The lab has developed methods to decipher gene cis-regulatory mechanisms from transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics and three-dimensional (3D) chromatin interaction perspectives.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Research Intern to join our dynamic, hybrid, and highly collaborative lab. This computational genomics candidate is expected to leverage the single-cell/bulk-cell multi-omics data, spatial omics data, and image data to reveal the cancer-specific mechanism that underlies the differential efficacies and toxicities of treatment across patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering biological, clinically important and methodologically challenging problems by innovating cutting-edge statistical models and computational methods.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
1. Solid training in Statistics/Mathematics:
Past course or research training in statistics, including but not limited to mathematical statistics, statistical inference, and linear regression.
2. Strong computational skills:
* Proficient in programming languages R, Python, and Shell, has extensive usage of high-performance computing environments on Linux servers, and knows how to submit batch-run jobs.
* Experienced in processing and analyzing bulk/single-cell genomic data or spatial omics data or image data.
* Experienced in developing computational tools, such as R package, Python module, interactive webpage, and computational pipelines.
* Ability to conduct highly organized and reproducible research.
3. Strong communication, writing, and collaboration ability. Publication(s) and manuscript(s) under review are recommended to demonstrate academic writing ability.

Purpose
The Public Health Program is accepting applications for full-time and part-time Instructional Support Specialist (ISS) positions to support upper-division courses in the public health core curriculum and other courses. The core courses include Introduction to Epidemiology, Global Health, Environmental Health, and Health Behavior Theory and Practice.
Successful applicants will have the training, education, experience and/or potential to assist with teaching undergraduate public health majors in the core disciplines of public health. In addition, ideal candidates have requisite knowledge and skills (subject matter expertise, understanding of theory, quantitative skills, etc.) to support students and faculty.
Positions are contingent on department need and budgetary considerations.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include assisting public health faculty with the following:
Preparation and grading of homework assignments, quizzes, exams, papers, and/or other assignments.
Lead activities, demonstrations, discussions, and/or pre-exam review sessions. Hold regularly assigned walk-in office hours, tutoring students on the assigned subject matter.
Provide course-based administrative assistance to the Instructor of Record, including grade reporting, maintenance of the course web site, and proctoring scheduled and make-up exams
Assist with supporting students with university-approved accommodations (military, athletes, Disability & Access).
Upon conclusion of the last day of class, ISS duties can include professional development activities, participation in trainings, preparation for the next semester of classes, etc.

Purpose
The Complex Coordinator is a full-time, live-on supervisory staff member within University Housing and Dining (UHD), who manages one or more of our apartment or residence hall complexes. Responsible for all community/complex operations and providing a comprehensive academic program of leadership and management for housing students.
Responsibilities
* Supervision: May directly supervise Community/Resident Assistants, hourly Desk Assistants, Graduate Assistant, and/or full-time Administrative/Associate Assistant during the academic year. Purpose
This Career Consultant/Coach position will join the Career Education and Coaching team within McCombs Career Management & Corporate Relations (CMCR). The primary goal is to provide one-on-one career coaching, targeted career programming/resources, and career education to a variety of McCombs students.

Texas Athletic Performance, Baseball/Softball is seeking a qualified and growth-minded part-time Office Assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year. Education and Experience
