The University of Santa Monica is dedicated to communicating the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology worldwide through the process of Soul-Centered education. Through their clarity of vision, intention, and purpose, Drs. Ron and Mary Hulnick, the University's Founding Faculty, pioneered and established a dynamic educational institution offering Graduate Programs in Spiritual Psychology. Classes take place in an uplifting Soul-Centered learning environment that nurtures the awakening of the human Spirit inherent in each student. The curriculum in Spiritual Psychology is designed to provide students with practical information, tools, and experience for transforming their consciousness and transforming their lives. One of the primary ongoing intentions at USM is to foster and nurture a Culture of Giving. Such a culture begins with the understanding that giving and receiving are part of the continuous flow of loving, caring, and sharing that are integral to the University's Soul-Centered educational process and supportive of the University's well-being. In 1976, the University came into being through the Generosity of Spirit and the inspiration of John-Roger, the Founder. The educational community that has evolved from that inspiration has, at its foundation, the recognition of the Generosity of Spirit that gives us all the gift of life. Out of gratitude to Spirit arises an impulse to share, to serve, and to give back. The USM campus is centrally located in Santa Monica, California, in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, parks, hotels, restaurants, shopping areas, international and local airports, and public transportation.
