Product Designer
User experience designer job in New York, NY
Courted is the leading AI-powered platform for real estate recruiting, retention, and market intelligence. We help brokerages and teams understand agent performance, recruit strategically, and retain top talent - all in one place.
The real estate industry moves over $100B in annual commissions, and it's still powered by spreadsheets, cold calls, and guesswork. We're changing that with AI. Our platform combines data, workflow, and machine learning to make every recruiting and retention decision smarter.
We're an early-stage, high-growth SaaS company shipping fast, working smart, and building transformative tools for the next generation of real estate leaders.
The Role
We're looking for a Product Designer who loves solving problems and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll work end-to-end across the design process - turning insights into ideas and bringing them to life through thoughtful workflows.
At Courted, we place huge emphasis on user-centric design - transforming complex real estate processes into simple, powerful tools. You'll dive deep into how people use our platform and find opportunities to make their day-to-day work easier and more efficient. This is a great role for someone eager to grow, take ownership across the full product lifecycle, and help shape the future of Courted.
What You'll Do
Contribute to end-to-end feature design - from exploring user needs and defining flows to delivering polished, production-ready interfaces
Translate research notes and interviews into clear problem statements, user flows, and prioritized opportunities
Create low-fi sketches, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity mocks to validate ideas quickly
Partner closely with our Visual Designer to refine layouts, states, and specs so designs are fully ready for engineering handoff
Collaborate with engineers through handoff, build, and pre-launch reviews
Maintain and extend our design system - add components, document patterns, and improve consistency
Support ongoing UX improvements by identifying opportunities to simplify, streamline, or elevate existing experiences
Document design rationale so product, engineering, and sales teams stay aligned
Use metrics and feedback to improve shipped features over time
What You Bring
3-5 years of full-time experience in product design, ideally within a SaaS or fast-paced startup environment
Curious and proactive mindset - you ask questions, seek context, and quickly learn new tools or technologies to get the job done
Strong end-to-end design process - from identifying the right problems to solve, to exploring solutions, and making smart tradeoffs along the way
High attention to detail - you care about polish and consistency, ensuring your work feels complete and ready for launch
Systems thinker who can simplify complex workflows into clean interfaces for accomplishing difficult tasks
Organized executor - you manage your time well, communicate clearly, and follow through to deliver thoughtful, high-quality work
Interest in AI and data-driven products, with a desire to understand how things work under the hood
Familiarity with modern design tools like Figma, and comfort applying core product design skills to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable solutions.
Why Courted
Real ownership: You'll ship features end-to-end and see your work go live to thousands of users
High velocity: Tight feedback loops, minimal bureaucracy, maximum learning
AI + vertical depth: Build at the intersection of machine learning and a $100B+ industry that's just beginning to modernize
Visibility: Work directly with product leadership and cross-functional teams shaping Courted's future
What It's Like to Work Here
We're a small, focused team that values momentum, candor, and follow-through. Everyone builds - ideas don't get kicked down the line.
We care a lot about the work and very little about titles. People here are competitive about outcomes, not credit.
We're a high-trust team that ships fast and sweats the details.
We debate ideas, not people, fix things in daylight, and try to keep a sense of humor while doing it.
