US FrontLine company history timeline

1995

In 1995, Frontline became one of the first news organizations to create an in-depth website to accompany its broadcasts.

1998

They had hit a high in 1998 with “From Jesus to Christ,” which attracted more than 14.4 million viewers and “The Farmer’s Wife,” which drew more than 16.6 million.

2002

Starting in 2002, a spinoff called Frontline/World adopted a format of 15- to 20-minute segments to bring viewers stories from around the globe.

2003

FrontLine Service’s Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) earned American Association of Suicidology certification as an approved Crisis Intervention Program in October 2003.

2005

By 2005, Frontline was producing some 20 programs a year.

But by 2005, the average per show viewership was a little under 5 million.

2006

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has awarded to Mental Health Services for Homeless Persons, Inc. (DBA FrontLine Service) three-year accreditation continuously since August 2006 for the following programs:

Emerald Commons, the first of thirteen Housing First sites to be created in our community, was opened in 2006, providing permanent supportive housing in a newly constructed, 52 unit apartment building.

2007

The History Channel hired Martin as a Historical Consultant on their series “Cities of the Underworld”. In 2007 he began a new assignment working as a Historical consultant/writer on the hit series ‘Greatest Tank Battles’, one of the most watched military documentary series ever produced.

2018

The largest emergency women’s shelter in the state of Ohio, FrontLine continued to operate the Center through 2018.
