Working within our flagship health center- El Nuevo San Juan Health Center, we are seeking a Behavioral Health Manager who will manage the operations of our Adult and Children's Behavioral Health Unit. The Behavioral Health Manager position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

Position Summary:

Joining our Specialty Department, the Certified Sterilization Technician will join our Bronx Federally Qualified Health Center. The Sterilization Tech will maintain quality assurance standards, ensure approved infection control, and uphold specialty department policy and procedures. The CST will be essential to the patient flow and compliance for our Podiatry, ENT, Derm, and other specialties.
This is an onsite full-time role, Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certificate required including Sterile Processing Technician; Certified Registered Central Service Technician, CBSPD, or CS/SPD.
Familiarity with medical terminology and operating sterile processing equipment.
Computer proficiency
Key Duties:
Collects, cleans, decontaminates, disinfects, and sterilizes all medical instruments/trays/packs.
Ensures autoclave maintenance.
Sterilizes reusable instruments, devices, and equipment.
Maintains logs and inventories. Re-stocks and distributed instruments and supply as needed.
Ensures the quality standards of sterilization for the department.
Ensures effective transportation of instruments between floors and exam rooms.

We are currently hiring Certified Application Counselors for our Outreach and Enrollment Department. The CAC will enroll and assist individuals and families in our community with Health Insurance by way of the NYS of Health Marketplace. The CAC will assist individuals and families in navigating the healthcare system by providing direct support with health insurance enrollment, coverage navigatio, access-to-care guidance and social support referrals. Staff will serve as a resource to help clients understand and maintain their health coverage, connect to affordable care options and access essential community-based services.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Previous experience as Facilitated Enroller, IPA Navigator, or other enrollment-based health care positions is a huge plus, however this is an entry level role and training will be provided.

Key Duties:
Assist and Enroll individuals and families with Health Insurance enrollment through the New York State of Health Marketplace, Access NY, and Medicare programs.
Refer uninsured consumers to Navigators, CAC's or the CSS Helpline for enrollment or renewal assistance.
Help consumers apply or recertify for programs such as Medicaid (Non-MAGI), Extra Help, EPIC, and the Medicare Savings Program.
Support consumers unable to qualify for coverage, including undocumented individuals, by connecting them to free or low-cost care options (e.g., NYC Care, hospital financial assistance, FQHC's)
Educate consumers on insurance rights, plan benefits, cost-sharing, and prescription coverage, and assist in choosing, switching, or disenrolling from health plans.
Guide consumers through coverage issues, such as finding in-network providers, obtaining prior authorization, or understanding Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
Address social support needs (housing, food, legal, employment, mental health, substance abuse, etc) through appropriate referrals within or outside the organization.
Attend community events, health fairs, etc. and build community partnerships.
