Job Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess residents/patients and use treatments to help them develop, maintain and recover their ability to perform tasks in their occupations of life. Qualifications

Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Head of School, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elder Speaker to join our team. The Elder Speaker will play a vital role in ensuring the Ojibwe language is being transferred to the students and staff within the school community. The ideal candidate should be a first language speaker of Ojibwe.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach and speak Ojibwe to maintain a language learning setting.
Support teachers in Ojibwemowin learning activities, lesson plans, curriculum development, and in the classroom, etc.
Work closely and effectively with youth, families, and elders.
Ability to work in small groups or one-on-one for Ojibwemowin learning activities.
Provide Ojibwemowin seven teachings and values throughout the school community.
Ojibwemowin storytelling.
Encourage and support new ideas and approaches to learning the Ojibwe language literacy in oral/written form.
Work with school staff on Ojibwemowin learning for the purpose of increasing Ojibwemowin knowledge and retention.
Participate in staff development, staff meetings, and Ojibwemowin planning activities as needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Develop and implement the company's compliance program, ensuring it aligns with the organization's strategic goals and regulatory obligations. Lead and manage the compliance department, providing guidance and direction to compliance staff. Serve as the company's primary point of contact for all regulatory and compliance-related matters. Supervise regular internal audits to assess compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and business practices. Provide timely and accurate reports to the Tribal Treasurer regarding the company's compliance status and any significant issues. Investigate non-compliance issues or complaints, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Promote and uphold the company's ethical culture, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Ensure that third-party vendors, contractors, and business partners adhere to applicable compliance standards and regulations. Oversee the due diligence process for assessing third-party risks related to compliance and legal matters.
Manage and oversee regulatory investigations, examinations, and audits. Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities, and coordinate responses to compliance inquiries and enforcement actions.
Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the compliance program and internal controls.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) or Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Risk Professional (CRP), or similar are a plus.
Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, legal, regulatory, or risk management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology) preferred.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex compliance issues in a clear and actionable manner. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.

POSITION SUMMARY
The School Registrar/Office Support is responsible for maintaining accurate student records, managing enrollment and registration processes, provide general administrative support, support daily school office operations, and providing high-quality customer service to students, families,and staff. This position plays a key role in supporting the school community by upholding confidentiality, organization, and professionalism in all interactions.
This role reports directly to the Head of School.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
Office Support Duties
Serve as the first point of contact for students, families, visitors, and staff.
Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide general information in a professional and welcoming manner.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, copying, scheduling, and correspondence.
Assist with staff communication, family notifications, and school-wide announcements.
Provide logistical support for meetings, events, and school activities.
Assist in coordinating school events, scheduling and distributing information to families and staff.
Provide support with planning tasks and projects as needed.
Manage incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supply inventory.
All other duties as assigned.
Registrar Duties
Oversee student enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in the student information system (SIS).
Ensure compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, including immunizations, attendance, and demographic data.
Prepare and submit enrollment data for audits, reporting, and funding purposes.
Coordinate and document requests for student transcripts, records, and verification forms.
Track attendance daily; follow up with families regarding absences and maintain attendance reports.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND STRENGTHS
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in administration preferred.
Prior experience in a school office, customer service, or administrative role is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Student Information Systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced school environment.

POSITION SUMMARY
A Paraprofessional at Endazhi-Nitaawiging is committed to academic and personal
excellence for every student and will work alongside the Elementary Education Teacher.
He or she will understand what it means to be a lifelong learner and participate in
ongoing professional development goal setting, learning and reflection in each school year.
Endazhi-Nitaawiging will challenge every educator at the school to develop a thoroughly
indigenized pedagogy, a way of teaching that reflects Ojibwe ways of knowing and that employs
the Ojibwe language as the medium of instruction whenever possible. The Paraprofessional will
report to the Head of School.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
Assist Elementary Education Teacher in educational services delivery models such as pull-out, push-in, co-teaching, resource room, alternative instruction, etc.
Support each childs social, emotional and intellectual growth and development
Ensure the wellbeing and safety of children at all times
Works with Elementary Education Teachers and participates in and contributes to student planning and student learning tasks.
Assist students with assignments or difficult concepts.
Participate in school-provided training related to crisis intervention skills and techniques, staff professional development, and other required meetings.
Utilize approved verbal de-escalation skills and behavior management techniques during crisis intervention, including physical restraint in emergency situation as prescribed by school procedures, provided training, and Minnesota statutes.
Articulate orally and in writing; in both English and Ojibwe
Maintains familiarity with and be prepared to implement current school and building Emergency Procedures.

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CREDENTIALS
Associates degree from an accredited college or university in education or an equivalent combination of education and experience and ability to obtain paraprofessional credentials.
In-depth knowledge and experience working with the Minnesota Native American community including families/students, elders, and community organizations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Evaluate existing internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Develop and implement internal control assessments to ensure operational efficiency, financial integrity, and safeguarding of assets.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
