RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store).
Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre- and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).
Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g., proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance within company standards.
Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM list and parts accountability.
Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
Keep track of assigned repairs by logging in and out of the Shop Fax system.

What you bring to the table

JOB SUMMARY
Controls and monitors freight and inventory levels using the most cost-effective methods. Also may provide clerical and administrative support to warehouse management in regards to inventory control and maintain SWAT systems. Provides assistance to Inventory Control Supervisor and Warehouse Manager.
This position is a night shift role with the hours of 8:00pm- 4:00am, Sun-Thurs. The Inventory Control Clerk offers competitive pay starting at $21 per hour plus a shift differential. This position does require you to operate in all areas of the warehouse including the freezer. Basic math and computer skills are a requirement for this position as well as forklift experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide for monitoring and inspection of produce at the dock to ensure quality standards are met and quantity is correct
Responsible for daily physical cycle counts on frozen, cooler, and dry product
Keep Warehouse Manager/Supervisor informed, as needed, of potential problems and changes
Complete inventory and warehouse reports on a daily basis
Assist and coordinate all physical inventories as called for under SYGMA guidelines and directives
Works closely with all departments regarding merchandise received, new items, all inventories, to assure a continuous flow of information
Adhere to cycle count program
Adhere it Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Guidelines

Education
A high school diploma/GED plus 1-year warehousing experience is required.

* Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
* Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
* Ability to openly and effectively communicate with all associates/departments within the company.
* Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
* Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems a plus.
Travel:
* 10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training.
Education/Training:
* High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Licenses/Certifications:
* HACCP certification a plus.
* PCQI certification a plus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
$75,000 - $125,000
