General Summary:This position is responsible for directing communications strategies to achieve stated business objectives. The incumbent works proactively with key business partners to identify communications needs and develop strategies to meet them. The incumbent must deliver high-quality writing and creative concepts based on sound communications objectives and marketing principles, define scope and manage projects. Job Specifications
College degree in journalism, communications, English or a related field.
Minimum 5 to 8 years professional communications experience.
Excellent writing and editing skills, including speechwriting/presentation development and experience with a broad range of print and electronic vehicles.

**General Summary:**
General Summary
This position is responsible for production of commercial mortgage loan investments, including origination and underwriting, on a national basis with specific coverage territories as agreed upon with the VP. The incumbent will work closely with legal and other team members, both in terms of underwriting new transactions and monitoring transactions within their portfolio in conjunction with the asset management function. There are no direct reports associated with this position at present, but from time to time this role might include one or more direct reports in the form of a more junior level loan officer and/or analyst; as such, this position could entail helping to train, develop, and mentor such individual(s).
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Generate, analyze, negotiate, structure, and commit commercial mortgage loans
+ Conduct detailed analysis and underwriting of potential mortgage transactions, specifically including underwriting of the real estate, income/expense stream, borrowing entity, and regional economic and market indicators.
+ Negotiate pricing to adequately cover the risk, while maximizing the spread
+ Develop and maintain deep network of correspondents and brokers.
+ Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of real estate market conditions, financial markets and trends as they relate to commercial mortgage loans.
+ Contribute information and analysis to aid portfolio timing and strategy relative to commercial mortgage investments.
+ Work with team members to assure data integrity in system on new deals
+ Prepare written analysis of proposed investments for review with management and present to Private Asset Committee.
+ Work with internal and external legal counsel on the structure of proposed and committed transactions, terms of loan documents and closing requirements.
+ Perform regional asset management for existing investments, including inspections, evaluations and review of risk ratings.
+ Work with AVP and team to monitor and manage loan portfolio and make recommendations with respect to modifications or amendment requests.
**Job Specifications**
+ BA in business, real estate, finance, economics, or related field required. Advanced degree or certification in related field, such as MBA, CFA, CPA, or JD preferred
+ 10 years minimum work experience in commercial mortgage lending; solid knowledge of real estate finance, valuation and credit analysis, as well as real estate documentation

**General Summary:**

General Summary:This position is responsible for a team of employees that handle management of multi-incumbent and single-incumbent job requisitions and hiring needs for assigned business functions. This individual is responsible for developing the technical talent acquisition, judgment, consultative and decision-making skills of the staffing professionals that report to this position and has accountability for the account management of the assigned business function(s) the team will support.
In addition to overseeing the team's performance and development needs, this position has responsibility for achieving a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction while ensuring hiring practices and procedures follow legal standards and Unum's commitment to our employees.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with leadership and HRBPs on workforce plans that support the entire talent strategy, future talent needs of the business, including understanding key roles, retention, growth initiatives, and succession planning impacts.
Execute innovative recruiting and sourcing strategies and processes aligned with business needs that maximize quality, speed, efficiency, mitigate unconscious bias and generate inclusive and diverse candidate pools.
Partner with the Inclusion and Diversity team to build strategic and maintain relationships with educators, professional organizations, institutions, and non-profits that deliver robust pipelines of candidates from underrepresented and underserved communities for all roles at all levels.
Leadership of a diverse team, including all aspects of people management, selection, training, resource capacity, job design and performance management that creates a high-performance operating environment.
Ensures quality, audit, and control standards through the development of effective standards, policies, education and creative training programs for direct reports and broader talent acquisition team.
May develop workflow and/or identify and implement new technology solutions to meet specialized needs of the assigned business function(s).
Manages internal and external customer expectations through project planning and partnering efforts throughout the corporation.
Manages talent acquisition relationship with assigned business function(s), developing deep understanding of ongoing talent needs and resulting implications to talent acquisition to provide expertise and recommended solutions.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Workday Recruiting, testing new release functionality, developing, and delivering training to new hires and broad talent acquisition team.
Provides leadership and direction to project teams who are involved with projects specific to talent acquisition and communicates project strategies and status to all impacted parties.
Meets challenges head-on by the efficient and timely development, identification, and implementation of new strategies, solutions, and opportunities to acquire great talent.
Coordinates training, staffing and system changes as dictated by project plans.
Ensure hiring strategies and sources provide equal employment opportunity to drive an inclusive and diverse workforce, creating a competitive advantage. Manage EEO and AAP reporting requirements for Talent Acquisition team in partnership with Inclusion and Diversity team.

Job Specifications
Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of talent acquisition or broad HR functional experience required.
2+ years of proven success leading a corporate talent acquisition or HR team preferred.
Proven ability to make sound business decisions and deliver results
Demonstrated experience in motivation, team building and collaboration
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills - both written and verbal
Strong project management, leadership, and organization skills
Demonstrated success in influencing with and without authority

The Customer Benefit Advisor (CBA) I is the entry level in a three-level career path. A CBA I is a critical first point of contact for our customers.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent is responsible for demonstrating exceptional customer service for business serviced by Unum/Colonial Life. It is critical to provide accurate information on benefits, claims, and or policy administration with minimal operational oversight. Incumbents in this role will be tasked with compiling information for multiple product types, from multiple systems, and providing responses to customers that are thorough, clear, and concise. All work is carefully performed according to established protocols/procedures.
In this role, incumbents must demonstrate a willingness to provide strong customer service - providing accurate information to customers, expressing appropriate empathy, and resolving customer issues where appropriate. This position requires the use of multiple system applications and administrative processes. While service is focused on our external customers, this position is responsible for creating detailed/appropriate documentation for our internal cross-functional business partners.
In addition to providing excellent customer service in accordance with established standards, incumbents will need to demonstrate proficiency in individual metrics (i.e. accuracy, post-interaction surveys, average handle time, after call work, schedule adherence, etc.) that are in line with pre-set expectations and drive results for the Customer Contact Center.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Be the customers' first line of sight (advisor) by being available to assist via multiple avenues of communication with timely and accurate information regarding policy and coverage-related questions.
Meet or exceed company goals and metrics to guarantee the best experience for customers.

Protect customers' privacy (both internal and external) and reassure them with empathy and professionalism.
Be available to work a regularly assigned shift between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Eastern time Monday-Friday.

Successfully complete all required training and associated support periods.
Ability to obtain information from multiple systems and relay to customers in a seamless manner.
Follow all documented processes/workflow to enhance customer service and reduce customer effort/operating efficiency.
Utilize resources and tools to accurately respond to customer inquiries.

Job Specifications
1 year customer service experience preferred, with a strong preference that the experience be in the insurance/healthcare/medical/financial field or equivalent area.
Highschool diploma or GED required.
Successful completion of Contact Center training program, including demonstrating phone proficiency and passing required knowledge checks.
A passion for helping customers and exceeding their expectations with high integrity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to flex your communication style to best meet the needs of customers.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, structured environment, answering numerous inquiries for customers at their greatest time of need.
Strong computer and multi-tasking skills as well as the ability to confidently work in multiple systems with dual monitors.
Familiarity with Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continually learn and grow.
An excellent work ethic and ability to adapt and work successfully in a continually changing environment.
Dependability - being available when needed by teammates and customers.
Comfortable with video communications via MS Teams throughout the day to communicate with teammates and leadership face to (virtual) face.
