Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector, Tactical Space Systems Division, seeks a qualified Systems Engineering Leader to support the ESPASat-L product line. This Deputy Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for assisting in leading the space segment technical team, which includes the following duties: systems analysis and trades, coordinating space segment engineering activities, engineering baseline management, interface management, requirements/V&V management, integration & test campaign development and execution, subcontractor technical oversight, CAM duties, preparing and presenting SE material at all major reviews and PMRs. This position is located in Dulles, VA.
The responsibilities includes both individual-contributor and leadership roles, within a multi-disciplined engineering team. Successful candidate will also be called upon to support other activities, including architecture studies, mission support, and traditional Systems Engineering functions. In this leadership level role, the Deputy Lead Systems Engineer is expected to be self-directed using previous experience in design, analysis and execution efforts. Candidates must be able to recognize and mitigate space segment technical issues and risks while operating within budget and on schedule.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in leading/providing major support to the entire space segment technical team.
Coordinate and optimize space vehicle design, processing and mission success.
Troubleshoot and develop solutions to complex problems that the program may encounter.
Develop, author and/or provide input to major program data products and other deliverables.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. DOING
Innovate: Develop integration programs for leading platforms like QSC, Extron, AMX, and Biamp s
ystems.Design: Create custom graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for intuitive and stylish control system touch
panels.Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams/external clients to bring complex systems t
o life.Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize A/V systems for peak perfo
rmance.Refine: Peer review code for accuracy and efficiency, documenting every step in our da
tabase.Deliver: Execute projects from concept to completion, including in-house testing and on-site commiss

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming or equivalent ex
perience.At least three years of experience with Extron, QSC, or AMX control system programming and on-site commi
ssioning.Expertise in GUI design and graphics appl
ications.Knowledge of A/V fundamentals, including videoconferencing, DSP setup/calibration, and hardware int
egration.Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, VPN) and Unified Communication p
latforms.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills-you thrive under pressure and handle tasks with p

Journeyman Model Based Systems Engineer
Unix Systems Administrator Job In Manassas, VA

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Model Based Systems Engineer to provide engineering support for the Tomahawk Weapons System program. You will serve as part of a team that creates Cameo models of the system, its software, and its components. The team consists of Government and contractor personnel. Meetings will periodically take place on Dahlgren Naval base and our Dahlgren office, but technical work will primarily occur in either our Fredericksburg or Dahlgren office (not on base). 1-2 days of telework per week is possible.
Clearance:
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (United States Citizenship)
Modeling experience (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, CORE, or GENESYS)
5 years of technical experience
Working group or IPT experience
Responsibilities:
Learn the system
Utilize MBSE tools (primarily Cameo) to develop models
Perform scripting to export model information into other formats (e.g., Word)
Provide inputs at technical meetings
Review co-workers work and provide constructive feedback
Learn and provide suggestions on processes
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with white box and black box concepts
Experience routing an Information Support Plan (ISP)
Scripting proficiency
Experience working with Navy weapons system requirements
Familiarity with Agile development methods such as Kanban
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline OR 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree Compensation:
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
