    Henry Industries

Brett Henry served as CEO of Henry Industries, Inc., from 1991 until October 2017, when a tragic accident claimed his life in a qualifying round of a National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) competition at the Auto Club Famoso Raceway. He was an energetic leader who treated every member of HII like family, and instilled in all of us a passion for delivering top-quality customer service. Brett grew up in Maize, Kansas, a rural community blessed with glorious sunsets, wide-open spaces and close-knit families like the Henrys. Alongside his brother Brent, and his father Jim, Brett was a vintage drag racing enthusiast. Brett’s dedication to the sport legitimized him as a nationally renowned driver on the NHRA circuit. After earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and business administration from Wichita State University, Brett combined his academic background with the science of speed and the spirit of pit-crew teamwork as a framework for business. Together, with Brent and Jim, he co-founded Henry Industries, Inc. in 1991, and helped build one of the largest privately held third-party logistics companies in the U.S. Through the years, he bonded our team together like extended family members, and inspired us with the Henry family’s business creed: Put the client’s satisfaction and success first, and our own success will follow.

Mr. Jay Waldman is a Chief Executive Officer at Select Express & Logistics and is based in United States.
