The Customer Requisition to Payment Manager is responsible for overseeing the Shared Environment Customer Requisition to Payment (CR2P) team, which handles Workday management of customer contracts, billing schedules, invoicing, and accounts receivables management. This role plays a critical part in centralizing and standardizing CR2P across all departments in SoM, driving process improvements, and ensuring accurate revenue reporting as per UW policies and procedures.
The Customer Requisition to Payment Manager will report directly to the Shared Environment Director and is responsible for supervising Shared Environment supervisors. This person will also serve as departmental liaison between UW central finance offices and other stakeholders. It demands strong personal initiative, problem-solving abilities, as well as advanced interpersonal skills for effective communication with faculty, academic staff, employees, and the public.
This role is critical in ensuring School of Medicine (SoM) compliance with University of Washington, State, and funding agency policies and procedures across the full Customer Requisition to Payment (CR2P) lifecycle. The Customer Requisition to Payment Manager supports accurate revenue recognition and reporting, which improves operational efficiency and reduces financial and audit risk.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES**
**Management of Customer Requisition to Payment (CR2P) Program (60%)**
+ Oversee the SE supervisors and provide direct support in training and standardization of CR2P transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions across the School of Medicine.
+ Ensure all transactions comply with policies and regulations from the University of Washington, State, funding agencies, and the School of Medicine as well as ensure that relevant documentation is complete and accessible.
+ Review and standardize the training materials developed and maintained by the SE supervisors to ensure alignment of CR2P training and best practices.
+ Utilize reporting tools to monitor transactions to ensure they are fully processed and approved in a timely manner maintaining accountability and efficiency.
+ Perform analysis of transaction volumes and utilize the findings and trends to balance workload distribution across the team.
+ Drive process improvement initiatives in all CR2P tasks including billing schedules, invoicing, compliance review, customer service ticketing, accounts receivable, and more.
+ Report on data and trends to ensure relevant information is shared throughout the CR2P team.
+ Monitor and report on team-wide key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational effectiveness and highlight opportunities for training, support, or recognition. Share findings with SE supervisors and Director to inform staff development efforts and guide staffing recommendations.
+ Ensure all record retention practices adhere to UW policies and Washington State laws, optimizing both efficiency and audit readiness.
**Consultation and Stakeholder Engagement (25%)**
+ Serve as a liaison between SE supervisors, departmental stakeholders, dean's office business unit partners, central finance offices, and SE leadership to resolve escalated issues and ensure service quality in the CR2P program.
+ Act as a subject matter expert for CR2P systems, procedures, contacts, and policies.
+ Assist users with escalated requests that are highly technical and complex related to overdue balances, customer contracts, billing, and receivables.
+ Periodically run reports on ad-hoc banking transactions by SoM departments and analyze outliers to identify if Workday invoicing can be used to record such revenues.
+ Coordinate with SoM departments on overdue balances and work with UW central finance offices as needed to resolve aged receivables.
+ Communicate policy updates to relevant stakeholders to promote awareness and ensure compliance.
+ Collect and evaluate stakeholder input on the customer requisition process experience to continually review and refine best practices. Communicate updated procedures to SE supervisors and oversee the updates of their training materials.
+ Facilitate the customer requisition systems' onboarding process by setting up access and accounts for new hires, ensuring a smooth start for staff within SoM.
+ Provide education and guidance to department users on best practices and conduct regular drop-in or formal training sessions.
+ Maintain strong, effective relationships with the end users, UW central finance offices, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure cohesive collaboration and mutual understanding.
+ Attend meetings with other units in SoM and UW to align procedures, goals, and strategic initiatives, promoting interdepartmental teamwork and cooperation.
+ Act as communication bridge between UW central finance staff and end-users in SoM departments when there is a change in process, ensuring clarity and minimizing inefficiencies that could impact operations or workflows. This may include change management, conducting office hours, etc.
**Team Management and Development (15%)**
+ Supervise a team of SE supervisors, who supervise teams of SE specialists.
+ Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations of direct reports.
+ Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for new supervisors.
+ Participate in recruitment activities, including reviewing resumes, participating in interviews, and contributing to the selection process of CR2P roles to contribute to team cohesion and performance.
+ Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
+ Act as backup to the supervisors by overseeing the team, approving timesheets, managing absence requests, and ensuring smooth operations in the supervisor's absence.
+ Provide input and feedback for personnel evaluations and the annual review process for specialists.
+ Provide timely and actionable feedback to new and existing employees to foster their growth and performance. Consult Human Resources to engage in the corrective action process as necessary.
+ Connect supervisors with Human Resources to engage in performance management of SE specialists as needed.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
+ Four to five years of experience in progressively responsible experience in customer requisitions and administrative related processes.
+ A track record of successfully managing multiple projects and delivering projects on schedule.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences. Ability to lead meetings, give presentations, work with facts and be able to tell a story with numbers.
+ Demonstrated success in building and sustaining positive customer and other relationships.
+ Commitment to working within an organizational framework of continuous process improvement.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

The position is a full-time, 12-months per year, academic position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level without tenure (WOT), due to funding. The anticipated start date for the position is July 1, 2026. Assistant professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
Harborview Medical Center is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center, servicing the greater 5-state areas of Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho (WWAMI). The Section of Urology at Harborview Medical Center has an established and high-volume reconstructive urology practice, a large clinical population from the WWAMI Region, active research programs, and an extremely strong academic urology faculty. Harborview is home to the WWAMI Institute for Simulation in Healthcare (WISH) and the Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center (HIPRC).
The base salary range for this position will be: $26,334 per month to $35,000 per month ($316,008 - $420,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. The Office of Research and Graduate Education (RGE) in the School of Medicine (SoM) promotes and facilitates research, teaching and science training within the UW Medicine community. We do so by building and enhancing infrastructure, providing UW Medicine and University leadership with strategic information and analysis, fostering an open and collaborative environment, streamlining processes, and maximizing opportunities for achievements in research and education.
Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, the Senior Graduate Education Specialist is independently responsible for developing and delivering training and professional development content for workshops and seminars designed to support the research trainee community, as well as provide resources and guidance to graduate program faculty leadership and advisors. This position partners with SoM and interdisciplinary graduate programs to provide resources and guidance in areas related to research education and training for both graduate students and research postdoctoral scholars, including professional development; curriculum and handbooks; recruitment and admissions; and scholarships and fellowships. This role partners closely with the other members of the Administrative Services Unit, particularly the Senior Outreach Specialist, on planning and executing education-related workshops and school-wide events such as the PhD hooding ceremony and the research mentor education program. Strong organizational and leadership skills are required to manage relationships, deadlines and competing priorities.
This position has the lead responsibility within RGE for partnering with the Associate Dean for Research Education and Training and other faculty leaders and administrative directors to provide biomedical research training resources appropriate for both graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. The Senior Graduate Education Specialist must exercise independent judgement and ownership of managing fellowship and scholarship allocations and notifications; supporting committees, councils, and recurring stakeholder meetings; and supporting student organizations. The scope of this position is UW wide, partnering and collaborating with Public Health, Engineering, other UW Health Sciences schools, UW Bothell Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Program, and with regional partner institutions (e.g., Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Allen Institute, Gonzaga University, Seattle Children's Research Institute, others).
UW is challenged in offering career development programming for over 1,300 research trainees at the graduate and postdoctoral levels. The SoM employs over 400 postdocs in research-intensive roles and enrolls approximately 900 graduate students in our biomedical PhD programs. This is a mission-driven staff position, and requires a skilled, knowledgeable, and motivated individual to plan, implement and adapt events and services based on results and feedback. Faculty leaders are committed to and supportive of these programs.
By improving the readiness of research trainees for careers in science RGE is increasing SoM's success in training and placing the next generation of research scientists in academia, teaching, and government, which in turn increases interest in our graduate programs and postdoctoral opportunities and attracts high-achieving faculty researchers. Additional expected impacts include improved communication among trainees and faculty mentors and between international trainees and their mentors, a more attractive workplace for high-performing trainees, better resources for department and program managers to complement their formal training programs, enhanced relationships between the SoM and private sector business partners, and improved collaborative capacity overall within and among research labs and departments.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Program Management (75%)**
+ Plan and implement workshop and seminar content for the SoM's research trainee community, encompassing programs such as the Bioscience Career Seminar Series, Inclusive Leadership Workshop, Future Faculty Fellows, Science Teaching Experience Program (STEP).
+ Coordinates closely with the team to support large school-wide events honoring research trainees such as the PhD Welcome Event, PhD Hooding Ceremony, and fellowship receptions.
+ Works closely with the Associate Dean for Research Education and Training and Director of Research and Graduate Education to implement strategies that enhance infrastructure, provide data and analysis, foster collaboration, streamline processes, and maximize opportunities for the achievements PhD graduate students and research postdoctoral scholars and fellows.
+ Works closely with the Senior Outreach Specialist and the Director of Research Mentor Education to plan and implement the Research Mentor Education program throughout the academic year.
+ Works closely with the Data and Analytics Unit on the development and presentation of new metrics and reporting resources to programs and department leaders related to the support and development of research trainees.
+ Works closely with the Director and Associate Director to strategize support and infrastructure to directors and administrators of SoM institutional training grants.
+ Works closely with the Director to provide detailed and easily accessible guidance on compliant student employment best practices, policies and procedures.
+ Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with PhD programs' faculty Graduate Program Coordinators (GPCs) and staff Graduate Program Advisor (GPAs) to provide resources in support of each program's goals.
+ Conducts surveys and gathers important information required for strategic planning and analysis at both the SoM and departmental levels.
+ Supports student organization and affiliate group facilitators in meeting their community building goals through guidance, relationship management, and resources.
+ Represents SoM at school and campus-wide meetings and processes related to graduate programs and research postdoctoral scholars.
**Budget and Financial Responsibilities (10%)**
+ Monitor and track budgets for assigned programs.
+ Work with the Administrative Manager to closely manage financial allocations of school-wide scholarships and fellowships while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
+ Monitor student organization activities for compliance with financial requirements.
+ Make budget recommendations to leadership related to resources and awards provided to research trainees.
**Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (10%)**
+ Works closely with the Senior Outreach Specialist to develop internal communications to research trainees and mentors.
+ Partner with department leadership and Alumni Association teams on strategic engagement of graduating students to build a strong PhD alumni community.
+ Develop and refine career development on-demand resources for postdoctoral trainees.
+ Create and adapt guides and materials for prospective students, new student orientation, graduating students, and alumni.
+ Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding education and training resources and services.
**Other duties (5%)**
+ Administratively support various committees including Graduate Program Coordinators (GPCs), Graduate Program Advisors (GPAs), Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program directors, and T32 peer networks.
+ Assure standard operating procedures are accurate, current, and utilized.
+ Routinely provide backup to other team members, including the Senior Outreach Specialist, Assistant to the Vice Dean, and Administrative Services Unit Manager as needed.
+ Serve as lead staff within the Office of Research and Graduate Education for ad hoc postdoctoral scholar and graduate education support needs.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

Located in North Seattle, the new facility features 75 long-term civil commitment adult psychiatry beds, 25 geriatric psychiatry beds, 50 medical/surgical beds focused on patients with psychiatric comorbidities, and a state-of-the-art neuromodulation program. It also houses an interdisciplinary training and workforce development program focused on preparing and supporting the next generation of behavioral health providers for Washington State. The six-story building is a beautiful place to work with lots of windows, natural lighting and open-concept spaces and offers amenities including a new kitchen and dining area for patients, staff and visitors.
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Evaluate patients who are detained for involuntary behavioral health treatment at UW Medical Center and are scheduled for King County ITA Court
+ Complete clinical and legal petitions/documentation in the required timelines
+ Represent UW Medical Center at King County ITA Court, including testifying as an expert witness in ITA court hearings and also serving as proxy witness
+ Act as a resource for questions regarding the ITA process and involuntary behavioral health treatment
+ Coordinate with the assigned prosecuting attorney and other involved court parties to support the patient's treatment plan and to support successful testimony in ITA court
+ Attend treatment team, utilization review, quality improvement and other meetings as requested/required. Attend scheduled ITA stakeholder meetings

**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Advanced Degree as required by specialty
+ Licensed as a psychologist, advanced registered nurse practitioner, mental health counselor or independent clinical social worker in the State of Washington
+ 2-5 years of recent experience working with acutely ill psychiatric patients specifically involving evaluation of psychiatric safety, level of function, psychiatric diagnoses, and medications
+ Two years of recent experience working in a hospital setting is preferred
+ Expertise with the Washington Involuntary Treatment Act (RCW 71.05)

The TS Instructor will play a critical role in guiding and supporting students as they develop the academic skills, intellectual curiosity, and scholarly confidence needed to thrive at the University of Washington. This position involves designing and delivering rigorous, college-preparatory coursework while fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of advanced learners.
Key responsibilities include developing and teaching courses that emphasize critical thinking, academic writing, and quantitative reasoning; collaborating with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences; and assessing student progress toward matriculation to the university with a focus on academic readiness.
The instructor will actively support student advising by providing academic coaching, mentorship, and guidance as students navigate the transition into college life. They will also collaborate closely with Transition School staff, including fellow instructors and the Head of School, to support student development and make informed recommendations regarding advancement to the Early Entrance Program (EEP).
This is a temporary, full-time position. Direct teaching and academic coaching occur from January 5 through June 30. TS staff work according to the university's operating schedule, including during school breaks and summer months. The student-to-teacher ratio is 20:1, with classes held four days per week.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Reporting to the Head of School, the English Instructor will have the following responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning: Planning, Instruction & Assessment:
+ Design course outcomes appropriate to TS program's purpose in providing academically accelerated, college preparatory learning experiences for students during TS Launch, Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters in consultation with the Head of School.

The Department is recognized as an international leader in developing, testing, and implementing Collaborative Care, an integrated care model increasingly seen as a solution for population-based mental health care. The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences within the UW School of Medicine currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Revenue Manager.
The Clinical Revenue Manager position will play an integral role in managing the $42M (and growing) clinical portfolio of the department, supporting the department's clinical contracts, managing clinical faculty deployment and productivity tracking, and providing support to the department financial officer and Child and Adolescent division administrator.
This position will be responsible for executive level analyses and reporting necessary for managing the clinical portfolios within the Department, which spans 2 practice plans and 5 Seattle-area hospitals. This position will be responsible for managing and understanding the complexities of multiple clinical settings including 3 different inpatient and 17+ different ambulatory sites as well as different provider types (MDs, PhDs, APPs). The position will maintain a close and highly responsive relationship with day-to-day activities and responsibilities of the associate directors, navigating a comprehensive range of activities, managing shifting priorities with a high level of professional discretion and independent judgement. It is critical that the position has a high level of analytical and comprehension skills, as this position will be required to work independently in compiling information and data from a variety of internal and external entities for on-going assignments and special projects. The UW Medicine - Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology in Seattle, WA has a fantastic Medical Lab Courier opportunity with our Reference Laboratory Services (RLS) Team. Medical Lab Couriers play a critical role in maintaining a strong data-driven digital chain of custody for UWMC specimens. We pick up and deliver specimens and supplies for client locations within territory that runs from Vancouver, WA to Bellingham, WA. We operate 7 days per week from 6:15 AM to 2:30 AM, on 22 different routes from 3 locations - UWMC Montlake Campus, Our Northgate Office complex, and our Renton Central Lab location.
This is a full-time (100%) position for what we call our Route 5. This route covers territory between Seattle and Bellingham along the I-5 corridor from Monday to Friday.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DLMP) is undergoing restructuring that may impact all current route designs over the next 12 to 36 months.
This role's current route may be revised as part of that process. Flexibility and adaptability will be essential as operational needs evolve.

We have an outstanding opportunity for a UWPD Quartermaster and Logistics Specialist to administer, facilitate and manage all UWPD non-IT equipment and supplies in support of Police and Public Safety operations. The incumbent will possess a working knowledge of all specialized equipment and will manage the budget and maintain equipment records including inventory of uniforms related to equipment and equipment inventory in compliance with standards set by the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
The Quartermaster and Logistics Specialist serves as the key specialist in the handling of all department inventory and is responsible for the space considerations for patrol operations. Space considerations include responsibility for:
• Specialized equipment and space for evidence collection
• Specialized equipment and space for interview of witnesses and suspects
• Specialized equipment to temporarily secure and account for prisoners in a modern temporary holding facility within the police department.
• Operate, maintain and responsible for satellite office operations within Husky Stadium
The Quartermaster will be responsible for ensuring that all UWPD personnel have the uniforms and equipment appropriate for their positions and will ensure that the UWPD station is equipped with all necessary supplies; they will also track the issuance of such items to maintain accountability.
The Quartermaster will also be responsible for managing property brought into the police station including items of evidence, abandoned property, found property and property in safekeeping. In general, abandoned property, found property and property in safekeeping. The incumbent will implement policies specific to the handling of property in accordance with CALEA standards. The incumbent will be responsible for inventory, control of property and release of property.
The incumbent will be responsible for the purchase of equipment as related to the duties of a Quartermaster.
The incumbent will perform routine inspection of all UWPD non-IT equipment and supplies and will be responsible for regular inspections of the Police Department facility and grounds and arrange for technical inspections and certifications related to the building's systems and equipment. Inspections will also focus on preventing security breaches to the building as well as some routine maintenance non-technical tasks. The incumbent will create work orders and coordinate all non-IT work in the police facility in accordance with specific state regulations related to the security of Criminal Justice Information Systems. The incumbent will implement polices related to building operations in coordination with the Deputy Chief of Police and with Environmental Health and Safety. The incumbent will represent UWPD at UW EH&S safety committee meetings. The incumbent will work with the Deputy Chief for long-term planning of facility operations and will be responsible for the operation of satellite UWPD facilities including the Husky stadium office and other satellite facilities as they are developed.

Duties & Responsibilities
Quartermaster Responsibilities: - Primary Functions - 50%
• Assists in maintaining operational readiness for personnel and vehicles.
• Orders, issues and inventories uniforms and standard issue equipment for all the divisions within the police department. Collects and disposes of un-serviceable uniforms and equipment.
• Receives, inspects, and maintains inventory of Department equipment, supplies, and uniforms by filing inventory data and tracking expiration/replacement dates of equipment.
• Coordinates vehicle repairs with UW Fleet Services personnel.
• Researches equipment related to police services, evaluates cost and durability of the same and makes recommendations to management.
• Participates in the preparation of bid proposals and makes purchase recommendations.
• Coordinates and schedules repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies.
• Implements policies related to equipment purchasing, use and disposable as well as building operations in coordination with the Deputy Chief and UW EH&S.
• Manages procurement of all equipment.
• Assists with the preparation, set-up, and recovery of UWPD Departmental briefings, trainings, exercises, deployments of equipment and supplies on campus
• Conducts vehicle audits and inspection verifications, inventory reports, and tracks operational status of vehicles both in and out of service.
• Assesses fleet suitability on an ongoing basis.
• Partners closely with maintenance and operations to ensure effective management and utilization.
• Manages asset end of life process.
• Works with third party equipment suppliers to ensure camera-monitoring systems are functional and actively always tracking.

Property and Evidence Custodian: - 40%
• Performs intermediate protective service work securing, storing, and documenting obtained evidence.
• Responsible for the management and control of found, recovered, and evidentiary property in the custody of UWPD that is critically important in investigations.
• Prepares evidence for proper disposal.
• Responsible for transportation of evidence to lab for testing, contacts owners of property to be returned and maintains property reports for evidentiary chain of custody.
• Participates in audits of property and evidence standards.
• Responsible for implementing and enhancing current policies and procedures related to property and evidence.
• Attends training seminars to ensure or enhance policies and procedures.
Building Coordinator Responsibilities: - 10%
• Submits facilities maintenance and custodial services requests to the appropriate facilities shops or departments also coordinates all other building-related needs and services.
• Reports unsanitary conditions or hazards to the appropriate office within the Environmental Health and Safety Department.
• Functions or serves as the building's fire safety representative and maintains building evacuation plans.
• Responsible for communicating to all building occupants that may be affected by service interruptions in order to ensure that adverse effects are minimized.
• Coordinates the issue of building keys and locks assigned to the building coordinator. Manages the storage of keys and submits service requests as needed to the Lock Shop.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Two (2) years of progressive record keeping and documentation management and/or purchasing and inventory control or general office experience in high volume, detail oriented environment
Experience with both physical and electronic records management software and programs
Demonstrated knowledge of policy interpretation and management
Knowledge of municipal government purchasing methods and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, peers, and supervisors

Research Coordinator to participate in clinical research at Harborview Medical Center (HMC). The Research Coordinator will coordinate and perform work in support of clinical and health services research in EMS. Research projects will cover a wide range of clinical pathways with a focus on out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, traumatic injuries, strokes, prehospital whole blood, advanced airway management, and opioids. The research coordinator will work in a team environment that includes faculty, fellows, medical students, and other key stakeholders within Seattle Fire Department and the University of Washington's Paramedic Training program.
This position requires research experience. The team must have confidence in the processes used and the work products of this individual. They also must be able to rely on his/her/their ability to move projects forward with professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness. This individual must have a working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative approaches to data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection Activities: (45%)
Perform data collection and data entry process; prepare summary reports and regular updates and perform periodic quality checks to ensure the integrity of the data collected
Assist with development and maintenance of research databases.
Contribute to development of study protocol and evaluation metrics.
Analyze collected data for accuracy.
Human subject research activities (30%)
Recruit, screen and consent participants or legal representative.

Serve as primary point of contact for research participant recruitment, scheduling and questions about studies.
Other Research, Funding and Publication Activities: (25%)
Provide project support to keep activities within scope, timeline, and budget; track project milestones and identify opportunities for knowledge sharing.
Prepare and maintain study materials for the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Draft and edit manuscripts and grant proposals; prepare materials for meetings and workshops.
Complete literature reviews relating to ongoing research.
Serve as research contact for UW research collaborators and outside collaborators.
Attend necessary meetings and conferences for ongoing research projects
Assist with onboarding new hourly Research Assistants as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience performing work in support of clinical, biomedical, or behavioral research studies involving human subject.
