Participate in the education of residents, fellows, and students and develop a regular teaching schedule.
Guide faculty, residents, and students in scholarly activities, including preparing abstracts, manuscripts, and grants for submission.
Participate in relevant meetings and committees and be involved in developing, organizing, and implementing current policies and procedures in the department and the institution.
Assist in developing business plans and budgets for the Division.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Chair of the department.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants must possess an MD or MD/PhD degree or equivalent with current ABIM board certification in hematology and/or oncology and have at least 5 years of post-fellowship experience with an illustrious track record of patient care, research, educational, and academic accomplishments in addition to strong administration and leadership abilities that will support appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.

Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, the public and event performance directors

What You'll Do
Program Development and Implementation:
* Support the establishment of accredited DSMES services and other diabetes support programs in priority areas.
* Assist existing programs in tailoring recruitment, retention, and instructional strategies to better serve priority populations.
Workforce Development:
* Assess the existing diabetes workforce and identify strategies for recruitment, training, and retention of the workforce.
* Develop leadership capacity among program facilitators, lifestyle coaches, and other workforce members engaged in DSMES, diabetes support, and National DPP delivery.
Partnership Building and Technical Assistance:

We care for patients in Northeast Tennessee as well as Southwest Virginia, Northwest North Carolina, and Southeast Kentucky.

Summary
The Budget Support Analyst for Brendle Recital Hall provides financial oversight and proactive budget management. This includes the maintenance and reconciliation of all financial transactions, including operating funds managed by this department. This is a part time position that will work around 15 hours/week. Essential Functions:
Establishes financial and operational systems to monitor, control, and verify expenditures and carry out financial analyses for the Technical Manager of Brendle Recital Hall and Wait Chapel.
Prepares and manages grant and contract proposals involving a variety of funding sources and agencies.
Prepares correspondence, reports, or other business materials for the team supporting the spaces managed by this staff team in the provost Office.
Develops and prepares budgets and financial reports for the unrestricted operating funds.
Initiates requests for a variety of support services and agencies.
Exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment and can analyze complex information requests and determining complex trends.
Monitors budgets and expenses; maintains and reconciles detailed budgets for multiple accounts.
Provides timely and accurate reports of budget status.

With the oversight of the Technical Manager of Brendle Recital Hall and Wait Chapel, input, and book events into calendars, assist with rental agreements and contracts.

Responsible for the oversight of all daily operations for Athletic Plant Maintenance for assigned facilities.
Responsible for monitoring the budget to maintain workforce, minor construction projects, maintenance activities, equipment and supplies, requested by staff in the facilities that have been assigned to this position.
Manages all phases of projects, including managing and overseeing activities of various groups, internal and external personnel and vendors, within their facilities.
Supervise full-time and part-time employees and student assistants, who are involved in cleaning, maintaining, and repairing all athletic facilities and equipment in the facilities that have been assigned to this position.
Create and maintain a deferred maintenance plan for assigned facilities.
Collaborate with event management to draft and maintain policies, procedures, and emergency management plans for facilities and events.
Responsible for creating, implementing, and assessing the completion of in-house building renovations and construction, pertaining to the facilities that have been assigned to this position by the Director of Athletic Facilities.
Identifies problems, plans work schedules and determines key milestones and measure criteria, creates time and budget estimates for projects, and ensures supplies are available for project work.
Participate in periodic facility meetings to keep top management (associate director, director, and associate athletics director) informed of athletic department facility problems and concerns.
Maintains working knowledge of assigned facility complexity and stays abreast of industry trends related to the facility/sport program.
Collaborate with coaches and staff pertaining to the facilities to ensure all facility needs are met.
Provide information to coaches and staff to explain/clarify problems, issues or requests.
Supervise direct reports that include the Athletic Department's mail services specialist and the shipping and receiving coordinator, which also is responsible for the Department's inventory control.
Oversee University vehicles leased from Transportation Services for the use by Athletic Plant Maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Early Interventionist provides direct developmental therapy services in a home or community-based environment and/or virtually to children up to three years of age through a contract with the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Associate's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies (child development), Early Intervention, Deaf Education or Visual Disabilities, Special Education K-12, Elementary Education, Communication Disorders or related field. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of documented experience working with children with disabilities 0-5 years of age and their families; OR Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of documented experience working with children with disabilities 0-5 years of age and their families. Must have a valid Driver's License and car insurance. Child safety registry searches will be conducted (Required by TEIS).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability and skill to provide assessment and treatment services to children with autism or related disorders.
Knowledge of basic communication principles and parameters.
Skilled in implementing clinical practices of speech-language pathology, and attitudes of sensitivity to the needs of clients as members of larger familial, cultural, linguistic, and social systems.

Implement programs services with children and families using knowledge and strategies of Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGRBI).

Develops child-specific program objectives to support Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals utilizing information gained from assessments.
Manage patient charts including session documentation, correspondence, records request, letters to other professionals, and maintain files in compliance with licensure regulations.
Establishes and maintains collaboration with other professionals providing services for PLC clients.
Attends PLC professional meetings; participates in activities to remain current with evidence-based practice needed for programming and to maintain grant requirements.
Travel to home and community sites to provide services as indicated on the children's IFSP.
