This position is responsible for the physical delivery and distribution of printed materials across Travis County departments. The role involves frequent lifting, loading, transporting, and delivering print jobs and paper supplies, in addition to operating basic reprographics and bindery equipment. This is a physically demanding, delivery-driven role that requires reliability, time management, and the ability to handle heavy materials throughout the workday.

Distinguishing Characteristics
This is the first in a series of two reprographics production-related job classifications within the Imaging & Graphics job family. This classification performs routine, hands-on work in the printing, reproduction, binding and delivering of documents.
* Loads, transports, and delivers completed print jobs to County departments on a daily schedule.
* Delivers bulk paper and printing supplies, including moving boxed and palletized materials weighing up to 75 pounds throughout the day.
* Operates various photocopy equipment in order to complete print orders for clients. Monitors print quality.
* Operates a variety of bindery equipment, including high speed stapling, binding, collating, folding, inserting, drilling and labeling machines. Adjusts machines for each job according to paper size and alignment.
* Performs related work, such as collating, stapling, assembling, stuffing, cutting, punching, folding and paste-ups as job requires.
* Delivers completed print jobs to clients. Delivers copy paper to clients.
* Maintains and operates offset presses and other print shop equipment, such as copier machines, paper cutter and paper folder. Loads machines with paper and supplies, such as toner.
* May supervise inmates who are used to assist in print jobs and delivery of large orders.
* Maintains inventory of paper and other supplies. Performs miscellaneous clerical duties, as required.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or G.E.D. AND one (1) year of reprographics or related experience;

Any combination of education and experience that has been achieved and is equivalent to the stated education and experience and required knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform field and on-site laboratory tests on soil, geosynthetics, and other materials primarily associated with landfill and/or waste containment system construction.
Perform in-place moisture-density results to verify project compaction requirements are met.
Oversee drilling, logging of borings, and instrumentation installation.
Monitor activities on job sites to assure compliance with relevant contract documents (e.g., technical specifications, construction drawings, sampling plans, CQA plans etc.).
Provide CQA monitoring on several types of construction and/or environmental activities on enviro-civil construction sites.
Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports;
Assure project documentation is correct and consistent with company policy & procedures.
Interact with project personnel (contractors, project managers, engineers & clients) and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach through open lines of communications and participation in work progress meetings.
Assist in the preparation of the final reports, work plans, health and safety documents, and the assembly of report appendices.
Observe and abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the site-specific project health and safety plans and the company's Environmental Health and Safety Management policies and procedures.
Perform tasks in other company practice areas including general construction services, environmental sampling, contractor oversight, or construction quality assurance activities, as needed.

An Engineering Technician II job is available with the City of Fort Worth Development Services X Team. The Development Services X Team is responsible for expedited plan review for all types of building permits. This includes performing a variety of technical duties in reviewing, approving and processing building applications with the outside development community and internal City departments through the full development process. We are seeking a highly energetic individual who understands water/wastewater design and can operate in a fast-paced environment. Staff is also encouraged to explore innovative alternative solutions to address development issues and serve our customers. While the work is technical in nature, there is a strong focus on customer service, communication and accountability. Minimum Qualifications
* Associate Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field
* Two (2) years of increasingly responsible technical engineering experience in the areas of drafting, project design, review/analysis of projects for conformance of established standards, and/or land surveying
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Geographical Imaging Software (GIS), Accela and Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience reading and interpreting Civil construction plans and specifications
* Possess an understanding of local government policy and Fort Worth development processes
* Previous municipal government experience
The Engineering Technician II job responsibilities include
* Responsible for reading engineering plans, water and sewer maps
* Coordination between the X Team and Alliance Partners (Water, Storm Water, TPW, Backflow, and others) to expedite building permit plan reviews
* Assist X Team customers with exceptional customer service as they maneuver through the development process
* Present plan review comments in meetings with engineers, architects, contractors and owners
* Assist in tracking active X Team projects to ensure workflows are completed on time
* Provides assistance and back-up for the Project Development Coordinator
