Research big ideas/ volume-driving trends in women's: silhouette, color, and details.
Create and deliver seasonal trend reports in a fast-paced environment.

Oversee and provide guidance to Textile Print & Graphic Designer in the development of all over and placement prints.
Provide guidance and direction to external partners for silhouette design, repeat and placement print graphics
Manage external vendor timelines and vendor deliverables
Create, manipulate and re-color textile designs/graphics/ prints and embroidery when needed.
Participate in fittings and partner with the Technical Design team to achieve consistent brand right, trend-right fits.
Attend relevant trade shows, travel to vendors and suppliers as requested
Conduct regular competitive audits to ensure Tillys is on-trend
Partner with marketing to provide seasonal in-house brand direction and ideation.

The Opportunity:
Perkins Eastman has an exciting opportunity on the West Coast in our Costa Mesa Office. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate team member with strong individual design and problem-solving skills for immediate opportunities as Designer II. This position requires the candidates to support project team leaders and produce presentations suitable for the Perkins Eastman team and clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Manager responsible for the individual project, Designer II will be responsible for assisting in Master Planning, Site Planning and Building Design exercises utilizing 3D Modeling, and Digital Presentation Packaging.
Assists the design team on projects from the Pre-Schematic Phase through Construction Documents.
Prepare program and schematic proposal, project layouts and develop designs in 3D using Revit and other 3D modeling software for client review/approval.
Perform design computations, specification research, compile data, and other supporting technical project information.
Assist with the preparation of construction drawings and construction detailing.
Review building codes to assure the design complies with minimum legal standards.
Assist in the Construction Administration phase by reviewing shop drawings and other submittals.
Prepare finished material sample boards, physical models, and graphic presentations for client approval.
Coordinate the work of engineering consultants.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in architecture.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in architectural office.
Division of the State Architect experience with the full life cycle of project review, approval and certification is preferred.
Digital architectural visualization and animation experience preferred.
Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts internally and externally.
Ability to work on multiple projects and manage project priorities.
MUST be highly proficient in Revit.
Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as AutoCAD, visualization applications such as Lumion and presentation/graphic applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
California Architect license preferred or must demonstrate interest in progressing towards licensure

Full-time Description
The Catalog & Visual Materials Designer is responsible for the creation of all visual assets (print and digital), overseeing catalog production from beginning to end, and managing our library of images and videos. This role will be an integral member of a collaborative team focused on planning, implementing, monitoring, and overseeing a variety of marketing programs, working closely with the Director of Marketing. Your creative thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part in elevating our brand image through both digital and print media, curating a library of impactful media assets, streamlining the catalog production process, and overall improving the materials we make available to our customers and showrooms to promote the growth of the business.
The Catalog & Visual Materials Designer's responsibilities will include:
Leading the design and production of several catalogs, brochures and flyers from concept to print. This will include updating our large 500+ page catalog 2X a year during our new product launches. This will require working in collaboration with the Director of Marketing as well as other internal teams.
Oversee the process of ensuring the product data from our PIM accurately populates our digital catalog files.
Utilize Photoshop to ensure all corrections and/or enhancements on images for use on website and in print are maintained to ensure high levels of quality for images and in styling for our high-end brand.
Lead the layout and print process and track completeness/correctness.
Work directly with printers to ensure level of excellence in all print materials; ensure correct print specifications and colors, etc. are used. Attend press checks when necessary.
Assist with specialty printing projects such as travel display box, and design/printing for swag used for promo's, at factory tour events and tradeshows.
Assist with creation of tradeshow graphics and collateral.
Assist with rendering projects through our rendering vendors; be able to obtain quotes and independently communicate and follow up; ensure quality of renders, manage images through engineering review process, and be able to provide feedback and finalize.
Product knowledge- ensure proper image representation by learning product details and technical know-how to ensure technical correctness.
Help keep our digital ecosphere clean and organized: Ability to learn archiving schema of assets and carefully name and archive all assets properly, with careful attention to version control, correct placement, and updates in all platforms.
