Coordinates interview and orientation sessions, including scheduling, communication, and preparation of materials. Assists the Standardized Patient Laboratory Coordinator with student and community recruitment events, including job fairs and outreach initiatives. Updates applicant statuses in JotForm and internal tracking systems to reflect interview, orientation, and hiring progress. Organizes and uploads Standardized Patient photos. Maintains the Standardized Patient contacts spreadsheet and shared drive directories. Ensures new Standardized Patients are correctly entered and grouped in LearningSpace and simulation email lists. Provides updated contact and scheduling lists for Standardized Patient Laboratory Coordinator and Standardized Patient Scheduler use, and archive outdated versions. Compiles and organizes Standardized Patient availability each semester to support scheduling efficiency. Collects and records semester data on Standardized Patient utilization, shifts, and participation by discipline and Standardized Patient tier. Maintains and updates the Standardized Patient Events Analysis Excel file and generates summary reports. Provides statistical summaries and supporting data for the Standardized Patient Laboratory Coordinator and Simulation Director as needed. Creates and manages JotForms for program needs such as surveys, registrations, and departmental forms. Maintains organized hardcopy and digital personnel files for active and former Standardized Patients. Provides general office and communication support to the Standardized Patient Laboratory Coordinator and assists with special projects as assigned. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. Related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and four years of secretarial and/or clerical experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Department Summary
The University of North Texas (UNT) Student Health and Wellness Center is a full-service medical center offering all UNT students general wellness and specialty medical care. We are staffed with licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified lab technologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed nurses, and medical assistants.

Job Summary/Basic Function
The primary job of all lab assistants is to be present in the lab so that the resources of the Geo-Graphics Lab are open and available to the university community.
Required Qualifications
The lab assistants must be geography majors at the time of hire. All lab assistants will have successfully completed GEOG 281 Maps and GIS with a B or better.
Lab assistants must have the following minimum grade point averages at the time of hire: 3.0 in the major, and 2.5 overall.
Lab assistants must be familiar with basic computer operations. At a minimum this includes knowledge of Excel and Word, how to find and start ArcGIS Pro, and basic Windows operations such as saving and printing files.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to students who have completed GEOG295 with a B or better.
Ability to explain to users the vLab environment that all Lab computers connect to.
Ability to instruct users to connect to their MU OneDrive online storage (including reasons for doing so).
If new hires do not have all the above skills, they will be trained
Job Duties
Routine tasks must be learned by all lab assistants. These include the maintenance of computer files and lab equipment. Lab assistants will ensure that students use the equipment and supplies in a nondestructive and non-wasteful manner. Problems will be brought to the attention of the professor in charge. Lab assistants are responsible for ensuring the lab is always neat and tidy. Light cleaning including dusting and wiping down the white board shall be done on a regular basis. Any lab assistant unable to meet his/her scheduled time for any reason must notify the professor in charge in advance of that scheduled time. It is the lab assistant's responsibility to find another lab assistant who can substitute. Repeated failure to meet scheduled times, or to notify in advance of an absence, or falsification of time sheets recoding hours worked will result in the dismissal of that lab assistant, and in the hiring of a replacement assistant. Special projects are often carried out in the lab, either related to a professor's research or designed to improve the lab facilities or organization. Lab assistants may be asked to help with such projects. Promptly reporting hours worked in E-Time. If applicable, work one-on-one with students that need additional help with their geography classes.

Position Summary:
Responsible for performing testing and maintaining data related to audiology services. May perform automated hearing screenings, and first follow-up screenings, for infants born at Memorial Hermann Hospital or care for UT Physicians patients in clinic as directed by supervising audiologist.
Position Key Accountabilities:
1. Performs hearing screenings and first follow up screenings using automated equipment for all babies born at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
2. Maintains TEHDI database and upload results from screenings into TEHDI database. Enters results into EMR.
3. Provides written information to families regarding hearing, developmental milestones, and follow up instructions. Schedules diagnostic follow up appointments with audiologist.
4. Provides patient's family with information regarding the purpose of newborn hearing screenings and how they work.

Certification/Skills:
Computer skills including basic data entry, ability to utilize automated auditory brainstem response equipment and some specialized audiology equipment, basic verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education:

Organizational Function and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for instruction in Medical Laboratory Technician at the college level. Essential Duties:

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for an Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical Laboratory Science to begin Fall 2026.

This is a non-tenure track, 9-month faculty position. Primary duties will include teaching or co-teaching didactic and laboratory courses in: hematology/hemostasis, immunohematology, genetics/molecular diagnostics, microbiology, immunology, urinalysis/body fluids, and/or laboratory operations across the curriculum; updating course materials consistent with program accreditation requirements and advances in the field; participating in curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives; continuing education needed to maintain professional certification or licensure; and assisting the CLS Director. Duties also include advising and supporting students regarding academic, career, and professional development; engaging in department, college, and university committees and assigned service activities; serving as a liaison with clinical partners; and contributing to professional and community outreach as appropriate. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences is actively developing a Clinical Laboratory Science program. The proposed CLS program pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a master's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science or closely related field; active and current ASCP BOC certification as a medical laboratory scientist MLS(ASCP) CM (or other professional certification recognized by the department); at least 3 years of full-time employment experience as a clinical/medical laboratory scientist; and evidence of current competence and ongoing professional development in clinical/medical laboratory science. We strongly encourage candidates with doctorate in clinical laboratory science (DCLS), PhD in clinical/medical laboratory science or related field; higher education teaching experience; national certification as a specialist in a CLS/MLS discipline; advanced certification in online teaching; proven familiarity with NAACLS accreditation; accreditation experience in laboratory science education; active in professional organizations; employment experience within multiple disciplines in the CLS/MLS field; passion to work with first-generation students, and the ability to teach in multiple disciplines that complement our program.
We offer competitive salaries and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement benefits, and life insurance. Additional pay is available for summer teaching. Financial support for professional development opportunities, such as attending academic conferences, is also provided. Moving expenses are covered in whole or in part by the university.
