**Responsibilities:**
Produces high quality DEXA scans by conducting scans in a safe and efficient manner. Independently performs DEXA (dual x-ray absorptiometry) scans on clinical and/or research patients as per MD order. Verifies and follows referring providers' orders while remaining in compliance with departmental policies. Provides accurate analysis of DEXA scan data and forwards such data to supervising MD office. Scans data into web-based computer system. Interacts with both internal and external physician/providers offices as needed. Possesses a sound understanding of human anatomy as well as x-ray positioning and the use of immobilization devices when warranted.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Prepares room and patient per MD order, properly sets up equipment, and positions patients.
+ Utilizes electronic patient information systems to verify patient name, date, appropriate exam, and any special exam specific comments from the provider. Understands and practices the Dual patient identifier procedure. Collects patient history prior to completing DEXA scan.
+ Produces a diagnostic, high quality scan for interpretation. Reviews the DEXA scan for accuracy and reports results/issues to supervising MD's office.
+ Operates and maintains equipment to conduct test for DEXA, including daily QA calibration. Initiates service requests for any DEXA scanner issues.
+ Transfers patients to and from imaging tables using assistive devices such as ARJO lift, transfer boards, hover mats.
+ Completes all necessary insurance verification prior to scan and bills for scans accurately.
+ Interacts with internal and external providers/physicians.
+ May participate in clinical trials research, as needed.
+ May assist with training of staff, as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
+ Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology required
+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Candidates must demonstrate a strong track record of team leadership, performance management, and strategic direction setting within an academic environment.

+ Provides clinical crisis interventions to patients across the age span who present to CPEP in a wide range of psychosocial crisis. Collaborates with CPEP nursing staff as indicated to maintain patient safety and support stabilization of acute symptoms during the course of the CPEP evaluation process.
+ Acts as subject matter expert for the clinic by formulating an initial proposal for disposition (Psych Inpatient, EOB, discharge with follow up and supports)
+ Documents their clinical evaluation, risk assessments, collateral information and summary of recent clinical history in eRecord
+ Presents their findings from their clinical evaluation, risk assessments, collateral information, recent clinical history, responses to interventions to date and initial formulation for next steps to the CPEP psychiatrist. The CPEP psychiatrist will utilize this information in conducting their psychiatric evaluation of the patient face to face and interactions with family in making decisions about appropriate disposition.
+ With latitude for clinical judgement and knowledge / understanding of CPEP regulations regarding discharges for CPEP; directs, develops, and facilitates discharge planning from CPEP for those patients who are evaluated as not in in need of acute psychiatric inpatient admission to inpatient or admission to the CPEP Extended Observation Beds. Problem-solving barriers to patient care, assigning tasks to CPEP Clinical Staff as needed. Engages CASAC, Peer Specialist or other members of the CPEP interdisciplinary clinical team in the assessment and intervention to achieve a safe discharge.
+ Includes safety planning with patient/family, making referral for outpatient follow-up or securing outpatient follow up as indicated and available.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Master's degree from a Counsel of Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) accredited program with major course work in mental health counseling required.
+ Or master's degree in Social Work required.
+ Prior experience working in acute psychiatric care setting.
+ Two years of clinical experience post-graduation from Masters' Program preferred.
+ Knowledge about and ability to provide behavioral health assessments/evaluations, crisis intervention safety planning, and complete referrals for community-based services and supports

Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle Manager (Referrals) provides strategic oversight of a central revenue unit that manages the process of obtaining referral/authorization for scheduled and unscheduled services as required by payer policy. The Manager is responsible for monitoring unit performance, work quality, efficiency, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
Operations
* Manage daily operations of the referral unit. Monitor and manage operational workflows and work queues, and programs on a regular basis for efficient use of resources. Evaluates the need for new tasks or functions to support the proper processing of referrals to secure reimbursement by payers.
* Ensure adherence to the priority matrix for work to avoid unnecessary delays. Monitor work queue inventory to ensure that accounts are worked timely manner. Advise leadership of potential backlog and advise on remediation, leveraging optimization opportunities and technological tools.
* Ensures policies and procedures are kept up to date and are communicated, ensures that information is understood and adhered to by supervisors and staff.
* Lead to manage special projects and/or higher complexity issues escalated by Referral Specialists for resolution.
* Make recommendations and execute quality and audit control measures to achieve compliance and optimum efficiency in alignment with Columbia policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
* Serves as the subject matter expert responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing, and performing resolution management for referrals.
* Evaluate work queues to verify WQs are capturing the appropriate activities and analyzing inflow for issues & trends. Analyzes patient WQ's to find trend issues and works with appropriate management and departments, such as IT, to bring issues to resolution.
* Reviews, analyzes, and communicates payer industry standards, policies, and other changes to supervisors, staff, and departments. Stays apprised of payer process changes. Stays apprised of batch and electronic insurance eligibility and other insurance coverage tools for improved automation.

Position Summary
The Director of Research Programs & Strategic Partnerships is a key member of the Center on Global Energy Policy's senior leadership team, reporting to the Founding Director. This role shapes CGEP's cross-cutting research and program agenda, working closely with the Director of Research to ensure the Center's work is policy-relevant, fundable, and strategically aligned with external partners and audiences.
The Director plays a leading role in developing high-impact program concepts and supports CGEP's institutional visibility and influence by representing the Center externally. In addition, the Director contributes original scholarship and helps frame the broader narrative around CGEP's research agenda. The role includes collaborative engagement with CGEP's scholar community on recruitment, research reviews, and the integration of cross-pillar initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Lead the team responsible for research affairs and strategy, and board operations.
* Represent the Center on Global Energy Policy externally with key partners in philanthropy, government, industry, and multilateral institutions to support engagement and visibility.
* Drive the content agenda-setting process across research pillars and scholars, working closely with the Director of Research to ensure alignment and focus.
* Design and develop fundable program initiatives that integrate research, communications, and policy engagement, and align with external opportunities.
* Oversee program implementation and assess impact by ensuring the Center on Global Energy Policy's major initiatives are relevant, timely, and connected to key policy and funding priorities.
* Plan and monitor impact metrics to ensure the external impact of the research program, have strategic program model oversight, and create value propositions for partners.
* In partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, oversee the strategic program budgets related to research, totaling approximately $7M.
* Contribute public-facing scholarship and thought leadership that shapes the Center on Global Energy Policy's institutional voice and strengthens its visibility in the energy and climate field.
* Collaborate with the Senior Director of Research on scholar recruitment, mentoring, and research review processes.
* Support internal prioritization, including identifying timely opportunities to elevate the Center on Global Energy Policy's work in public and policy debates.
* Mentor and collaborate with scholars involved in cross-functional or externally facing research programs.
* Advise the Founding Director on strategic partnerships and external positioning.
* Maximize the impact of the Center on Global Energy Policy's Distinguished Visiting Fellows program through structured engagement and output.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of related leadership experience.
* Strong knowledge of energy systems, climate policy, or international economics demonstrated through prior experience.
* Track record of designing and leading impactful, fundable programs or initiatives in complex environments.
* Experience engaging senior external stakeholders across philanthropy, government, and industry.
* Strong writing and communication skills with demonstrated public scholarship or thought leadership.
* Collaborative leadership style and the ability to work across functions and teams.
* Proven ability to shape institutional direction and translate complex research into strategic opportunities.
* Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership and engagement.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree (M.A., M.P.P., M.B.A., Ph.D., or J.D.) in a relevant field.
* Experience in research institutions, government, think tanks, or philanthropy.
* Background in fundraising or grant-making in energy and climate-related fields.
* Expertise in one or more CGEP focus areas (e.g., energy geopolitics, innovation policy, electricity systems, global development.
