The Manager, User Experience Design will report to the Sr. Manager, User Experience Design.
About The Role & Team:
The Manager, User Experience Design leads a team of practitioners in content strategy best practice, business direction, product strategy, Guest data, and research from internal and external sources to define narrative goals and guidelines that ensure Guests find the information they need where and when they need it within our digital experiences.
This role leads the content design team in defining, socializing, and implementing decisions at a discipline level, as well as performing project-level responsibilities with wide impact on the end to end user experience.
This role also drives the content design system strategy and implementation for Product Design & Creative, making data informed recommendations to manage and optimize our content ecosystem.
You'll approach your work from a multidisciplinary, holistic perspective - applying expertise across content strategy, user experience design, and user testing - to define and design complete content solutions.
What You'll Do:
Lead team members in the practice of content design, providing craft and career mentorship, feedback, and pushing team members to further their at all stages of the design process, including IA, taxonomy, content hierarchy, content audit, user research, data analysis, and design systems
Oversee resourcing for team, ensure accurate billing processes, and contribute to forecasting and accrual processes to maintain financial integrity and support organizational objectives
Engage in estimation and planning across the organization, voicing recommendations, feedback, and solutions from a technical perspective and aligning to the overall project goals to deliver on-time & in-scope
Proactively track and assess content design trends and emerging technologies across the industry to inform strategic decision-making and recommendations
Identify and resolve problems for the team, projects, and within the direct organization. Employ sound judgment and business acumen in solutioning, and utilize relationships and coaching to resolve problems within their team and with direct partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and cross functional partners at all levels to drive strategy, collaboration and innovation

The hiring range for this position in California is $180,300.00-$208,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

**What You Bring**

Key Responsibilities
Efficiently prioritize incoming job quotes and generate accurate estimates based on customer-provided designs within 24 hours, ensuring seamless follow-through and successful completion of the sales process.
Coordination of daily calendar to ensure timely customercalls, and other communication is met.
Accountable for cold calling new prospects and dormant customers.
Responsible for following up with customers to ensure any changes are accounted for, requests are fulfilled, and any challenges are addressed.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a sales-driven environment
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize is required.
1years of experience in 2020 Design software is required.

Job Summary
This is a full-time position in which the candidate will design and detail interior spaces, exhibit displays, site plans, and facade designs for a wide range of attraction projects within the Ripley's brand. Must be able to develop creative, technical and original solutions that are on time and on budget. Responsibilities and Duties
Research and develop ideas, concepts and storylines for new and renovation projects
Develop preliminary concept designs and presentations for stakeholder approval
Prepare full Detail Design packages (to include overall gallery/attraction layout, guest experience touch points, wall and show graphics, millwork/furniture design, exhibit display planning, multimedia integration, wall/floor treatments, lighting/audio and special effects, etc.) for project fabrication, production and installation phases
Work on multiple projects at once and adjust to changing priorities
Requirements
5-10 years of relevant theme park, museum and/or attraction design experience
Strong knowledge of the attractions, location-based entertainment and/or museum industry
Bachelor's degree in architecture, themed entertainment design or related field
Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and similar creative design tools.
Experience using AI design tools to enhance concept development (OpenArt, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, etc.)
Ability to develop written conceptual outlines and treatments for design intent.
Graphic design skills with a focus on environmental and signage design
Millwork and furniture concept development and design
