perpetrators in connection with chronic or acute physical, sexual, or domestic assaults, and specifically:
a. Provides timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to patients with a complaint of sexual assault utilizing a clinical process.
b. Obtains consent from the subject or custodial/proper authority prior to the examination relative to photography and evidence collection.
c. Performs evidentiary physical assessments using ALS when indicated based on evidence-based research and unit-based training.
d. Completes the Physical Evidence Kit required by law enforcement authorities.
e. Photographs patients and injuries as training indicates using proper technique.
f. Ensures compliance with Chain of Custody requirements.
2. Interfaces with law enforcement officials, crime labs, prosecutors, and other authorized stakeholders concerning forensic processes and outcomes to include providing expert testimony in judicial proceedings.
3. Provides testing, prophylactic treatment, prescription refills and related education to patients who potentially may have been exposed to HIV during their assault.
4. Participates in peer reviews, staff meetings and SART meetings.
5. Performs related work as assigned.
Qualifications
Current Maryland license in good standing as a Registered Nurse.
Must attend and successfully complete MBON Certified 40-hour didactic FNE Course within first 60 days of start date. If class and class time is paid for by University of Maryland, the FNE will agree to stay for one year after he/she is fully certified as an FNE-A.
Apprentice RN will agree to provide 60 hours of on call time each month while in the apprentice program.
18 months RN experience in clinical setting required, 3 or more years preferred.
