Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment. This position works from an office but may also be on construction job sites, with the various conditions associated with that work. Hazards include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, or exposure to chemicals. SAFETY TWU promotes a safe working environment. Employees are responsible for completing assigned tasks safely and efficiently, and supervisors are responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment. Employees must report any unsafe work conditions or practices, as well as any near-miss incidents, to their supervisor and Risk Management. Supervisors and employees should ensure that injury/accident reports are submitted to the Office of Human Resources and Risk Management within 24 hours of the incident. Qualifications Education/Certification/Experience: Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the council for higher education accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Major course work in computer science preferred. Each year of experience working with computers and computer software may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university on a year for year basis.
