Collects, reports, and documents data related to patient needs/emergencies and unusual patient and family behavior. * Demonstrates knowledge and skills to interpret and respond to patient data and hemodynamic responses during pre, intra and post Cath and EP procedures. * Performs and reports point of care testing (POCT). * Provides and maintains a clean, safe environment and performs and/or assists others to perform proper aseptic and sterile technique, isolation procedures and infection control measures. * May support physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular ailments with the use of a catheter determined by credentials. Radiology Specialized Functions: * Operates computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images. * Practices proper entries and records on Radiology Information System, Cardiac Catheterization System, and Hospital Information System * Monitors radiation exposure including examination of the lead aprons for the department dependent on specialty. * Practices safety measures in radiography and Environment of Care dependent on specialty.
