What does the Oncology Liaison Sr do? (including but not limited to)
Develops positive business relationships to increase oncology & hematology new patient Physician Referrals in order to achieve annual territory organic growth goals. Support and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards and Shared Values.
Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)
* Perform marketing and sales activities for an assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed assigned objectives. Using consultative selling skills, initiates contact with non-oncology physicians and key staff to engage customers, source needs, and recommend service solutions in order to market USON affiliated Practice*s oncology services and increase the number of new oncology patient referrals. Establish and maintain strong long-term relationships with referring physicians in the territory. Implements sales, marketing, and outreach plans, presentations, and strategies designed to develop incremental referrals, new referral relationships, and meet customer needs.
* Develop a basic understanding of regional business conditions relating to the industry, competition, and relevant business trends. Identifies future growth opportunities for new services. Relays physician feedback and market trends data to practice leadership. Works with management to identify and execute business solutions to market and customer issues.
* Works collaboratively with practice physicians and practice leadership in identifying and facilitating referring physician and community based sales or outreach activities.
* Works with practice management team to ensure timely resolution based on customer feedback.
* Responsible for ensuring the efficient adherence to certain administrative duties, including timely completion of expense reports, use of automation tools such as CRM, detailed sales metric reporting and analysis, and business planning. Responsible for managing travel expenses within guidelines and budget.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Oncology Liaison Sr will have the following background and experience:
* Bachelors degree in business or health.
* MBA preferred but not required.
* Minimum 5-7 years healthcare sales experience, preferably calling on physician accounts
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and databases.
* Ability to be successful with a consultative selling model.
* Ability to understand business intelligence reporting and impact of growth initiatives on practice's financial viability.
* Proven ability to prioritize opportunities and convert it into a successful sale for developing and maintaining existing business.
* Comfortable delivering presentations and good relationship skills.

What does the Patient Services Representative do?
Under direct supervision, performs general business office functions that may include some or all of the following: billing and claim submissions; charge capture and payment posting; insurance verification and eligibility; obtaining pre-authorization; counseling patients and families on insurance and payment issues; and account follow-up and payment resolution. As necessary, assists patients and families with obtaining community resources including, but not limited to, housing, transportation, and financial support. * Ensures all insurance, demographic, and eligibility information is obtained from patients and entered into the system in an accurate and timely manner. Registers patients in the system as necessary.
* Collects and reviews all patient insurance information and completes insurance forms. Collects co-pays, deductibles and other out of pocket amounts at the time of visit.
* Confirms patient insurance verification and eligibility. Obtains pre-authorization of services and/or referrals. Assesses patient financial requirements and advises patients and families on insurance benefits, co-pays and financial obligations.
* Posts line items and adjustments to patient accounts. Balances receipts, reconciles daily work batches and prepares audit trail. Prepares deposits for bank as needed.

What does the Phlebotomist do? (including but not limited to)
Under direct supervision, is responsible for the collecting and processing of specimens from patients. Follows quality assurance and safety policies and procedures. What does the Admixture Technician do? (including by not limited to)
Under direct supervision of a physician working within a clinic admixture room, performs the technical, nonjudgmental aspects of medication preparation. With minimal supervision, responsible for record keeping and inventory control. Tasks are subject to sequential or final verification by a registered nurse or a registered pharmacist. What does the Patient Benefits Representative do? (including, but not limited to)
The Patient Benefits Representative, under general supervision is responsible for educating patient on insurance coverage and benefits. Assess patients financial ability; may educate patient on assistance programs. Updates and maintains existing patient new insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits in system. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology's Shared Values.
Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
* Prior to a patient receiving treatment; obtains insurance coverage information and demographics; educates patient on insurance coverage, benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.
* Assess patients ability to meet expenses and discusses payment arrangements. May educate patients on financial assistance programs as well as identify sources and provide assistance with completing forms. Based upon diagnosis, estimated insurance coverage, and financial assistance, completes Patient Cost Estimate form.
* Completes appropriate reimbursement and liability forms for patient's review and signature. Forwards appropriate information and forms to billing office.
* Responsible for obtaining, from Clinical Reviewer, insurance pre-authorization or referral approval codes prior to each treatment.
* Review patient account balance and notify front desk of patients to meet with
* Ensure that patient co-pay amount is correctly entered into system (or conveyed), allowing front desk to collect appropriately
* At each patient visit, verifies and updates demographics and insurance coverage in computer system according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Stays current on available financial aide. Develops professional relationships with financial aide providers. Networks with financial aide providers to obtain leads to other aide programs.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

What does the Phlebotomist do? (including but not limited to)
Under direct supervision, is responsible for the collecting and processing of specimens from patients. Follows quality assurance and safety policies and procedures. Assists with patient flow as needed. Properly identifies patient, draws blood samples and sends to laboratory for analysis. Maintains collection areas and equipment and performs record keeping duties. Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
* Performs phlebotomy and collects appropriate specimens from patients as ordered. Assures pre-authorizations and completes appropriate consent (ABN) prior to collection of limited coverage tests.
* Maintains proper documentation as described by the quality assurance program including accessioning logs, equipment records and checklists.
* Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and ensures that all supplies are viable before using for patient collection.
* Sends specimens to reference laboratories for any testing not performed in house.
* Processes incoming orders for lab testing.
* Processes in-house and in-coming reports.
* Updates and files all daily paperwork, lab logs and maintenance logs.
* Properly identifies and bands patients for blood product transfusion. Processes properly labeled specimens according to local bloodbank policy.
* Operates designated laboratory equipment as directed.
* Uses equipment effectively, skillfully and efficiently. Maintains equipment and work area as directed.
* Performs waived lab testing under CLIA guidelines for personnel. Records proper lot numbers of all controls, calibrator, and reagents for waived lab tests.
* Complies with regulatory agency standards. Adheres to all OSHA compliance laws and Universal Precaution procedures.
* Properly disposes of hazardous materials.
* Maintains a clean working environment and restocks the phlebotomy and laboratory area as needed.
* Maintains confidentially of all information related to patients and medical staff.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Phlebotomist position will have the following background and experience:
Level 1:
* Position is entry level and requires no experience.
* High school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Licensure from an accredited school of phlebotomy recommended.
* Current state licensure if applicable.
Level 2 (in addition to level 1 requirements):
* Position requires three years of experience.
Level Sr (in addition to level 1 and 2 requirements):
* Position requires five or more years of experience.

Requires corrected vision, color perception and hearing to normal range. Requires legible handwriting.

Qualifications
All USAP Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program.
Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology.
Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.
