+ Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas. Perform damage control checks on items, scanning and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy. Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Collect money (cash or checks) where required. Load customer returns on to trailer and secure trailer doors.
+ Ensure that tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured at all times.

Your summer will start off with a virtual Opening Kickoff event where you will learn all about the Sherwin-Williams Consumer Brands Group and be introduced to all of the exciting items your summer internship will entail.
While working side by side with your “Mentor” and other Sherwin-Williams Store Sales Reps, you will be introduced and begin to develop aspects in sales, analytics, marketing activations, training, Key Decision Making (KDM) exposure, business acumen and business communication. Interns will also be exposed to Sherwin-Williams professionals in a variety of functional areas.
After participating in all of these learning experiences, you may have the opportunity to visit our main office in Davidson, North Carolina where you can “Create Your Possible” and conduct a presentation on the exciting and new experiences that you learned throughout the summer.
We hope that by having you join our team for 10-weeks you get to learn, experience new things and potentially be offered a full time Sales Trainee or Store Sales Rep position upon your graduation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without now or in the future requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
Must be able to work all scheduled hours which may include weekends.
Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, and lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs.
Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Have at least one (1) year experience in Customer Services, Sales, Marketing or other Business related field.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)
Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university at the start of the internship program
Previous relevant internships or co-op experience.

The R&D Engineering Co-op position is for our Product Engineering Group focused in the Commercialization Engineering or Process Engineering. The co-op will be assigned a mentor and at least one “real world” project to complete during their assignment.
Minimum Requirements
•Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
•Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Initially the individual would be expected to become skilled at making and testing paint.
They would be responsible for assisting in optimizing formulations and processes through Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of the data.
Potential to work with Operations for site projects.
They will also be expected to participate in monthly and quarterly meetings presenting their work as needed.
This position is for a minimum of 6 months starting in May 2026 with the option of being extended to 12 months.
