Act as primary contact for air & domestic shipments, ensuring accurate inventory & shipment updates. Manage pickup and delivery appointments and coordinate with internal and external partners. Oversee warehouse lease billing, passthroughs, inventory reporting, and FARO entries. Support Customs compliance and maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders. Meet or exceed internal and external performance metrics. Continuous Improvement Maintain and enhance SOPs for shipping, receiving, and warehousing. Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements. Audit and release goods from CFS and ensure timely, accurate billing. Prepare reports and support process improvement initiatives. Train staff in safe forklift operation and serve as backup during peak times. Qualifications: 5+ years of warehouse or customer service leadership experience in freight forwarding or carrier operations. Strong knowledge of CargoWise and U.S. Customs compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Effective communicator with proven coaching and team development skills. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. Occasionally. Ability to operate forklift & other warehouse equipment safely (training/certification can be provided). Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the work shift. Ability to work in various warehouse environments, including hot, cold, or noisy areas. Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms. Present a professional image and attitude to other employees. Communicate to the Warehouse Managers any concerns or problems that might arise. Ensure that work schedules and break times of warehouse employees are correctly implemented, and jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly. Ensure that the order pulling process is in accordance with the highest possible level of productivity. Ensure that order pulling and placement of product on routes are accurate, and that product is free of damage. Direct the workflow and motivate and monitor the performance of warehouse associates involved in the order pulling process to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Monitor work processes and make suggestions for modification to increase and improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to reduce costs. Troubleshoot all Warehouse Department processes to identify weaknesses and recommend policies to strengthen controls and meet the department's priorities. Substitute for hands-on work as needed. Set deadlines to ensure timely completion of the workload. Ensure that daily housekeeping of the Warehouse Department is carried out. Execute daily and weekly reporting of KPI's and various Ops related data to Warehouse Manager, Site Leader and regional VPO. Will be expected to attend and participate in meetings in person and virtually, during the work week. REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum of 3 years of warehouse supervisory or lead experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
