    Wichita Endoscopy Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. We will consider Contract, PRN, PT, or FT candidates. This position has a very flexible schedule that can be very accommodating for the ideal candidate. The schedule could consist of multiple half days throughout the week, 2-3 full-days per week, or Monday-Friday 8-5:00; with anywhere from 15-40 hours per week depending on the candidate preferences. Wichita Endoscopy Center is an ambulatory surgery center, which provide excellent, compassionate, and comprehensive digestive health care. SCOPE: A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who practices in collaboration with the physician and healthcare team to deliver high quality anesthesia and pain care services. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Performs and documents the pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of the patient. * Reviews laboratory/ diagnostic studies. * Obtains informed consent for anesthesia and related services. * Selects, obtains, orders and administers pre-anesthetic medication or treatment. * Develops and implements an anesthesia care plan. * Selects, obtains, prepares and uses equipment, invasive and non-invasive monitors, supplies and drugs for the administration of sedation, anesthesia and pain management services; performs safety checks as needed. * Selects, orders, obtains and administers analgesic and anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, or fluids necessary to provide anesthesia services. * Performs all aspects of airway management, including fiberoptic intubation. * Facilitates emergence and recovery from anesthesia by evaluating patient response, and selecting, ordering and administering medications, fluids, and ventilator support to maintain patient stability during transfer. * Evaluates the patient's response to anesthesia and surgery; takes appropriate corrective action during the post-anesthesia period. * Provides post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care. ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Demonstrates support for patient safety when performing his/her job functions, and takes action to correct observed risks to patient safety. * Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population served. * Demonstrates knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques. Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrates ability to implement and adhere to facility policies and procedures. * Demonstrates self-directed learning through completion of orientation requirements, nursing certification and updates, and continuing education program. Qualifications EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. * Holds current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: * RN state license and current registration with the Kansas State Board of Nursing. Current CPR and ACLS certification required. Must maintain continuing education requirements. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: * None. A Little More About What You Will be Doing The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director to deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. Documents routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results. As a Catheterization Lab Technician, you will use physiological monitoring/recording systems to create, manipulate, improve, and record analog and digital radiographic images used in diagnostic, electrophysiology and interventional cardio-vascular procedures and examinations. You will perform a range of technical and supportive patient care tasks in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Experienced CVTs that meet the qualifications of Tech I and also have three years' experience along with ACLS and RCIS may qualify for the CVT Tech II position. Summary of Essential Duties: Assists with CVIC procedures applying approved protocols per standards of practice for safety, speed, organization, precision, and accuracy based upon the department's accrediting agency and/or department guidelines for exam protocols, adhering to department safety and productivity standards. Scrubs, monitors, assists, and circulates safely and timely, supplying necessary equipment and performing vascular site management, while supporting FDA approved and clinical research procedures. Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are: * Obtains prior authorization for scans, labs, subsequent chemotherapy visits or any other service as required. * Maintains a professional working relationship with co-workers, insurance companies and referring doctor offices. * Assists in receiving and reviewing orders from CCK providers to analyze if necessary to, and then when necessary, obtain prior-authorization. * Receives and reviews clinical documents within the electronic medical record ("EMR") in order to meet requirements for obtaining the authorization. * Services responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for may include radiology, laboratory, chemotherapy and injections. * Contacts referring physicians and facilities to obtain referrals for all services scheduled at CCK. * Provides clinical information to insurance companies and case managers as needed. * Coordinates peer to peer calls between physicians and insurance companies. * Assists in maintaining up to date information on insurance requirements for all authorization needs per payer. * Uploads and attaches authorizations and referrals to the practice management system ("PMS") and EMR as needed. * Contacts insurance companies through effectively navigating company websites, managed care portals and through methods such as phone and fax in order to complete prior authorization information requests for ordered services. * Timely and accurate entry of information in the PMS and EMR. * Follows the status of authorizations and referrals to ensure timely receipt. * Ability to multi-task and communicate through various mediums. * Maintains a good working knowledge of chemotherapy authorization requirements for all payers, State and federal regulatory guidelines for coverage and authorization. * Remains current on all compliance requirements and in part, demonstrates knowledge of Adheres to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) laws and guidelines with regards to patient's records and information. * Attends required, applicable meetings. * Remains current on all compliance requirements. * Ensures all applicable policies and procedures of the company and Network are followed. * Other duties as requested or assigned including coverage within the department. * Performs other tasks as reasonably requested by a provider or member of the Management Team, as applicable to the role. As a 12-hour MRI Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will work in a fast-paced, busy environment where critical thinking is essential. Attention to detail is a must! We are seeking an MRI Tech with a high level of technical skills and a deep understanding of MR physics and protocol optimization, as well as strong customer service and safety skills. Scheduled days are based on department needs, including weekend rotations. During training, hours will be 8hr. days 5/days per week.
