Education and Certification:
* Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Program: Completion of a program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) is required.

Job Description
Working under general supervision with approved protocols or under the order of a licensed independent provider (LIP), the Respiratory Care Practitioner II (Registered) executes assignments demonstrating a clinical competence in Respiratory Care in the selection of accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis necessary to evaluate and provide age appropriate treatment across all patient types in all locations to include cardiopulmonary dysfunction secondary to developmental defects, the aging process, physical injury or disease requiring the administration of inhaled medications, utilization of specialized ventilation equipment and performing a variety of respiratory care techniques. UM Urgent Care providers are the leaders of our urgent care facilities, providing excellent care to our patients, creating signature patient experiences and working as a close-knit team with medical assistants and x-ray technologists. We care for patients from one year of age and older, providing a diverse array of services from treating upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, and applying sutures, to employee health physicals, work related injuries and preoperative exams.
