We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Activations/Remote Technician to join our team at TelevisaUnivision. This role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment for live events, client activations, and remote broadcasts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and have a passion for radio and event production. YOUR DAY-DAY: Event Setup & Operation: * Prepare and set up broadcast equipment at various remote locations, ensuring all technical aspects are ready for live transmissions. * Collaborate with the event team to execute client activations and promotional events seamlessly. Client Interaction: * Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver outstanding service during events and activations. * Provide on-site support and coordination for promotional activities, ensuring client expectations are met. Technical Support: * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with audio and transmission equipment during live events. * Perform regular maintenance on broadcasting gear and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition. Live Broadcast Execution: * Operate soundboards, microphones, and other equipment during live broadcasts, ensuring high-quality audio. * Monitor broadcasts for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary. Documentation & Reporting: * Maintain accurate records of equipment used, issues encountered, and solutions implemented during events. * Report on event outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement. YOU HAVE: * High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in broadcasting, communications, or a related field is a plus. * Previous experience in radio broadcasting, live event production, or technical support preferred. * Proficiency with audio equipment, sound mixing, and broadcasting software. * Familiarity with RF transmission and troubleshooting techniques is a plus. * Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure. * Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and team members. * Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events. * Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment of up to 50 pounds. The Plant Maintenance I performs basic installations, maintains, and repairs production and manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Responsibilities : Perform BASIC preventative maintenance inspection and service on all production and manufacturing equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company guidelines. Possess the necessary personal tools to perform duties. Qualifications and Experience: English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be beneficial based on business necessity. Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required. Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving are required. Must pass pre-employment testing and physical evaluation and be at least 18 years of age. Experience with any of the following preferred: basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays, installation, frequency drive). conveyors (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed controls). electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.). gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining parts). hydraulic-high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, and troubleshooting). kinematics (e.g., line speed/sprocket size ratios, etc.). high-speed production (e.g., bottling, consumer products, etc.). pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, cylinder solenoids, motor brakes, reading). pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs). preventative maintenance (computerized preventative charts/data) Certificates/Licenses/Registrations : PLC, HVAC, Ammonia, Refrigeration, or other specialty certifications preferred but not required. One year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair; or an equivalent combination of continued education and experience. Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Physical Demand/Working Conditions: Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with a full range of body motion.
