The opportunity:
Uphold is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our growing CRM team. This role is central to the execution and optimization of all customer communicationsincluding lifecycle, transactional, and promotional campaignsacross email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging.
Youll play a key role in scaling our CRM infrastructuresupporting the setup of automated, data-driven campaigns; building reusable workflows and templates; and partnering with data and engineering teams to maintain reliable event tracking and integrations. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, optimization, and platform scalability, with exposure to campaign strategy, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Content, and Data teams.
What youll be doing:
Build, QA, and deploy automated, data-driven journeys across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging
Develop and maintain scalable campaign infrastructure, templates, and workflows within Customer.io
Design and implement advanced segmentation using behavioral, transactional, and real-time data
Support CRM team on end-to-end campaign setup, including triggers, delays, conditionals, and personalization logic
Maintain campaign documentation, tracking, and reporting
Partner with engineering and data teams to expand and maintain integrations and event tracking
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
Monitor campaign performance and assist in surfacing insights and optimizations
Support A/B testing and other experimentation to improve effectiveness
Identify and execute automation opportunities to streamline operations and scale campaign delivery
Required qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, or lifecycle marketing
Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, etc.)
HTML/CSS knowledge.
Strong attention to detail and QA discipline in campaign execution
Familiarity with segmentation, triggers, personalization, and journey building
Comfortable working with campaign performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, engineering, and data teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred

The Opportunity
Uphold is seeking a Head of Crypto Lending & Borrowing to lead and scale our newest product vertical: the ability to borrow against and lend digital assets. This is a senior, high-impact leadership role responsible for defining the commercial strategy, building the business model, and delivering measurable growth across lending and borrowing products. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in crypto lending and borrowing, a strong grasp of digital asset markets, and a proven ability to launch and scale revenue-generating products within regulated environments.

What youll be doing primarily
Own the P&L for the Lending & Borrowing business unit accountable for both revenue generation and cost efficiency.
Define and execute the commercial strategy for Upholds digital asset lending products, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, Risk, Treasury, and Compliance to ensure scalable and compliant business operations.
Build and manage partnerships across the crypto ecosystem including institutional lenders, exchanges, decentralized protocols, and liquidity providers.
Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering a results-driven, innovative, and risk-aware culture.
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on all matters related to digital asset credit markets, DeFi integration, and on/off-ramp liquidity management.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in financial services, crypto, or fintech, including leadership roles in lending, borrowing, or structured products.
Proven success in building or scaling a digital asset lending business ideally in both retail and institutional markets.
Deep understanding of crypto markets, blockchain-based collateral models, and DeFi protocols.
Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership experience.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Understanding of U.S. lending regulations and digital asset risk frameworks.
Prior experience launching crypto lending or yield products at a leading exchange, lending platform, or fintech.
Experience working in a regulated, fast-paced, and globally distributed organization.
Fluency in using large language models to increase performance in professional settings.
Based in or willing to relocate to New York (preferred).

What will you be doing?
We have been licensing Kraken for over 4 years now, transforming businesses by not only moving their customer base to our Kraken platform but also changing their operating model & ways of working. Throughout this time our team has been at the forefront of industry leading migrations whilst setting a new standard for what business transformation can look like.
This role will own the technical part of a major client program with an international energy retailer who are initially looking to transform their operations. You will be leading the technical pillar of the migration and subsequent technical relationship. Managing a program of change for the client who has chosen to licence our Kraken platform as part of a broader business transformation objective.
Over time, this role can evolve to Technical Program responsibility with other clients, to on-going Technology Account Management or to various roles with the Kraken Technology organisation, across several geographical regions.
We work incredibly dynamically, and this role is one that will take different shapes throughout the week. We are looking for well rounded individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity, are self-starters and willing to roll their sleeves up to get to the nitty gritty of a problem. You must be committed to the Kraken way of delivering tech based on simplicity, client benefit and efficiency while bringing senior stakeholders through a journey of change.

Key skills that are needed:

Program management: Confident in managing a long term, fast paced program. Can be both high level and dive into detail when required. Ability to directly manage a team and manage processes that can drive the right outcomes for clients.
Strong technical aptitude: We are looking for a logical thinker who has strong problem solving skills within an agile working framework. Must quickly be able to grasp the technical capabilities and constraints of the Kraken platform. Our Client Value Leads partner directly with clients and internal teams to identify, frame, and quantify value levers. Work directly with clients, prospects, advisors, and consultants to turn North American utility pain points into clear, quantified value enabled by Kraken.
Build tailored client value propositions and business cases that reflect each prospect's operations, financials, market, and regulatory environment. The aim isn't just numbers on a page, but a balanced story that shows both the hard financial benefits and the wider impact Kraken can unlock for customers, teams, and long-term growth.
Translate success data from Kraken's non-regulated retail supply clients into relevant value propositions for regulated utility client prospects.
Own the quantification of market relevant value propositions across all of Kraken solutions including Customer, Customer Flex, Generation Flex, and Field. Be prepared to include in any prospect value case any or all of these value streams. Partner with Product Marketing to generate differentiated, evidence-based value cases
Quantify benefits delivered by adapting the global value framework to North American market dynamics. Establish credible “pre-Kraken” baselines and clearly evidence improvements in operational efficiency, customer outcomes, and innovation following platform implementation.
Identify opportunities for innovation and growth beyond IT cost savings and operational efficiency-including new revenue streams, flexibility services, product diversification, and customer-centric propositions that can succeed within regulated markets.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Regulatory, Delivery teams, and Client Success, ensuring client value cases are compelling, consistent, and tailored to each client. Manage alignment with Sales teams, supporting them in articulating Kraken's value proposition credibly and consistently to client prospects and existing clients.
Help drive the continued improvement and excellence of the Global Client Value team, helping to refine frameworks, share best practices, and embed a value-focused mindset across Kraken. Develop reusable assets-such as templates, benchmarks, and proof points tailored to North American utilities.

Desired Skillset
North American utility business case experience: Demonstrated track record in developing technology business cases for investor-owned utilities. ideally gained while working within a North American utility or directly supporting one. Experience building business cases for large IT investments and guiding them through executive and board approval processes.
Utility regulation literacy: Deep understanding of North American utility regulatory frameworks (incentive designs, business case formats/precedent, etc.) and experience navigating public filings to locate primary source data.

The role
You'll work directly with Kraken clients to help them develop modern, transformative data and analytics capabilities as part of their broader Kraken transformation. Uphold is seeking a Senior Backend Blockchain Engineer to join our blockchain engineering team in New York, US. This role will focus on building and maintaining the internal systems that power our blockchain operations, working across multiple blockchains and distributed ledgers to ensure scalability, reliability and security.
