* Six months to one year of student supervision experience

The Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Director of Student Union Programs.

* Develops student leadership training to prepare students in SUAAB to manage a full schedule of programs.
* Supervises and oversees the selection, training, development, and advising of programming board student leaders, and numerous volunteers.
* Assists in creating and implementing a strategic plan and conducting student staff evaluations.
* Demonstrates an openness to connect with students and campus/community partners to increase collaboration and engagement.
* Maintains communications and relationships with UT Dallas and DFW community, outside vendors, talent, agents, and corporations on behalf of the university.

Purpose
Responsible for advising students and managing a portfolio of education abroad programs. Duties include promoting programs, participant recruitment, application review and selection, development/execution of pre-departure and re-entry sessions, coordination with domestic and international partners, and associated administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of exchange and affiliate programs and ensure the completion of administrative processes associated with the successful delivery of these programs. Build and maintain professional relationships with key constituents. Serve as the primary contact for students and domestic and international providers/partners, and as a liaison to academic advisors and campus offices regarding education abroad programs and policies. Manage and evaluate existing education abroad program offerings in countries as assigned. Actively contribute to the review of reciprocal exchanges and affiliated programs. Identify and develop new reciprocal exchange and affiliated programs based on the needs of students and/or academic partners on campus. Recruit, advise, admit, and prepare students for assigned programs. Provide students with appropriate academic and program advising. Design and execute information sessions, pre-departure orientations, and returnee sessions individually or as a team.
* Support and contribute to the promotion of programs relevant to a cluster of academic units including, but not limited to: reciprocal exchange, affiliated, faculty-led and internship/experiential. Work directly with assigned academic units to successfully advise students in those units, integrate education abroad into academic degree plans, develop a strong understanding of the academic structure of degree plans and departmental goals related to internationalization, identify opportunities for academic collaborations, and conduct activities supporting mutual goals.
* Ensure the completion of administrative processes associated with the functions above, either directly or through the supervision of student employees. Participate in staff meetings, special projects, and committees, including office-wide strategic planning and policy development. Collaborate on the processing of academic credit and other associated administrative tasks. Contribute as needed to help manage student incidents abroad in collaboration with Education Abroad leadership and Texas Global's Global Risk and Safety team.
* Work independently and in collaboration with Texas Global's Marketing and Communications team and assistant directors to develop marketing materials for fairs, tabling opportunities, events, presentations, and poster events, especially to support mobility to programs in assigned portfolio.
Required Qualifications
Demonstration in application materials and interview of the following competencies typically acquired through a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or a master's degree and one year of relevant experience: Experience developing or managing programs or projects and working well in a team environment. Experience working with college students or similar populations. Exhibit professional demeanor in all activities and interactions, focusing on strong interpersonal/intercultural communication skills. Effective problem-solving skills and quality decision-making; results-oriented; strong organizational abilities; demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities effectively; Strong customer focus, including students, faculty, staff, and external partners; and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. Knowledge of student health, safety, and security issues in study abroad programs. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Academic degree in higher education/international education or a relevant discipline and experience working in a higher education context. Experience advising and coordinating exchange, affiliated, faculty-led, internships, or experiential programs abroad. Significant experience living, studying, or working abroad. Demonstrated regional expertise, especially in Asia, Middle East, Africa, and/or Latin America. Proven knowledge and ability in marketing/outreach. Proficiency in a foreign language.
Salary Range

Coordinate with CNS Undergraduate Education Business Office for timely processing of financial transactions, reimbursements, and account transfers. Support ExL grant administration, including expense tracking and compliance with sponsor and university requirements.
Student Financials Support: Process student fee bills and payments, including for specialized programs such as CNS Abroad and the High School Summer Research Academy. Communicate with students regarding payment deadlines and financial requirements. Support scholarship and award administration for over 200 recipients each year, ensuring accuracy and compliance with university policies.
Event, Logistics & Travel Coordination: Organize and support events and meetings, including planning, space reservations, catering, advertising, and contract processing. Coordinate faculty and student travel for programs, field trips, and international initiatives, including RTAs, PIFs, vendor payments, and reimbursements. Maintain records for current and past events and travel activities.
Policy Support & Implementation: Serve as a resource for UT and grant policy compliance related to ExL operations. Assist with contract processing and ensure agreements meet university and sponsor requirements.
Experiential Learning Team Engagement: Engage deeply as a staff member of the innovative CNS Office of Experiential Learning (ExL) team, participating in team meetings, events, special projects, communications, and day-to-day operations of the ExL office. Required Qualifications

Purpose
The Academic Program Coordinator supports the McCombs Success Scholars (MSS) program through academic advising, student persistence initiatives, and program coordination. This role is integral to fostering the success of first-generation and high-financial-need business students, with a focus on community, belonging, and academic progress. Purpose
The Student Program Coordinator will develop and coordinate student recruitment strategies that support the Canfield Business Honors Program (Canfield BHP) goals, from coordinating admissions processes and reviewing applicant files to advising prospective students on program options.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of staff contact for prospective freshmen, internal and external transfer students, and families regarding admission requirements, programs of study, student-related services, and other opportunities for students at large and small-scale admissions events hosted by Canfield Business Honors, the McCombs School of Business and the Office of Admissions when appropriate. Coordinate and conduct recruitment programs and events across Texas and out of state to promote Canfield Business Honors and its specialized dual degree programs (Texas CSB, Plan II, and Texas ECB) for the purpose of creating highly-selective and talented student enrollment. Identify and attend regional and national conferences to promote Canfield Business Honors to high school students interested in business.
* In coordination with the Director of Enrollment Management, conduct admitted student events across Texas, out of state, and virtually to promote Canfield Business Honors and its specialized dual degree programs (Texas CSB, Plan II, and Texas ECB). Coordinate and execute Discover Canfield Business Honors, a day-long event for 200+ admitted students and their families.
* Hire, train, and manage student recruitment team and its initiatives. Manage weekly prospective student information sessions for high school students and semesterly sophomore admissions information sessions. Serve as the primary liaison between the Canfield recruitment team and the BBA Outreach offices for joint outreach efforts. Purpose
The Canfield Business Honors Program Coordinator will provide student services, advising, and program development activities for the Canfield Business Honors Program. Specific attention will be placed on programs and advising services for first year students and at-risk populations in the Canfield Business Honors Program. This position will develop and implement academic and developmental programs to promote community and leadership as well as assist the program in setting, objectively measuring, and assessing strategic goals.

Assist with the peer mentor program and Freshman Leadership Kickoff.
* Oversee the Business Honors retention process and organize programs for student success such as Supplemental Instruction, academic boot camps, and individualized academic counseling.
* Assist with Canfield BHP sponsored student groups and programs associated with each group.
* Participate in Canfield BHP admissions process by reading applications and attending recruiting events as needed.
* Assist Assistant Director with designing measures and maintaining databases to evaluate student engagement and college-to-career outcomes. Acquire and maintain comparative data from peer and aspirational programs/schools. Track and analyze program effectiveness to advance strategic initiatives.

Successful completion of a formal Community Health Worker training program from a college or other educational institution.
State of Texas Promotor(a)/ Community Health Worker certification, with renewal as needed.
Basic computer knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook/Internet browsing, etc.).
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year related experience is required.
Two (2) years of related experience is preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Community Engagement & Outreach
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Claudia Satizabal, and the SAHMS team to identify social and structural factors affecting participation.
Conduct outreach and recruitment, including home visits to provide study information.
Participate in the preparation of home assessment visits, obtain informed consent, and conduct core questionnaires as needed.
Establish trusting relationships with community members and study participants.
Participant Support & Health Education
Provide culturally sensitive counseling and education, particularly for individuals newly diagnosed with health conditions relevant to the study.
Identify individual or community health concerns and connect participants with appropriate social or health resources.
Help participants improve health literacy, self-care practices, and study engagement.
Navigation & Advocacy
Assist participants in accessing healthcare and social services and help overcome logistical or structural barriers to care and participation.
Provide appointment reminders and follow up on next steps in the research process.
Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for participants throughout the study.
Communication & Team Collaboration
Offer insights to the research team about participants' lived experiences and contextual factors affecting health and engagement.
Attend regular team meetings and contribute to study planning and progress discussions.
Uphold participant confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and ethical standards in all communications.
Other Duties as Assigned
Support additional research-related tasks or community initiatives as needed.
