This position supports daily manufacturing activities for non-sterile and sterile bulk/CSP operations. This position is responsible for supporting:
1) Weighing of chemicals to support product formulation
2) Formulation of bulk intermediate solutions
3) Sterile filter integrity testing
4) Clean Room cleaning and disinfection
Responsibilities may include:
Will directly support manufacturing operations including but not limited to: Support the dispensing of chemicals and raw materials that will be used to manufacture bulk intermediate products Maintain FEFO of chemicals used in preparations; Pull expired chemicals monthly Preparation of bulk intermediate solutions that will be used in compounded sterile products Maintaining room materials, supplies and process documentation Perform equipment calibration checks (i.e., analytical balance, pH meter, etc.) and troubleshoot equipment as needed Safely transport product and materials from ISO 8 processing rooms to ISO 8 Anti room Daily/ Bi-Weekly/Monthly cleaning of processing room and equipment and fill out appropriate preventative maintenance forms and checklists in accordance with SOPs Daily Supply list for respective area turned into receiving by scheduled time Open/close Formulation pods and ILP in accordance with work instructions and daily task lists Daily/weekly/monthly cleaning of rooms and equipment and fill out appropriate preventative maintenance forms and check lists Complete necessary documents for accountability and traceability of product following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs); comply with cGMPs, and company ISO standards Comply with 503B guidelines; cGMPs, and company standards Immediate notification of production management of deviations to established processes or procedures. Assist other areas as needed (cleaning; non-sterile filling; ILP; etc.)
Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country High school Diploma or GED from recognized institution or organization required College Degree with an emphasis in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent preferred Pharmaceutical experience preferred Strong Math skills required At least 1-year pharmaceutical manufacturing a plus
