is seeking a
Scope Change Coordinator
to be based in our
Baltimore, MD
office to support the
B&P Tunnel Replacement (BPTR) Program
, among other project opportunities available at AECOM.
AECOM is the delivery partner for Amtrak on the BPTR Program that will upgrade a ten-mile section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC), America's busiest passenger rail line. The delivery partner team is responsible for supporting Amtrak with overseeing the full breadth of the program. The scope of services includes program management, design oversight, construction oversight, commissioning oversight, program controls, and commercial and capacity building. The Program will also include delivery of new roadway and railroad bridges, new rail systems and track, and a new ADA-accessible West Baltimore MARC station.
The Scope Change Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and controlling the approved project scope baseline to ensure alignment across design, engineering, construction, and stakeholder teams. This role ensures scope changes are properly documented, evaluated, and controlled to protect project objectives related to cost, schedule, and quality. The role requires familiarity with construction or other scope change management, design or construction contracts, and project management.
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Review, maintain, and control the project Scope Baseline, ensuring alignment with contract documents and approved project objectives
Establish and maintain scope management procedures, standards, and governance frameworks
Coordinate with engineering, design, construction, and procurement teams to verify scope definition and completeness
Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and baseline revisions through formal change control processes
Maintain scope logs, change registers, and audit trails
Coordinate with subject matter experts related to risk assessments related to scope growth and scope creep
Follow up discussions with SMEs, estimators, and schedulers
Participate in review meetings and obtain SME inputs within relevant review forms.
Maintain dashboards, prepare reports, and executive summaries on scope performance
Facilitate scope review meetings and participate in project control reviews
Coordinate and support Procurement process for timely issuance of Contract Modifications
Review project correspondence, and track and report out on status of potential and actual changes.
Prepare weekly updates on status of scope changes, and other noteworthy communications.
Interface with the contractor and other stakeholders, as required, to gather additional details.
Attend technical project working group meetings as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or equivalent.
Experience in infrastructure design and construction program and contract management
Proficient and experineced in the scope management, WBS development, and work packaging
Advanced experience in project change management and baseline control
Excellent proficiency in communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Self-directed, detail-oriented with ability to manage complex documentation
Proficiencent in project controls systems and document management platforms
Ability to work independently and self-directed with the ability to coordinate with multiple project team members, consultants, and contractors for specific initiatives.
Experience in abilit to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Proficient in working with the Delivery Team, Engineering, and Risk Management to assist in facilitating organizational coordination.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experienced in project organization, time management, and prioritization skills with proven ability to balance competing tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong proficency in written and verbal communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary
The Urbanism + Planning group of AECOM is actively seeking a creative and enthusiastic Urban Planner III for employment in the Washington, DC office. The planner will serve on multi-disciplinary planning efforts in the DC region's most treasured places, from national parks to neighborhoods. As part of a highly collaborative team of urban designers, planners, engineers, environmental scientists, and economists, the planner will develop planning documents and facilitate stakeholder engagement efforts to help municipal, federal, and private sector clients advance transformational projects in the region. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Job Description
The ideal candidate should have experience in land development, including residential areas, schools, parks, hospitals, and various private and governmental projects, as well as utility and transportation infrastructures. They must have served as the civil engineer of record for significant land development projects and possess strong communication skills for interacting with staff and clients. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
A minimum of fifteen (15) years' of demonstrated experience with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area;
A Professional Engineering license(PE) license is required (DC, MD & VA), if out of state must be able to obtain registration in DC within six months;
Must have a good working knowledge of the District of Columbia, Montgomery and Prince George's counties and the State of Maryland's design policies and procedures;
Good writing and organizational skills; and
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation is a plus.

AECOM is accepting resumes for various Environmental Historic Preservations Specialists (EHP) positions to perform the tasks listed below in the Project Overview.
EHP Specialist positions may include Archaeologist, Architectural Historian, Biologist, Certified Floodplain Manager, Ecologist, Environmental Planner, Historic Architect, Horticulturalist, Water Quality Specialist, and Wetlands Specialist.
The EHP Specialist will be embedded within FEMA to provide technical assistance that may include:
* Conduct site inspections and ensure that any proposed project actions comply with environmental, floodplain, and historic preservation laws, regulations, and executive orders.
* Ensure EHP considerations are identified, documented, and communicated to the appropriate parties.
* Conduct environmental assessments and environmental impact statements as required.
* Assess potential impacts to species and habitat on projects, prepare No Effect memos, and conduct biological assessments and surveys to determine the existence of, and potential impact to, endangered species in accordance with criteria.
* Conduct surveys, assessments, and reviews of other potential areas of impact such as water quality, wetland delineations, sole or principal drinking aquifers, prime farmlands, and other ecologically significant or geographically unique areas.
* Perform analyses to ensure all reasonable alternatives have been evaluated in accordance with criteria and documented in written reports.
* Provide technical expertise to assist with Floodplain and Wetland Issues to support documentation needed for Executive Order 11988 and Executive Order 11990.
* May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate and record damage to assist in the FEMA Public Assistance grant delivery process.
If selected the role would initially be a part-time, casual position and would become full-time within 90 days upon task order award.

**AECOM** has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Technician II to join our Annapolis Junction Remediation team. You will work on a diverse range of projects delivering remediation system solutions to our key clients.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team.
