Qualifications
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, Business Analytics, or related field
5+ years of experience in AI research, marketing analytics, sales operations research, or similar roles
SKILLS
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to model savings, revenue lift, and efficiency gains
Familiarity with AI technologies including LLMs, GenAI platforms, embeddings, RAG systems, and marketing automation tools
Comfortable evaluating AI workflows, APIs, and vendor features to assess feasibility
Excellent understanding of Sales and Marketing processes including funnel analytics, lead generation, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization

Under the general direction of the Director of Prospect Management and Strategy, the Prospect Researcher supports University Advancement by conducting in-depth research, analysis, and reporting on individuals, corporations, and foundations to inform fundraising strategies and enhance donor engagement. Focuses on analyzing existing constituent data to identify new prospects, preparing research on assigned prospects, and supporting strategic fundraising initiatives, including campus-wide comprehensive or capital campaigns.
The Prospect Researcher collaborates closely with Advancement leadership and the Development team to ensure fundraisers are equipped with accurate, actionable, and timely information. Requires skills in research, data analysis, and interpretation to help build and maintain strong prospect pools and to guide data-driven fundraising strategies. The Prospect Researcher is responsible for prospect portfolio distribution and other prospect report distribution to University Advancement staff. Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university including the completion of a course in statistics. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. One year of experience in technical research or statistical work. One year of graduate study in the social sciences, economics, mathematics, statistics, public administration, business administration, or engineering may be substituted for the required experience.
Working knowledge of methods used to prepare research reports. Ability to assist with gathering and analyzing of research data, and with the compilation of data for reports and summaries. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt effective courses of action. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to create and edit publications and proposals and distribute communication via social media.

The Experience Designer role is hands-on, in-person, and highly collaborative. No two days are the same. You will wear many hats and share a number of responsibilities. As an Experience Designer, you will steward:
AN INCLUSIVE ATMOSPHERE: Welcoming students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the Hive, including conducting tours, and sharing information about resources and programs.

Co-curricular programming
Co-leading the development of the program of events each semester with Hive staff and event facilitators, including program curation, managing communications with partners, and logistical coordination.
Designing and creating digital and physical programming calendar and event flyers for display, posting, and distribution.
Communicate with event facilitators and Communications team to execute effective outreach.
Lead the planning and execution of at least 2 program events per semester.
Customer Relationship Management Maintenance
Support the ongoing maintenance of the program's customer relationship management (CRM) system to track students, partners, alumni, and project outcomes.

HOURS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
This is an in-person, full-time position with 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Working hours are between 9a-9p (Hive open hours) and will be agreed upon with manager. Occasional overtime, holiday, weekend, and evening work hours are required.
Regularly communicates with students and other guests who have inquiries about our organization and space. Must be able to share accurate information.
PHYSICAL CLASS: This position frequently involves remaining in a stationary position for extended periods while operating a computer and other office equipment.
