Pension and 401K, my job results mattered and impacted internal users but ultimately benefits the membership.
I personally really enjoy the work-life balance and how much downtime you are given right away.
One of the aspects I found disappointing is the culture, I had long heard the legend of USAA and its culture of diversity and service. There is a lot left to be desired as far as communication, the message, and above all else training.
For me personally, having health insurance, health care, vision, dental, that is going to be the number one benefit to have for me. Time off is always great, however Ideally I love what I do and I'm covered.

I’ve been here 16 years and now they’ve cut pay/bonuses. They’ll overwork you, undertrain you and give poor knowledge resources. They monitor bathroom breaks and may require pto to be used if over 7 minutes. Hard to schedule time off
Used to be the culture and benefits but now there’s a reason attrition is nearly 30%!
The benefits
Micromanaged to a crushing degree, understaffed, no progression opportunities off of the phones and terrible systems and information bases.
