Position Summary The Application Programmer Analyst is responsible for supporting administrative systems by providing technical support, training, and guidance to departments and end-users, as well as performing system administration, configuration, and programming tasks. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications. Responsibilities * Provide technical and/or functional administration for several enterprise applications, including but not limited to Ellucian Colleague, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and Salto door access. * Evaluate, design, test, and implement programming/scripting solutions to enhance application functionality. * Integrate applications with Ellucian Colleague following best practices as documented by vendors and adhering to North Park's information security policies and procedures. * Train IT colleagues and other institutional personnel in proper application usage and security. * Document decisions, changes, and customizations using appropriate systems in IT. * Communicate about forthcoming updates to systems and applications in a timely manner to IT colleagues and institutional personnel. * Manage access control for assigned systems and applications according to principle of least privilege.
