Responsibilities
* Oversees the clinical operations of all labs in assigned areas of responsibility to include all facets of lab testing to include Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Proficiency Testing.
* Reviews all Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Proficiency Testing for assigned labs and those labs with a supervisor that does not meet the qualifications of a technical supervisor according to CLIA. Maintains awareness of, and compliance with, state and federal regulations regarding laboratory operations and licensing.
* Supervises the work of laboratory staff. Directs the development and evaluation of lab personnel performance objectives and goals each year. Develops performance expectations and departmental objectives for clinical staff to ensure efficiency and profitability. Assists employees and supervisors to solve performance problems through performance review, feedback and referral to counseling as may be appropriate.
* Establishes procedures and policies for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Proficiency Testing Reviews. Oversees, evaluates, selects, and validates test methods. Participates in writing procedures and policies to be used throughout the practice.
* Evaluates qualifications of potential employees; interviews and hires as needed. Assures that all employees meet CLIA and COLA requirements for testing personnel. Trains or assigns training of laboratory personnel. Provides Continuing Education opportunities and monitors employee participation.
* Assists in the development, preparation, and implementation of budgetary needs for laboratory services. Evaluates vendor bids for new laboratory equipment for financial feasibility, profitability, and use within our practice labs. Acts as liaison between vendor and corporate purchasing to initiate a corporate contract for pricing for the whole network.
* Directs the correct use of charge codes and CPT codes, educating all clinical lab staff in the correct documentation per reimbursement guidelines.
* Performs cost analyses on major equipment being considered for purchase and advises the Executive Director and Practice Administrators as to the efficiency and profitability.
* Serves as liaison with reference labs and vendor customer service representative to assure the best possible service and pricing to all our practice labs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology. Minimum seven years experience in laboratory testing, including at least five years in a supervisory capacity. ASCP or equivalent certification required. Current state licensure.

Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, provides administrative and staff support services for the department. Handles administrative tasks for projects, programs or processes specific to the operating unit served. Keeps records, statistics and files according to standardized procedures and requirements. Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers of Colorado (RMCC) has an opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated medical physicist as a result of a retiring physics staff member. Minimum requirements include: a master's degree in medical physics with ABR certification and an understanding of the systems listed below.
The immediate opening would be at our Lone Tree site at Sky Ridge Medical Center. The successful candidate would join another experienced physicist in covering this busy practice treating roughly 40-50 patient per day on 2 linear accelerators (1 Varian Edge and a 1 Varian iX which is to be replaced by the end of 2025). With a caseload of approximately 150 SBRTs and 50 SRS cases per year, we also have a low volume of HDR cases (Bracy Vision - mainly cylinders) and are currently in the process of implementing a Gamma Tile program. This site operates in an Aria/Eclipse environment with the RadFormation suite. You will also be joining a larger group of RMCC Physicist's who work collaboratively to assure coverage and allow everyone to take our valuable time off and attend meetings (we each get 1 fully paid meeting / year).

* Determines the need for, specifies, and accesses dosimetric and treatment planning equipment including, but not limited to, measurement instruments to calibrate all treatment equipment and monitoring devices, computerized treatment planning systems, computerized water phantom systems with appropriate ionization chambers and diodes, film densitometry systems, etc.

SCOPE:

Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 for non-nurses and $80,000-$97,000 for nurses

Responsibilities
* Screens potential patients for protocol eligibility. Presents trial concepts and details to the patients, participates in the informed consent process, and enrolls patients on protocol.
* Coordinates patient care in compliance with protocol requirements. May disburse investigational drug and provide patient teaching regarding administration. Maintains investigational drug accountability. -In collaboration with the physician, reviews patients for changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use, protocol compliance, response to study drug and thoroughly documents all findings.
* Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting. Schedules and participates in monitoring and auditing activities.
* Maintains regulatory documents in accordance with USOR SOP and applicable regulations.
* Participates in required training and education programs. Responsible for education of clinic staff regarding clinical research.
* May collaborate with Research Site Leader in the study selection process.
* Additional responsibilities may include working directly with other (non-USOR) research bases and/or sponsors.
* Identify quality and performance improvement opportunities and collaborates with staff in the development of action plans to improve quality.
* May be responsible for compiling and reporting protocol activity, accrual data, and research financial information to practice administration and physicians.
* May oversee the preparation of orders by physicians to assure that protocol compliance is maintained. Communicates with physician regarding study requirements, need for dose modification, and adverse event reporting.
* Provides a safe environment for patients, families, and clinical staff at all times through compliance with all federal, state, and professional regulatory standards as issued through OSHA and the CDC. Maintains strict patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and applicable law.
Qualifications
* Associate's degree in a clinical or scientific related discipline required, Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum five years of experience in a clinical or scientific related discipline required, preferably in oncology.
* SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred.

* Graduate from an accredited program for nursing education (BSN preferred). Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology. Experience in clinical research preferred. Current licensure as a registered nurse in state of practice. Current BLCS or ACLS certification required. OCN, SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing assessment, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, hematology, oncology, clinical trials and GCPconcepts. -Experience with computer data entry and database management. -Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills-Attention to details and accuracy-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures such as protocols, informed consent documents, and regulatory documents. -Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and follow through with results.-Ability to solve practical problems and implement solutions.
