Details Manage and administer Professional and Continuing Education's (PACE) department-wide personnel functions and address human resources issues including the development and administration of personnel policies and procedures, professional development and training activities for employees.
Manage and administer employee recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes, performance management process, and employee leaves; prepare supporting documents, and monitor/track as needed. In conjunction with supervisors and PACE leadership team, plan and implement organizational development, staffing plan and structure, position functions, and salary structure. Initiate and/or approve personnel actions and maintain confidential files and department protocols; monitor PTO liability, confirm and approve PACE Chief Officer's direct reports time off in PeopleSoft, oversee and manage flex scheduling. Determine KPIs; compile, build, track, analyze and provide HR metrics data reports. Train, coach and provide guidance and information to supervisors/managers and employees on personnel related issues, ensuring compliance with UVM HR policies and procedures and Union contracts. Direct department office equipment purchases, and staff moves; negotiate agreements with vendors. Research, plan and administer organizational development/training program and staff recognition; participate on department organizational culture and inclusion committee, and Associate Management team. Plan and implement succession planning and talent management strategies to ensure a robust and sustainable workforce. Oversee the hiring of part-time employees and ensure policies and protocols are followed; supervise part-time office employees, provide guidance and assign work tasks. Functionally supervise PACE staff performing facility and recruitment coordination; perform other duties as assigned. Reports to Director, Finance & Human Resources.

The Director of the School plans, directs, and supervises the instructional and co-curricular program, including lectures, films, concerts, and social events. They oversee the MA and DML programs, the summer graduate program in Buenos Aires, and provide input for the graduate program at the Schools Abroad.

The Director spends the summer in full-time residence on the Vermont campus, where they oversee the instructional and co-curricular program and teach one organized course, if time allows. During the academic year, the Director works part-time to plan the curriculum, hire faculty and summer staff, evaluate and publicize the program, recruit students, and oversee the admissions process in collaboration with the Assistant Director.
The initial appointment is for three years. Directors submit an annual report in the fall of each year summarizing School performance for the summer, outlining goals for the next year, and articulating a vision for the School.

A Naturopathic doctor can now be a patient's primary care physician who can prescribe pharmaceutical drugs, some surgical procedures and natural medical options for the treatment of disease. This course will cover the historical context, scientific background, training, scope of practice, regulation, appropriate use and therapies utilized in naturopathic medicine.
Qualifications:

Core Responsibilities
Launders all Dining Services' uniforms & linen.
Performs light maintenance and cleaning of equipment (must be at least 18 years of age).
Cleans dryer vents.
Reports any equipment problems to supervisor.
Interacts appropriately with the customer.
Answers students questions in a polite, courteous manner.
Hours are subject to change.
Performs other duties as assigned to assist the department in obtaining and maintaining its mission.
Requirements
Education & Training: High school diploma preferred, must have reading skills for using chemicals to remove stains and spots.
Experience: Previous experience with cleaning and stain removal helpful but not required.
Knowledge: Will be trained on use of various products for stain removal and washing techniques for various fabrics.
Other: Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength and follow simple oral instructions. Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisors, fellow workers, students and the rest of the College staff. Ability to follow a schedule. May be asked to work additional hours. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, as well as bend and reach frequently. Must have the ability to lift 20-30 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to push and pull up to 100 lbs. frequently.

The Ski Area Associate provides all aspects of functions to support mountain operations at the Middlebury College Ski Areas at all times providing friendly and professional customer assistance. This is considered a part time non benefits eligible non-exempt position.
Primary responsibilities include the operation of snow making equipment during the ski season.
Although not the primary responsibility, the position may be called upon, from time to time, to perform associated Ski Area operations work at the Snow Bowl and Rikert as requested including, but not limited to: supporting base lodge operations, lift operations, snow removal, event set-up and cleanup, truck loading and unloading, and trash/debris removal.
