The Account Executive will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team, with a focus on driving revenue for linear and digital platforms. This role will develop sales revenue from new advertisers as well as maximize revenue from assigned list (active & non-active accounts). This is a great career opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual with extensive agency relationships, especially in movie studio category and demonstrated experience in multi-platform sales including Audience/Advanced TV, Streaming/OTT, Social, Digital and Linear. This role will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts while simultaneously cultivating and growing new client relationships, driving complex deals, and creating new business opportunities.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
Cultivate relationships and service new and existing key accounts to increase revenue
Sell thru Univision's suite of services across all platforms
Prospect new business through self-generated leads via existing contacts, cold calling, networking, etc.
Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service.
Selling of Linear, Experiential, Digital, Branded Content and Social Advertising.
Must be able to manage business plan, pipeline, business reports, and revenue projections with attention to detail by set deadlines as required by management
Achieve individual quarterly, and annual sales goals
Must be accountable for accuracy and all aspects of campaigns' implementation including but not limited to client orders, commercial traffic instructions, promotions, proof of performance, recaps, invoices, collections, etc. in accordance with company guidelines
Work closely with support staff and other departments to ensure smooth execution of all campaigns
Maintain detailed and organized account records

YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Publicis Agency experience required
3-5 years of direct sales media sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth and a demonstrated track record in closing new business
Minimum of 3 years of multi-platform sales experience (including Streaming (OTT); Audience/Advanced TV; Digital; and Linear
Experience with Media sales order entry and stewardship
Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications presenting in front of a client
Experience closing medium to large size deals: $500K and above
Established Senior level agency relationships as well as clients and brand managers
Expertise in multimedia sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, measurement platforms, technology trends, customer buying patterns and budgeting across all asset and platform types, including but not limited to display, video, audio, social, branded content, email and programmatic transactions.
Keen understanding of branded content sales monetization, creative, and execution process.

SALARY RANGE

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital advertising and media planning

Knowledge of programmatic, social and SEM advertising and the media landscape in general

Experience with current generation broadcast media ingest systems a plus.
A flexible work schedule is required, including early mornings, nights and weekends to meet the 24/7 operational needs
Working knowledge of common business software applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be self-sufficient and have a press-on-regardless attitude.
Must work well in a collaborative team environment.
The WGN-TV facility originates WGN-TV/Channel 9 as well as two national networks and a 24-hour cable news operation. This position will require shift work which includes nights, weekends and holidays,

Base hourly pay - $16.60
YOUR DAY-DAY:
* Operate station vehicles and equipment.
* Execute radio station promotional activities according to plan.
* Assist in the day-to-day operation of the department, including, but not limited to the following, coordinate the set-up and teardown of station remotes, appearances, van hits and conduct on-site contests, games and other promotional activities as needed.
YOU HAVE:
* Strong work ethic.
* Working knowledge of audio equipment.
* Requires good driving record.
* Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Requires highly motivated team player capable of working in a fast paced environment.
* Working knowledge of Word, Excel, One Drive, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook
