Responsibilities: Repair electronic drives, controllers and pc boards Troubleshoot and test electronic components to board level, using various methods and testing equipment Repair and/or replace electronic components to board level, including but not limited to: diodes, transistors, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, other printed circuit components, etc. Verify repairs using start-up testing procedures Installs, repairs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains electrical equipment and fixtures. Determines method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment such as AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC's, switches and transformers by referring to blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications or verbal instructions. Analyzes failures of electrical equipment, using ammeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, drawings and visual inspection. Performs preventative and reliability centered maintenance activities. Qualifications: Associated degree in electronics or electrical technology or relevant military experience. There are Electrical/Electronic Technician positions in Irvine, PA, and from time to time maybe assigned to Corry/Warren Plants that maybe awarded in the near future. The successful candidate(s) will be required to work rotating shifts, including 24/7 and in some areas, there may be seven-day continuous schedules and there will be times when overtime work (over 40 hours/week) will be mandatory.
