DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The InformationTechnology Generalist 2 serves as the Imaging System Administrator and as such performs deployment, installation, planning, and support functions. This position performs administrative and consultative work advising staff on capabilities and limitations of available informationtechnology and provides expertise and leadership for all phases of the comprehensive Imaging storage and retrieval system.
In this role you will be responsible to serve as the Scanning Capture and Analytics application Administrator; provide expertise on issues, problems, solutions, and capabilities and limitations of imaging and scanning technologies; handle needed interfaces between imaging and scanning systems with other agency business applications; and provides help desk support for issues with imaging, scanning, and document processing.

Job Summary

In this position, you will:
Provide support and community-based residential services to adults with serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Group Home and Supervised Living settings.
Advocate and apply knowledge of person-centered and recovery-oriented treatment models.
Assist and provide skill-building support for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, medication management, general supervision, and behavior support.
Provide input for assessing individuals' needs and be responsible for the implementation of individual service plans, documentation, and data collection.
Work to ensure the health, safety, and overall well-being of the individuals served.
Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting in other Residential programs and/or homes.

Oversees and coordinates the installation of POS equipment and systems in all sites, stores and temporary locations such as festival stores. Ensures that the equipment and systems are installed correctly by working with several support personnel with ranging degrees of technical knowledge. Works with various teams and contractors to accomplish this activity.
Provides a variety of technical support, consultation, and systems enhancement activities for users in various areas of the Liquor Control Board. Acts as an expert on the subject of POS.
Responds as advanced support to escalated problems from Service Now tickets and incoming calls. Problems come from a variety of users and support staff. Opens and resolves service requests with vendors as well as with the internal help desk system.
Provides on-call support for critical issues during off hours on a rotating basis. This includes weekends and some holidays.

As a Network Specialist 2, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and technical support of Mobile Command Posts, Fixed Command Posts, and Joint Operations Centers. You will independently install and configure all software and hardware related to the set-up and teardown of Mobile Command Posts (MCP) as well as Cisco network equipment, desktop PCs, and laptops. You will also receive, ship, and maintain inventory of materials stored at the work location. This role requires a thorough knowledge of PSP software including RMS/CAD, CLEAN, MDT, GIS, JNET, and VPN Remote Access; and the ability to monitor system resources, resolve system performance issues, and ensure system availability. In addition, you will provide technical assistance to contractors, assist with operations procedures and planning, and review MCP technical manuals and publications.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Irregular Schedule: You must be available outside of scheduled working hours for deployment of PSP Mobile Command Posts, Fixed Command Posts and Joint Operations Centers which may necessitate shift changes and extended working hours as needed to ensure operational needs and priorities are met.

Manage and ensure the security of databases and data transferred both internally and externally.

Relationship Management
Build and maintain collaborative and consultative relationships with OIT, DPH Divisions/Units as well as vendors related to DPH operational security systems and processes being managed and or supported by DPH Health IT and OIT Operations Security Teams.
Gain an understanding of OIT and DPH processes and requirements as they relate to the DPH supported systems.
Conduct regular reviews, priority-setting, and planning sessions with the Health IT Director, the Health IT Infrastructure Manager, the Health IT Enterprise Data Services Manager, and other stakeholders. Serve as an advocate for those priorities, plans, and other technology needs within DPH Health IT.
Monitor, evaluate, and regularly report to Health Director on IT security related IT projects, services, and support; the delivery of services according to service level agreements; and levels of client satisfaction.
