The Opportunity
This opportunity may lead to selection into a two-year development rotational program following graduation. The Finance Future Leaders Program Data track has the goal to develop future finance leaders by focusing on data and analytics business components that support finance functions, that leverage strong technical skills and strategic thinking ability through mentorship, training modules, regular and timely performance feedback, and stretch projects that focus on driving business improvement and efficiencies. Each rotational assignment will be approximately 8 months in length but may vary based on business need. Participants can expect to have exposure to assignments within data science, decision science, and business analytics.
Example Internship Assignments:
Information Stewardship and Data Governance: Leads Finance Information assets and remedies gaps related to Enterprise Data Governance requirements. Builds and implements data monitoring rules using a variety of techniques and tools, supports data management efforts in adherence to USAA internal policies, standards, procedures, and external laws and regulations.
Business Intelligence: Analyzes business problems and incidents using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to analysts and decision makers. Builds specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
Insight Delivery: Within defined guidelines and frameworks, consults with the business to understand and define opportunities and recommends solutions by analyzing data and providing key insights to advise decisions.
Data Science: Within defined guidelines and framework, translates business problems into applied statistical, machine learning, simulation, and optimization solutions to advise actionable business insights and drive business value through automation, revenue generation, and expense and risk reduction.

The internships will be based either at the USAA Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, TX, or Charlotte, NC, based on business needs.
What you'll do:
Under direct supervision and following risk and compliance procedures and guidance, you will perform routine work assignments and problem resolution to support other team members tasks, including the following.
Captures business requirements by partnering with customers to define the business problem and data needs.
Ensures that information management practices: Metadata management, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Profiling, etc. are coordinated into appropriate business and technology processes in support of the Information Governance policy.
Uses basic knowledge of multiple data structures and sources to support the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions, which may include data visualization, business intelligence, data transformation, or data collection.

What you need to have:
To qualify, you must be a bachelor's degree or higher degree, from an accredited college or university, in mathematics, computer science statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, science and engineering, or other similar quantitative discipline. We are seeking a senior-level manager who will serve as the Cyber Incident Response & Management Co-Lead. **Compensation range:** The salary range for this position is: $114,080- $218,030 **.**

Job Description:
This job is responsible for promoting business continuity, crisis management, and/or operational resilience and facilitating cross-functional collaboration and decision making related to business continuity initiatives and ongoing process activities. Key responsibilities include working with teams to facilitate and execute deliverables related to business continuity planning, testing, incident management, progress reporting, and audit/regulatory issues. Job expectations include providing business continuity subject matter expertise and/or crisis management support.
Acts as a lead contributor or project manager to execute the scope of initiatives and processes through continuity planning, testing, supplier assessments, enterprise risk transparency, and response management.
Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure business continuity, crisis management and/or disaster recovery plans adhere to policies, standards and/or procedures
Supports deliverables related to audit and regulatory inquiries
Provides subject matter consulting related to business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery programs.
Surfaces issues affecting recoverability and ensures resolution
Role Description:
This position will focus on Consumer Business Continuity and be responsible for strategic focus on events that impact multiple business organizations.
Manage procedures and readiness materials for Business Continuity, including Lessons Learned.
Continuous improvement of major crisis events playbooks such as Government Shutdown, Cyber Events, and Employee Unavailability.
Collaborate with Single Process Inventory (SPI) process owners and delegates.
Identify opportunities for improved effectiveness across Business Continuity.
Respond to major events and coordinate the response to return the business to normal operations leveraging the Business Continuity Plans and Response Playbooks.
Ability to manage self-identified Issues and deliver requirements on time or ahead of schedule.
Manage multiple events and/or projects simultaneously
Partner with multiple organizations across the enterprise to drive resolution to business disruptions
Develop processes to ensure preparedness to events
Ensures collaboration and partnership with all partners
Position requires rotating on-call coverage including nights/weekends
Required Qualifications:
Experience with developing and implementing initiatives
Strong risk awareness, including operational, compliance and reputational risk
Work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives
