Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Occupational Therapy Required
Credentialed by National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) Required
Must obtain NPI number prior to starting the fellowship program Required

Graduate Assistant - Coaching Positions

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is proud to offer the graduate assistant coaching positions for the 2025-26 academic year. These graduate assistants will gain valuable experience in Wisconsin's NCAA Division II athletics department.
The successful candidates will work a 10-month appointment for the 2025-26 academic year, with the opportunity for renewal of a second-year 12-month appointment. Each graduate assistant will receive a full tuition waiver and a total annual stipend of $9,000, distributed in equal monthly payments. These positions will remain open until filled. Anticipated start date for the positions will be August 1, with the potential for a mutually-agreed upon earlier start date and summer employment.
The coaching graduate assistants will also serve as an instructor for an activity class for the Health, Kinesiology, and Sport Management department (HKSM). To be eligible, students must be admitted to the in-person Master of Sport Management Program (MSSM) at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Appointments are contingent upon maintenance of minimum credit requirements and good standing in the MSSM program.

* Consistent with NCAA Bylaw 11 and institutional procedures. Coach understands and agrees that if Coach is found in violation of any NCAA or Conference Legislation or fails to report a violation, he/she shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures, including suspension without pay or termination of employment for significant or repetitive violations.

Grandparents University (GPU) Counselors are ambassadors of WFAA and UW-Madison. They lead participants to campus locations and are available to offer general assistance to participants and GPU instructors. Counselors are with participants during the entire program and capture many of the program's great moments on camera.
Grandparents University (GPU) is an award-winning program that was started on the UW-Madison campus in the summer of 2001. At GPU, grandparents and their grandchildren come to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus to take part in the Badger experience complete with staying in a campus residence hall, walking around campus, going to class and participating in engaging and hands-on activities, and earning a GPU varsity letter. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting annual salary of $43,888 commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications.

This is a 12-month position with a start date of mid-July 2025. Qualifications
Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology Required or
education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include 60 semester hours including either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses Required
Work Experience
1 year experience as Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
