Summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature and interpret results in the patient record system. Distinguish between normal and abnormal test results.

Position Summary:
Assists in the day-to-day operations of the laboratory with regard to histology specimen processing. Processes and prepares patient tissue according to department procedures using a wide range and depth of technical and specialized knowledge. Participates in laboratory operations as needed. Supports continuous improvement of laboratory services to ensure high quality and timely pathology for quality diagnosis.

1. Performs tissue processing, embedding in paraffin, and cutting, sectioning, staining, and mounting on slides for interpretation by a pathologist.

Required Qualifications
Studies in design or fabrication-based curriculum, or an allied field (such as an artist practice, product design, carpentry, etc.). Experience in fabrication and the maintenance of analog and digital fabrication equipment. Demonstrated ability to teach and train others the knowledge and skills required to use tools, materials, and techniques safely and effectively to with wood and a variety of other materials. Position Summary:
Responsible for performing testing and maintaining data related to audiology services. May perform automated hearing screenings, and first follow-up screenings, for infants born at Memorial Hermann Hospital or care for UT Physicians patients in clinic as directed by supervising audiologist.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a related science field or Molecular Genetic Technology or successful completion of a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) accredited Clinical Laboratory Science/Molecular Genetic Technology accredited program. Preferred: Master's Degree or Doctorate in a related science field.
Required Experience: Eight years of experience in a clinical laboratory compliance and operations to include three years of lead or supervisory experience. Six years experience in clinical laboratory compliance and operations to include three years of lead or supervisory experience with Master's degree. Four years of experience in a clinical laboratory compliance and operations to include three years of lead or supervisory experience with Doctorate degree. Two years of laboratory experience required may be substituted for required certification.
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources. The Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences is seeking a highly motivated Lab Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day functions of our dynamic and expanding academic research center. This role is central to ensuring efficient laboratory operations and supporting the cutting-edge research of our faculty, staff, and trainees.
Working closely with Center leadership and faculty, the Lab Operations Coordinator will provide comprehensive technical and operational support across a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Research Equipment Management: Coordinate procurement, delivery, operation, optimization, and oversight of shared research instrumentation.
Technical Staff Oversight: Supervise and train center technical staff to ensure high-quality support for center-wide activities.
Training & User Support: Provide training to faculty, staff, and research trainees on complex research instrumentation; manage scheduling systems for shared equipment.
Knowledge & Resource Management: Maintain and update the Center's SharePoint pages to provide clear and accessible information on equipment and technical support.
Laboratory Support & Logistics: Assist the Center Manager with new laboratory startups, renovations, and events, including planning, procurement, and logistical coordination.
