Requirements * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field * Must be an incoming Junior or Senior in a degreed program * Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. * Curiosity, coachability and a willingness to engage. * Proficient in Microsoft office. Your Assignment: Specific tasks will be tailored to match the education / experience level of the intern and current needs of ASML analysis team, e.g. Reduced Order Modeling (ROM), Machine Learning, uncertainty quantification (UQ), CFD post-processing. Work in a team environment alongside experienced engineers to achieve intern project goals. Document project and present the results to ASML analysis stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Profile: Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Science or similar discipline. Minimum of Masters degree, PhD, preferred. Skills Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics. Experience using OpenFOAM/ SnappyHexMesh or StarCCM+ , COMSOL software. Experience in Physics-Informed Neural Network, Machine Learning frameworks . Have strong written and oral communicative skills. Be a demonstrated “team player” with a quality orientation and interpersonal skills. Have strong problem solving skills and the ability to take initiative. Other Information This position is located on-site in Enter Location, San Diego, CA . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week). The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $18.00 - $56.00. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data.
